The first point, I think, adds even more to the RP. Instead of dealing with "This new recruit can see the whole racket and can buy whatever shipment they want whenever they want" we are dealing with "Okay this person is leaking info he shouldn't be, let's crack down." Now i understand the point about that maybe being abused for PKs, but I think HC would still need proof of who did what at the end of the day for the PK to be valid, which if you think about it, no more or less proof is needed with the current system we have. For the second point, logically the number should be set up by HC, and obviously there would need to still be whitelist access to use the number. Since phone numbers have to be at least 5 digits, the racket numbers could be 4 digits for ease of access. I get your point about this type of system getting dull over time, but I still think it's a good step to the right direction. Now for the third point, what is "The right direction" that i just mentioned? Well I think the vendor recode is long overdue already. We've had basically the same system for 5 years now, besides some UI changes, and as far as interactivity goes it's gotten pretty stale. I think the community as a whole should collectively think up ideas to replace the current system we have, at every aspect. This suggestion with the payphones came to me because I was trying to think of a better shipment system. Now I know that making a whole new vendor system is a tall order, but small implementations can take us there.

Like the title says, the shipment NPC system is as uninteractive as it gets, my idea was that HC of each faction would have specific phone numbers to plugs, they'd give those phone numbers out to whoever they want(reducing the amount of racket abuse). You'd type out the phone number on one of the payphones and you'd be able to order whatever shipments through that.

My wish for 2026 is that both of you are banned lmao
-
Insane you agreed to that retarded ass take. Who's to decide which faction is "the weakest link", and how in any way could that be decided IC? "Oh this underground criminal organization doesn't have many people active when i press tab they are weak we can purge them in game". Police trying not to metagame challenge (impossible)
-
I'd agree for a second chance since it's been so long but, really? Your friend who just happened to have basically the same name tried to appeal your ban for you? come on man...
-
Brother you've been getting banned from 2023 to 2025, seems like the only time you aren't in trouble is when you're banned. Hell nah. -1
-
-1 Dude seems to love to metagame
-
Dude only has 1 ban under him from 2022, yeah i'd say give him another shot +1
-
RP here dawg https://divergenet.works/forum/11-general-discussion/

Doesn't need a genius to realize that having someone else write out an apology for you may seem disingenuous, the dude starts out with "I’m writing to apologize" for fuck's sake. We're not bashing the tool, we're bashing the context in which it's used.

God forbid a person makes a mistake. This guy needs to get off the stick he's sitting on. Everyone makes mistakes at some point or another, Sauerkraut's a competent dude and he's got alot more experience in the server since allat.
-
+1 Good guy, he can be serious when he needs to, great RP and overall presence and i'm not saying all this because he's my beloved step-bro.
-
That's one of the stupidest things i've read on this forum. It should be expected that evidence is required. If you are going to snitch you SHOULD have proof of what you're snitching on.
-
I think cops should have keys to all properties that way they can get their evidence
-
Yeah getting a ban from that is retarded +1
-
One of these again, how about you think of something and write it instead of getting it off A.I retard -1 Edit: Looking at your bans, you got perma banned once before and it took you a whole 3 days to get banned again after the unban. Pick something else to play buddy.

Rare skucci L honestly, I don't see how any of that could be moderated in a fair way, it even could get abused pretty easily. A big faction can just say "Hey let's all go make new characters and get hired in this faction that we hate, that way they get a cooldown on their hiring". The main problem of the server for recruitment and new players right now is that the main driving force of the economy is the grind, and that's completely antithetical to the RP. Most people want to make money and have that nice car or that nice suit etc. but you can't get that through RPing. There's always this element of "grinding for the don" that is currently necessary and that won't sit well with alot of new players. When you see "MafiaRP" in the server list you expect to get on and join a Mafia, making money through trafficking substances, weapons, extorsion, robberies etc. What you actually get when you join the server is a job at a restaurant that you have to take seriously for at least a day or two hoping that this restaurant is owned by the Mafia(a new player wouldn't know that most restaurants/stores are fronts) and that someone will recognize you and clue you into what's happening. Most people just lose interest at that point.

Yeah this dude was banned in 2022, let's give him another chance why not +1
-
I like the white shirt but please bring the close back
-
+1 I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS it would add so much to the ERP of the server!!!!!! I've sent you a DM with the ERP system i was working on maybe we can elope together and make ERP great again :). Don't worry women of the server, you won't need to sit on railings anymore just to feel something, we got you!

Imagine timezones being a thing, and while your eyes are closed imagining that imagine how easy it is to just buy shipments without telling anyone and doing deals of your own and supplying whoever you want without anyone ever finding out. Nip it in the bud, the feature makes sense IC wise.

Yeah maybe not a constant countdown, just a reminder like how server restart reminders happen.

Imma go ahead and blow your mind, brace yourself. While most Mafias historically avoided killing cops, it was a common occurrence both in NY and in Italy. While a cop in-game shouldn't be killed willy nilly, some actions should 100% be PKable. Cops right now walk and act like they are hot shit because there's no repercussions and that's what they can get away with. Basic example: In reality cops and detectives had to move a certain way, they knew that if they overstepped their ass was on the line which is not a thing on the server.
