I think fail-muggers should be insta PK'd on the spot since the victim never got the time to get their revenge and kill them. Fail-muggers are essentially by passing a PK and only getting a ban instead. Now, about PK'ing the main too, I thought it was ridiculous at first, but honestly that would make muggings a lot more high risk high reward more fearRP , consequential and more exciting tbh. Tired of pussies not doing it on their main account. Come risk your life on the char you have $5 million+ on , not some random minge char with an old char ID and some money to make it look like they "value their life". And like Bananaguy23 said, the biggest issue by far is going to be new/semi-experienced players. They will be able to use the excuse of saying "Oh I'm new I didn't know." which may or may not be true. Either way +1.

Hello. I am the guy you almost successfully mugged, and a proper lick is something I will never be angry about. In this game, you can't just create a character and go around mugging people and making them risk everything while you're on a character you simply do not value. A lot of us put months and even years into these characters. Another problem, you and your friends were banned by 4lights on October 7th for fail-mug. I was the same victim. It is such a striking coincidence that I just so happened to be the same victim twice in a row, while you and your buddies were saying "I knew we'd catch a Jew" by the Governor's mansion, or did you forget? Read the rules of mugging, char abuse, mugging chars, target mugging etc. Instead, you should've mugged me on your Bonnanno Main, that would've been exciting to be honest, but you won't be getting that chance anymore, I'm sure of it, as you are disgrace to their name. If you some how mug me again after this 2 week ban it is obvious target mugging. This isn't some DarkRP garbage server. You likely only have one chance left. Enjoy your 2 week vacation and your early retirement in Northern Sicily.

This kid is a minge, literally 13/14 years old, did char abuse by swapping chars when he picked up my gun from the ground and staff forced him to give it back or get PK’d. Once told me he is banned from all communities of GMOD. -1

Being an electrician is one the fastest and most efficient ways of making money for a civilian. That is, if you are playing on the day map. On the day map you receive many tasks to repair that pay good for a civilian. But ironically at night, when all the lights are on full blast, electricians suddenly don’t have a job to do maintenance. Maybe it’s just a me thing, but I doubt it. I’ve never seen anyone fix a light post at night but many during the day. my ideas are, focus on fixing electricians not receiving tasks at night. Then maybe in the future add blackouts because of lack of repairmen

Got a score of 40/43. Accidently clicked sending DM for a lawyer is metagame again. Got the one with multiple people with guns wrong again but realized later, only person B is under fearRP, since A is pointing a gun at B and facing away, B is pointing a gun at C, but C is holding his gun out in safety, so only B is under fearRP. Second try.

Hello. I sent my response and got a score of 33/43 or about 77% rounded. Some were ambiguous. For example, I got two FearRP questions wrong. Question 6 where there is a total of 5 people in one image and many people aiming guns at each other I got wrong. There's also one where someone has a literal gun pointed at their face but the other person has his gun on safety is somehow not FearRP. I got the messaging for a lawyer through discord is metagaming, wrong. And people purposely drowning for evading arrest, I remember people used to just do that non-stop to get out of police, in fact so did I thinking it was not, I guess they just never made a ticket. Either way, test score is sent. Thank you for your time.

around April 10th-April 17th I believe is when I got banned, which by the way was 100% percent deserved. I've tried looking in the bans section of this website and can't find it but it was during the final week of Lent

If that is true then I literally have no clue what game that would be. I only noticed it after the Diverge permaban and I haven't played any games since then really. I click on the game ban and it doesn't tell me anything other than it taking me to a link explaining what a game developer ban is. The VAC one says Counter-Strike 2, developer / game ban one doesn't say anything sadly.

It's sadly not 6 months since my ban, but it might be 3-4 months. Diverge's 1980s Mafia RP is the first, and only roleplay I've ever played in my life. I have about 3,000 plus hours on Garry's Mod, and all I really played was TTT and Sandbox with my friends. When I logged into Diverge, I believe it was March 3, 2025. I hadn't played Garry's Mod in over 10 years since I had logged in. This context is important and I hope you guys understand. I was banned permanently for metagaming, which is when you are "using knowledge or information from outside the game's core mechanics to influence gameplay." Prior to the ban AND after the ban, I didn't even know what metagaming was. I'll give one example, I was talking to someone in my faction, I then whisper to them "I have access to this factions radio frequency 24/7" the person responded "That is metagaming" I didn't respond, but the person followed up with "It involves real life money". Ok for me that was difficult to understand at first but after a few hours I understood what they meant by real life money. Either way, I remember what led up to my ban. My char had been PK'd by a cop maybe 6-12 hours before the interaction. Since I had been PK'd, I made a new char and walked back to the restaurant I was employed at on the PK'd char. I then just start saying "Hello [name], hello [name]," to people I worked with but since I was on a new char, this is metagaming I know that now, but back then I had no clue what metagaming even was, in the slightest. I didn't even know how to make staff tickets with the @ sign, that's how little I knew. Yes I still have fond memories of Diverge, many, even if it was like only one month of playing, I no lifed that server and that was the first time I had got hooked on a video game since pre-2020. I finally had found a game I liked. For more context, that I don't feel is important but maybe it is for you guys, I had been drinking alcohol on top of alcohol for 3 days straight, my girlfriend had just broken up with me leading to me just drinking and pretending like I didn't care but I definitely did. I remember in the admin sit, I was very drunk, I was not using a microphone but I remember telling the staff member in chat "I don't care, ban me" when honestly the staff member was very reasonable and kind with me. Sadly, I was burned out from real life, drinking, burdened and it showed it game. I want to say that my emotions/feelings back then should not be applicable to this appeal but as typing this, I realize it's tied to what led up to my ban. I had not read the server rules even once, I literally didn't know what metagaming was, my girlfriend had broken up with me and I was being a drunkard on diverge. This combination led to a permanent ban which is not at all surprising. I trust the discretion and judgement of the staff members of this server and their opinion of my appeal. Console insta-banned. Got the accounts in my family banned. My brother yelled at me and can't really blame him. Bringing this up because this up because I feel it is important to mention as well.)
