This would be more than acceptable, as this is for people who just want the music in general to be more quite while things like cars, gun shots, lockpicking etc are all the same volume, sometimes the mp3 of certain songs is REALLY loud, and I don't want the sounds from all addons to be more quite I JUST want boomboxes and car radios etc to be able to be turned down in their entirety. Its hard to find a good middle ground for SFX volume, and sometimes if not most times the boombox or radio is somewhere you cant even use the client side menu, if you had both, people could turn the music of one specific music player for that session up while the global always stays the same, then you have a use case for both sliders. I.E lets say for example 1 being lowest and 10 being highest i have my global music slider to 5, I want to be able to hear the song on MY radio in my store that i have access to, id be able to turn lets turn it up to a 7 while the rest of everyone else music stays at a 5, then when i leave the server, all radios go BACK to 5 including the one i put to 7 while logged in with the C client side menu. I really wish this was the way music boxes would work because they can be annoying, now with the newest change this isn't nearly as bad as it was, i still think my idea could hold merit, IF its possible on LUA.

This does work... that's for in game music not addon sounds those are technically "sound effects" if i remember correct.

Aka I turn this slider down and every single thing producing music on the server for only me gets turned down, basically lets people mute their in game music if they wanted. Tired of people's music from next door blasting overtop of mine. This would work wonders if it would save when you leave too.

Im not one to bitch about people having fun. Im more of the person to let people just live their lives, its gmod, i understand this. BUT 1. Constant minge chars with zero RP that talk ooc constantly. (wong, genderswap, etc) 2. People will talk about factions openly in rumours with no rp just literally ooc talk about factions and shit. 3. Large amounts of people standing in a group doing nothing (most of the time theyre in a discord call) 4. I see atleast 3-4 sets of people following each other very clearly using discord every single day. 5. Nobody ever gets in trouble for abusing factions or joining just to minge, their char just gets killed instead of a ban 6. Constant shit clothing that wouldnt even make sense on someone if they were insane let alone 1989. (king Baldwin mask, leanin suit, etc) 7. Nobody is forced to run their stores even if theyre paying taxes leaving alot of buildings just never open or doing anything. 8. Theyre are literally like 3 factions that are JUST for minging. My suggestion, get on your admins ass about fixing some of the problems, force them to spectate people really take the time to watch if people are breaking rules and start passing out punishments, its kinda insane that ill put a ticket in and its the same 2-3 admins taking my tickets but 8 are online doing literally nothing to help the server feel better. I'm sorry if this ruffles some feathers but I know very well im not the only one feeling this way. I joined about 6 months ago and just in that time ive seen a STEEP decline in peoples care for the rules because punishments aren't harsh enough. - someone who just wants to RP and is tired of clowns and trannies in my mafia gang server....

This on paper sounds amazing, but from someone who has owned a few gmod servers, this would 110% kill all very little optimization that gmod has. This sounds easy enough, esp for any game thats not lua but on gmod this would mean constant tracking of items for EVERY item, in real time, for 128 people all at the same time. Just so your glasses fit better, it just couldnt work on a game from 2004. Amazing idea if it was possible though, id be all for this. So very soft -1

Its not even rumour chat is the issue, its staff does NOTHING to stop people from talking ooc in rumour. Only thing that ever happens is someone in ooc saying to stop or a 5 min timeout. START PASSING OUT BANS FOR PEOPLE TALKING OUT OF RP INSIDE RUMOUR OR VC, server is full of people who just DONT RP in the slightest because its too hard or they dont care etc. Rumour is plagued with people name dropping factions, that needs to stop or the health of the server and its chat will just continue to degrade.

1. Make the inventory size for trades small and have a cool down 2. Just like when putting on attachments it announces the items you are giving said person. So for example I use the C menu to hit "hand items" or something, the person that sent the request can hand items to the other person but not back and forth. Thus the cooldown being effective. They could hand me items back but then we would both be on cool down. Use cases in my mind 1. For store workers and owners to pass their legally obtained items without having to use a container. (gun stores, clothing stores, vendors at events) 2. For people wanting to buy clothes off someone random of the street 3, For passing drugs and other stuff quickly in alleyways 4. Gives cops another advantage/thing to look out for pushing further PD play and RP Just in my mind making it to where instead of just dropping stuff on the ground there is an actual interaction to doing so, there would have to be rules around like not passing items during RP to avoid shit and stuff but i really think this could be used in real creative and fun ways lmk what yall think im open to criticism but its something id love to see added.

also if anyone knows a fix to this please dm me on discord .@skucci because even if he gets pk'ed I know he isnt leaving the server or anything and still loves it and wants to play so im sure he wants to fix this issue. Im 110% biased on this post because he is my friend but I will say he has been having some type of addon issue since I very first met him like 2 months ago, every single time that someone shoots around or near him, his entire game will crash without even a pop up. "Reaper" is a pretty well known good guy in rp around the city not known for being a minge or doing shaddy stuff to get out of being in trouble. Ive never even seen this char arrested and weve been friends for awhile. I think the idea of giving the items to the person that was robbing him isnt a bad idea at all shows he doesnt care about the items just wants to make it right and explain himself. Even a like 2 week ban would be better than a char ban on a capo that is known for pretty good RP. Again im biased as this is my friend but I personally outside of our friendship believe him because ive seen him crash and have internet issues ALL the time in game when we do deals together etc.

Only having one space to spawn cars from on ONE side of town is repetitive, now i understand not adding a whole new car lot with npc but just one space more around maybe the dock or police station would make life better and make the new additions to cars feel more impactful too as people have incentives to grab a car instead of just running if they had a spawner closer to them than all the way by the casino.

I think pendred should just do this as a donation thing like how he will change buildings. If someone wants to pay yk 200-300$ then sure i see no reason why not.

Just lower the tax for clothing instead of making a whole system to not rp

Remove the limit for stashes where if we hit a map prop we "are in a fight" its very annoying.

Change the model of oil to the blue barrel or something so they look different in our inventory. Easy change
