Hello, Clearly this instance is a case of RDM, you even stated it yourself in the moment. So I won’t be delving too deep into that. Your main issue with this ban is the ban length so that’s what I will mostly be commenting on. Ban times are more or less up to the discretion of the banning staff member (so long as it’s not egregious). Staff look at the given the facts of the situation and previous situations to determine how to/how long to punish for. In this situation your disregard of the rules is more than evident. As a faction leader and former staff member you should be more considerate of the rules. So, it’s been determined that the ban length is justified.

Hello, 4Lights pretty much summed it up quite well and quoted the relevant rules Your intentions of shooting the officer are quite apparent. The attempt was made, therefore starting a violent confrontation with police in which you died in. Per the rules this is ground for a PK. Additionally to your point of the officer maybe making an attempt to arrest you, if it there was loads of times between you pulling the weapon and the trigger, and him shooting you, I would be a bit more sympathetic towards this. Though, he reacted nearly instantly basically starting to shoot just as you began putting away your weapon. To him you were still an active threat with intentions of killing him.

Hello, This situation is pretty clear cut. You were actively running around begging people for money so you could pay your kickups, which you said the word "kickups" out loud multiple times. Something that is clearly against the rules of this faction and probably every faction on the server. Joining a faction means you agree to abide by their rules, and if they believe you havent they can order their death if they'd like to. Additionally, this character had the EXACT same name of a previous character of yours that was also PKd. Keep in mind its against the rules to re-use the names of previous PKd characters of yours.

Hello, Firstly I’ll reply to your point regarding the officer saying “That’s a PK after killing you”. The rule explicitly states that using OOC terms during/after a PK situation “MAY” invalidate the situation. Key word there being may. It is up to the discretion of the staff member who takes the sit and whoever is handling the appeal if they do appeal. In this situation I’d say the use of OOC terms is not enough to justify accepting this appeal. If the officer was being obnoxious about it hollering “that’s a pk that’s a pk!” after killing you opposed to calmly saying “that’s a pk” I would have a differing opinion. Granted he still shouldn’t have but this was pretty minute usage of OOC terms. Another thing that’s taken into account is whether the officer has a history of doing this. Which this one does not. Seemingly he didn’t even know about this rule and I hope he’ll never do anything similar again. Secondly you mentioned the officer driving as a Probationary Officer. This is more of an IC issue. Once again if he was driving around minging I’d have a differing opinion but he seemed to be preforming his duties within the server rules. Doesn’t invalidate anything in regards to this PK. Lastly you mentioned how the officer bled out after he killed you. He can still PK you even after he dies. Again, doesn’t invalidate anything.

Alright, intentions aside, the outcome remains the same. You either deliberately used a prop to kill multiple players, or you did so through careless behavior. Regardless of intent, the impact of your actions is serious, and I hope you can recognize the problem they’ve caused. As the admin who took your PET flags previously explained; you already have two prior offenses for prop abuse. He believed a pattern was becoming to show of you behaving reckless and careless with your prop usage. Given this history and your actions in the clip shown I am in agreement with Yukis assessment.

Hello, Just to reiterate what the admin who PKd you already explained to you, the moment you begin to tie someone up this is considered a mugging, which is what you did. That means per the rules, if you die in this scenario, it qualifies as grounds for your character to permanently killed, which is exactly what happened in your case. Your intentions are irrelevant. If you begin to tie someone you are putting your character in a position to be killed.

Hello, While there is an argument that could be made whether the individuals involved with this mug could be mugging characters or not, something that will be looked into. My main issue with this mug and subsequently the PK lies with the execution of fear RP. At the beginning of the “mug”, when demands are being made at “gun point” the weapon of the mugger is on safety. This means your character is not under legitimate fear rp at this moment as the weapon isn’t being pointed AT you. The weapon is eventually taken off of safety, which is when fear rp would properly be imitated. However less than a second later, ~0.5 second, you take out your own weapon. Presumably in response to the previous “threat” when fear rp was not applied correctly. This does not allow sufficient time for you to realistically respond to the threat and comply demands when placed under PROPER fear RP.

Hello, In the clip provided, it’s clear that while you may not have been the one to physically lockpick the door, you were actively involved in the raid. Involvement like this opens up the possibly for your character to be permanently killed in the event you die in the raid. And unfortunately for you, that happened to be outcome in this case. In the clip you are shown standing outside the door with a baseball bat, alongside a member of your faction (same person who lockpicked), and even shouted 'go go go' as the shooting began. These actions clearly indicate your participation in the raid.

Hello, Unfortunately I was the one that administrated the PK on your character. To begin with, I would like to apologise for this PK being a little delayed. I understand that you were told by two different admins that you wont be getting PK'd as a result of this situation and getting killed from it 2 days later can be frustrating. So for that I apologise. Now to get to the whole point of this appeal. The reason why your character was PK'd was due to it being deemed that the chances of you accidentally pulling out your weapon whilst your friend/factionmate is getting arrested is highly unlikely, more probable that you had intentions on shooting this officer in defense of your friend.

Hello, all the different claims you made throughout this appeal have been carefully considered and investigated by multiple people. Nothing was found to be against the rules in this situation, no NLR, no cheating, no metagaming, etc. Other parties have shown plenty of context that helps re-enforce this situation as a valid PK.
