What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I spend numerous hours per day on Diverge in which often is AFK, I can occupy this time by taking tickets, especially during early hours in which other staff members are on. There is many occasions in which I myself will put in a ticket and staff don't respond for prolonged amount of times, even sometimes lasting until server restart or never even responded at all. I know many other people who experience the same problems and is an common occurrence within the server which I wish to help prevent. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I have though about applying for staff for quite a while and If I were accepted, I would do my best to enforce the rules and take the job as serious as possible, knowing that the staff team is quite a large part of the server and help up keep the rules daily making the server a good experience. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): None, that I can remember. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No, I have not. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I believe I am somewhat known throughout the community and have a reasonable standing with most people that do know me. I don't believe I have any conflictions with anyone on the server - if so they do remain IC and do not get dragged out OOC. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Opening up my own Business for the first time, which was Successful within it's running. I also have had great experience in the servers beloved Italian Roleplay as well helping host fishing competitions as of recent. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: Toast, Shauningt, Yug1, Schmekles, Boosted ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: Take a clip and make a staff ticket for a member of staff who is currently on-duty to take and help resolve and encourage the person who was RDM'd to do the same using /looc, so the staff member is clear on who was RDM'd. After the ticket is taken and I am dragged, I will then provide the clip to the staff member and explain what happened, in which then the staff member will be able to use the evidence provided as well as my story and the person who was RDM'd, to make a proper judgement of the situation and then do what they believe is fair. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Knowing that they're diminishing people's time and enjoyment on Diverge. If they continue to abuse, I would take and gather the evidence of them abusing such as clips, messages, etc. And make a staff report which will be resolved by a higher member of staff. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: No matter if I knew them or not. There should not be any bias as someone has broken a rule and constitutes a punishment and a resolution immediately instead of leaving it to other staff.
