  1. +1 Very smart and continues to want to improve himself and help others around him.
  2. +1 White Collar Corp has been a nice staple towards roleplay. Really have enjoyed seeing it evolve and it already in itself feels like it should be a faction.
  3. In-Game Name(s): Danny Silvershine, Daniel K. Park, Adrian Nakamura Steam Name: Psykho Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/RealPsykho/ Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:95772378 Discord Username: Psykho Age: 25 When did you first join the server: Back in December Total playtime on our Servers: 550+ Hours across all characters Time Zone: EST How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating? At least 15-20 hours per week, possibly more depending on volume and server needs. Have you read the rules? Yes. I’ve read through the general rules, PK guidelines, and a lot about general legal RP on the server. I also recently took a long-form quiz on the fundamental rules and passed with a high score. Do you have a working microphone? Yes, I have several working microphones. Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? Yes, I acknowledge this and will do my best to fulfill the needs of the community by meeting this quota. Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands? Not all of them entirely, but I am used to several admin-related systems and can adapt easily. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff? Yes, I acknowledge that the truth is important. ___________________________________ Long Answer Questions: What is your motivation/reason for applying? My main motivation for applying is to enhance and protect the experience of my fellow players on Diverge. Roleplay can already be challenging at times, and I’ve personally experienced moments where I needed staff assistance but had trouble getting it. With over 8,400 hours in Garry’s Mod and a strong desire to help others, I feel a genuine sense of duty to give back to the community that has given me so many great moments. I want to be the reliable staff member who ensures everyone can enjoy their time on the server without unnecessary disruptions. Why should you be considered over other candidates? I believe I should be considered because I am highly accountable, have no ego, and maintain a strong growth mindset. I hold myself to high standards and am always hungry to learn more. Beyond general GMod experience, I bring deep knowledge from my roles in the Courts, Bar Association, police department, and both legal and illegal businesses- knowledge that not even some current admins possess. While I don’t see myself as better than anyone, I am confident in what I know and how I can contribute meaningfully to the staff team through my experience, merit, and dedication. Do you have any previous staffing experience? Yes. This server was built in part by Canadian Bacon, who I staffed with years ago. When we were teenagers, we both served as admins on a server called Chronet, handling in-game admin duties as well as forum work such as appeals and ban requests. I was there for at least a year, possibly closer to two. After Chronet, I staffed on several other Garry’s Mod servers, though I don’t remember every detail of those positions anymore. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why? No, I have never been banned or received any warnings or rule punishments on your servers. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you? Yes, I would say I am fairly well known in the community. Many players recognize my characters, whether as the fair/teacher cop Danny Silvershine, the prosecutor Daniel K. Park in the courtroom, or Adrian Nakamura as a lawyer, arms dealer, and mechanic. Across all of these roles I’ve focused on creating and empowering roleplay for others while treating everyone with kindness and respect. Even when there is in-character conflict, I never let it create out-of-character bias. I believe most community members see me as fair, consistent, and someone who genuinely enjoys bringing positive energy to the server. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far? I have quite a few favorite moments, but the ones that stand out the most are the times I’ve been promoted, whether it was at the District Attorney’s Office, within the police department, or inside various crime factions. There’s something very satisfying about seeing all the hard work and dedication pay off and get officially acknowledged by the community and leadership. Have any staff members recommended you? Not at this time. I haven’t made any staff members aware that I’ve applied yet. I plan to reach out privately to those I know for support once this application is submitted. I prefer not to name-drop or create any sense of open bias, that’s simply not how I like to conduct myself. ___________________________________ Problem Solving: Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this? If I am able to hop on duty without interrupting important roleplay, I will do so and take the ticket directly. If I am currently in the middle of active roleplay, I will keep an eye on the ticket queue and the flow of tickets being accepted by on-duty staff. Once my roleplay concludes, if the ticket is still open, I will request that the player remake the ticket so I can take it properly while on duty. If the admin system allows for better handling of off-duty situations, I will quickly learn and adapt to that method to ensure the situation is addressed efficiently and fairly. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do? The first step I would take is to speak with them privately in a calm and respectful manner. There may be context I’m unaware of, and addressing it directly like a fellow team member can often resolve the issue without escalating unnecessarily. I would explain what I’ve observed and give them the opportunity to clarify or correct the behavior. If the issue continues after our conversation, I would then escalate it to higher staff following proper protocol, always prioritizing the integrity of the staff team and the community. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. How do you proceed knowing this? It doesn’t matter how well I know the person or what my personal experience with them is- everyone must be treated fairly and equally under the rules. If no other staff member is available to take the ticket and it falls to me, I will handle it with complete impartiality, judging only based on the evidence and server rules. If at any point I feel that my personal connection could create even the appearance of bias, I will immediately disclose this to fellow staff members and recuse myself from the ticket to ensure fairness. Maintaining trust in the staff team is more important than any personal relationship.
  4. +1 14K-wise and PD-wise, you've shown me that you're a genuinely good person who truly cares about doing things the right way. You admit you're not perfect, but you always try to make others laugh and have a good time. Server staff should be accountable while still being fun and willing to commit time to the community. I believe you're capable of doing all of these things.
  5. I acknowledge this and appreciate the information as well as you doing what you felt was right- which was setting the PK. With that said, I know you aren't ruling on this, but I simply want to respond so the record is as clear as I can make it. It must be understood I was literally on the verge of my next promotion, which- for the sake of civilian life needed to be avoided. Not only this, but I was told by handlers that for one reason or another, I would VERY likely be killed if I didn't pull out when it was requested anyways. Context to all of this matters: from command requests, to identity and everything else involved.
  6. To clarify for the record, I have verifiable proof that I left the faction on 2/27. Based on the claimed two-week cooldown, that period would have concluded on 3/13. Realistically, the only alternative I could have taken would have been to go on a two-week LOA. However, even that would likely have triggered orders regardless. More importantly, my departure was not voluntary in its timing or manner- I acted at the direct request of command, which I was obligated to follow. I had intended to remain longer and potentially approach things differently, but that option was ultimately not available to me. Additionally, I have not found any PK or general rule that explicitly establishes this cooldown requirement, nor was it clearly communicated to me by handlers in a way that applied to my situation or timeline. I appreciate the input provided, but I believe this also overlooks the issue of identity. Without clear evidence of corruption or exposure, it is difficult to see how my identity would be known in-character, which is a critical factor in justifying the outcome.
  7. Hello! I understand that you're claiming to have IC information, but if I'm correct in this appeal you need to provide more than just a "trust me bro it was done IC." This char was maybe in City a max of 2-3 times prior and I never left the police department or talked to anyone who wasn't police. Because I can prove that there was nobody in the Altoviti faction even on the scoreboard at the time of the name change itself. My name was changed and I was placed into the PD faction as presented in this screenshot. So what evidence could possibly be obtained IC that could leak my identity? https://imgur.com/a/6lIZQBA
  8. Name of Character: Danny Silvershine -> Enzo Vitale -> Michael Cross Character ID: 186579 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:95772378 Your Discord ID#: Psykho Date of PK: 3/18/2026 Reason for PK: Undercover resurfaced to PD Why should you be unPK'd?: During a Police Department press conference, I was actively on duty. After the event, I arrested an individual for trespassing and proceeded to the front desk to assist another person. Without meaningful interaction or escalation, that individual immediately produced a firearm and killed me, resulting in a PK. The interaction appeared targeted to me, implying the individual believed I was the undercover officer they were searching for. However, there is no clear or valid in-character justification that would allow them to reasonably identify me. My character had been out of the city for an extended period (approximately 2 weeks to 1 month) and returned with a completely new identity, including a different name and appearance. I did not interact with anyone from my prior life aside from a very limited group within PD command (Chief, Deputy Chief, Sgt. Det. Juan Padilla, Captain Jamal Lee, Lt. Jim Donovan, and one recruit), and I did not disclose my previous identity beyond that circle. The individual who conducted the PK is unknown to me and, to my knowledge, had no legitimate in-character means of identifying me. Additionally, their actions showed little regard for their own life, as they either committed suicide while in custody or were killed by responding officers. If this situation involves corruption, it has not been confirmed or approved by UA. Without confirmed corruption, there is no valid basis for my identity to have been shared. When I raised concerns, Administrator Calink stated that something seemed off and that they would investigate; however, no clear justification for the PK has been provided at this time. Based on the above, this situation raises concerns of a lack of IC justification, potential metagaming, or the use of unapproved corruption. I understand this matter may still be under investigation by UA. I am willing to cooperate fully and can provide supporting VODs if needed.
