Ok so a lot to break down here based on claims, I will do my best to address everything. I asked the staff member about this and they believe there be some sort of miscommunication. They state they simply answered some questions and never reviewed a clip, nor were they responding in a 'staff capacity'. This would be correct if 1) The cop shot YOU and 2) You didn't have a gun out (for the duration of the clip you had a gun out the whole time) I think you are confusing the Server Killing Rules with PK rules. This is a valid reason to shoot a cop, meaning you can shoot them this and it is not RDM, so not a rulebreak. A rule valid kill. However you take an inherent risk whenever you engage police and can still be pk'ed if you die. If an Officer shoots your faction member/friend, while it may be within server rules for you to defend them if you choose to do so and are killed you are still PK'ed. It's an in character choice and consequence you risk when deciding to engage police. Video game, people are jackasses, has no bearing on validity. Sounds like a joke/being a jackass, again does not affect validity. No, addressed and explained. The clip is ~20 seconds long. Here are the facts of the clip. The clip was taken by another officer. There are two officers in this situation. We can see at the beginning that you have a gun out and are pointing it at the cop, we also see your friend is dead. However, he decides to NOT shoot you, even though he is within his right to, he tells you once or twice to put the gun down/put your hands up, the Officer then turns around to deal with and shoot at someone who just stole his cop car and was going to try and run them over. He fires on that person, not at you at all and when his back is turned to you, you then gun him down. Even if he did shoot you before the clip (hearsay) you did not immediately react and the rp continued, giving you ample opportunity to surrender. Instead you saw and took the opportunity to kill him (unaware another cop was behind you). A very obvious choice and calculated risk. I see no server rule being broken here that would invalidate this PK.

He meant corner peeks, not wall glitching. Putting your gun to safety and back up still has a draw time (time depends on the gun itself) it could prove to be a disadvantage in high stress situations. "third person is fun because you can bypass a skill balance mechanic (recoil) that exists in 90% of FPS shooters" Point in case really lol Anyways, you FREAKS can still third person with paintbull guns ! Get your fix there

Doesn't stop mass flooding BEFORE the coup is initiated Again, the coup function is not meant to serve the take over of a faction, if the boss is wacked the next in line HC should take his place. That's what most coups end up being. People earn recruit perms or simply lie to staff to recruit people, it's too abusable to FULLY blame it on the boss or don. While they do bear some responsibility about the happenings of their faction they still should not be subject to meta/powergame'd coups from outsides people. A coup is by definition an internal struggle if you are bringing in outside people to fill your coup numbers then thats not a coup! I disagree, and think the fundamental issues this presents out way any current issues that may exist with the rules. I.e. they are fine as is, this is the status quo that's been maintained for more than 3 years.

The only situation where HC would not matter is if they are inactive, then their participation would be disregarded. As it stands, I understand the point you're making about people being friends. However I bring 2 main counter arguments. 1. People could just get a load of their friends to join as low rank factions and then take over as associates / soldiers, which of course doesn't have much RP involved! 2. HC of a faction being tight knit kinda makes sense when you think about it. Coups are rare for a reason generally, only if there is a big loss of confidence in the don and his actions should a coup take place, and I've seen these 'HC good friends' turn on each other in the past. I think your idea, while having some spirit, doesn't consider that coups are not there to take over factions by outside people, as that is meta/powergame'd, but is to whack out a bad don, ergo the need for HC approvals.

There is no complaints, there is no feedback. Map is amazing, most amazing map ever, I will play the next 5 years on this map, vendor system is fine I like exercising my legs, multiple orders, dynamic orders and cooldowns are all fine, doors are fine i like opening doors, Alliance changes are good it's genius, anything else is amazing. I must consider the overall health and balance of the server before my own self interests! Glory to Diverge !
