What server rule or PK rule was violated?: Well first of all it wasn't a raid i never initiated a raid or posed a threat of any kind I was following hades and he said we had keys and i followed him inside too see if they worked in the clip i didn't even try them till they came inside i had no intention of raiding and got lead into a bad situation and only one guy saw us enter and didn't say a word we never left the lobby and went nowhere else and never pulled out a single weapon again posing no threat at all (not initiating a raid) or forcing our way in A robbery is defined as forcing your way onto a property with the intention of burglary or theft (or just to gain access, can be considered a raid), lockpicking a door open or barging in with weapons while there are occupants inside or when the occupants step out. Squatting on a property is not considered a robbery the definition of force is "coercion or compulsion, especially with the use or threat of violence." we used none of this we literally had free reign to access this property just seems like the rules are getting twisted. Can all this new shit be added to the conflict rules? I think it’s unfair that lower ranks get punished because their faction leaders haven’t told them specifically. seems to be a lot of the issues with the constant switch of rules. for example the graffiti. People were doing KOS then were told with a gun out. Everyone presumed safety. now it’s you have to aim a gun at them.

I'll reiterate the points made when i spoke to Happy. - Safehouses were established as part of the conflict escalation as agree'ed on by both alliances. It aims to provide protected buildings for each side to hide high command members who may be subject to hits during the conflict. Both sides were made clear that if a raid or shootout occurs on a safehouse it can and will be a pk for the attackers whereas non safehouses can be raided without the regular consequence of a pk. What the two safehouses were should and would have been communicated to you by your faction leader. Several points were brought up. - They had keys - They had a room there (hence the keys) - They didn't start the shooutout! When the conflict started the owners of the imperial requested all Gambino keys were removed from their doors and for some reason they weren't taken off the front doors, either due to an error or a saving issue. With that being said, knowing you had no reason or business to have keys to that building instead of reporting the issue to get it resolved you abused the fact you had them to gain access to a building you shouldn't have had. Causing issue and getting killed, then using the key excuse as a way to get out of it instead? A point was made that having the keys were valid because the faction had a room there, but when i asked what the code for the doors were no one was able to produce the correct code for the month of April, proving that argument to be null; or argued in bad faith. Now, whether you had keys or not, the main issue is the undeniable fact that you went to an opposing safehouse, with the direct intention of starting a problem (dropping trash) and when confronted attempted to leave and then escalated via punching them. From any other perspective how else is that meant to be perceived other than an attack on a safehouse? They don't know your intention, they don't know if the raid is sanctioned or not, you could have been scouting out looking for one of their HC members to PK for all they know. You can't go and start a gun fight at an opposing safehouse then say "ope well it was actually just RDM" or "yea well but i have keys so its ok" In your own clip you clearly coordinate the dumping of the trash, and also use /y to yell asking"u got keys??" + had jew curls on, pretending to be an employee there, pretty evident you two went to drop trash, draw attention to it, then when they pressed Gallo you were going to shoot and wipe them. The only logical explanation is you were somehow unaware it was a safehouse (Which means you're blaming your faction leader) or simply believed because you had keys / it wasn't a 'sanctioned raid' you could avoid the pk. As for the metagame claim the clip provided by the opposing individual clearly shows them deafened in discord and directly witnessing you enter and drop the trash, so no proof of metagame to be had. If the roles were reversed and the opposing alliance had done the same sort of dumping -> shootout on your safehouses then the result would be the same, that person would be pk'ed. It's pretty evident when the situation is fully explained it becomes obvious as to why this happened, rather than throwing around hearsay accusations.

-1 Im gonna be so real, logic does not deserve to be staff at all. I have played with him personally and its pretty much what a lot of others say, he's immature, argues, and I'd say pretty biased. I personally was with the Jews and so was he, while in this faction he was always arguing with others and making problems for no reason. For example we would be casually sitting in a vc and I'd be talking with someone and he would randomly butt in to make a argument and talk shit on a bunch of people. Furthermore I would constantly tell him about his behavior and he would never change (this is during a 6 month period of consistency about telling him about his behavior). He has not changed and certainly wont change while being staff. He will just be biased and get upset when no one is listening to him. My appeal was previously denied but with the recently accepted appeal that looks almost identical to mine (The Real Gilbert, who also had 2 previous warns and was revoked for flipping a vehicle during dead hours) , I wanted to try again at getting my flags reinstated. I apologize for my actions flipping the vehicle and it won't happen again. I was just messing around at 4-5am and didn't cause any damage to anyone or their property and gently tipped over an already burning vehicle with no one inside or close enough to be hurt from it. Regardless, I know it was wrong and I can promise it will not happen again.

So there's private security companies and bail bonds companies in the city but they only have lethal options at the present moment. Obviously these companies are expected to subdue people non-lethally. The tazer would help accomplish this and it would be cool if you could instantly or more quickly restrain someone who is tazed. Further, if a tazer is unavailable or too expensive etc it might make sense to make it such that if you take a certain level of bludgeoning melee damage (not slash or stab damage as that's simply more lethal) that you could get knocked out. If you're knocked out either you could be in a stunned state or simply fall over like a tazer would do. In either case it would also be ideal to allow people to be tied up in this state. I do already see a problem with the falling over thing where it might bypass the AFK timer? Just pointing out things as they come to mind. TLDR you need the right tool for the job and you don't always need to beat someone to death or shoot them for that matter. Instead of NLRing people who antagonize your business you could beat their ass and kick them to the curb.

Rough Idea: Have rarely seen this feature used, but maybe increasing the availability of bail and revamping the bail system could help counter frustrations of people sitting in jail, waiting weeks for a trial. Allow them to be released while waiting for their trial with limitations such as a semi-permanent attachment to their character like an ankle monitor set by staff until the trial date or a different coloured name above their head to help police monitor people on bail. An idea to make bail more readily available could include the process being entirely done through discord and google docs/forms without either party having to be in the city, using a format similar to the name changes (Name, Proof of payment...). Once the courts receive the funds they will add a note to a channel similar to the #name-changes, showing that the person has paid and are allowed to be released on bail so staff can remove them from the state pen faction and return them to the one they were in prior. The bail could be paid by a third party (typically the faction they're apart of), and the bail will be refunded back to the account which paid them when the person attends the trial, if the person doesn't show up to court, the party that paid bail will not receive a refund and will be entitled to PK the person on bail. This could open the door for new bail bond companies that can profit of this system, along with making the court process (trials) more enjoyable, without having to spend weeks locked up in a cell.

obviously some melee weapons are used a lot more commonly than others, and some have different ways on obtaining i.e shiv and lead pipes require things from rummaging around trashcans and going to different npcs in order to craft them, other than for rp reasons, going through all that effort seems a bit pointless for weapons that aren't particularly better than others that can be obtained through easier ways i.e going to hardware and just buying a baseball bat, so how about giving some melee weapons special attributes depending on what they actually are! for example: - blunt weapons being able to cause concussions i.e. lead pipes, baseball bats, spades - sharp weapons being able to cause bleeding faster than normal, i.e. kitchen knives and machetes - shivs being able to cause damage overtime due to something like a temporary infection, reason im saying this is because if you take a closer look at the shivs in game, that metal is 100% rusty and not clean depending on what the weapon is, the special effects would kick in faster or slower than other weapons of the same category, because obviously baseball bats are a common weapon used for first hiring new people as security guards, wouldn't be horribly nice being concussed 24/7 concussions could be a dazing screen overlay effect, hindering the player from being able to fight back properly, bleeding would just work the same as the current bleeding already in game and the infection would be similar to bleeding but either less or more damage. picture of the shiv for anyone who's never seen one in game before:

I understand it can be frustrating, but conflicts are dynamic and ever changing based on the circumstances or issues that present themselves. They also can change based on what the two alliances agree on, like that melee brawl in the park, it's more about helping to create roleplay instead of just gunning people down, these aren't hard rules that will apply to every single conflict moving forward they are unique to the situation of this particular conflict, and sometimes they need to be added or modified based on the issues or complaints either side has. So since they are dynamic they can't be hard added to a post or rule page, and they only apply to the select factions in a current conflict, meaning the sole responsibility lies on the faction leaders or alliance members in sharing those messages and rules with their underlings. Now I was told that the Gambino HC had notified the relevant people in their faction of the safehouse conditions, so I have no reason to believe the circumstances surrounding it are in any doubt as i trust that they did their due diligence, especially considering this hasn't happened to anyone else.

Hello Vethar, Sorry for the delay, after some discussing I've came to the conclusion to lift your ban from your account. I came to an agreement this was properly escalated. You two were getting verbally disrespected by Pearce in the vehicle and you guys decided to follow him, since he was driving at walking pace, you guys ran up and started punching the vehicle which is part of the escalation. Since you can't really damage Pearce you guys roleplayed it out by doing damage on someones belongings (his car) In the video you provided you started the escalation yourself, you insult them and their reaction is them 'chasing' you since you're driving at walking pace through little italy and they have any right to confront you about it (also because UA and Commission is in the middle of a conflict) now that I looked back at it, to me it looks like YOU (Pearce) were hoping for some sort of reaction out of it, since you did not drive off. You were escalating it yourself and didn't really make an attempt to get away after you disrespected these men. You could've reversed with the vehicle and went on a different direction, since the guy with the christmas shirt was infront of your vehicle. You backed off and what it looks like to me is intentionally ran him over and said "Ight bet" which was a proper reason for them to kill you. You insult them, they respond by punching your vehicle after some words exchanged you ran one of them over and they kill you. What do you do?: If I have seen it it means I should confirm if it is abusing. Maybe it isn't something I know about what they are doing and shouldn't jump to conclusions right away. However if it is clear they are abusing, I should be gathering evidence and sending it to UA so they can oversee what is happening. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I have request a different admin because that could constitute to bias. I want to try my best to not take on a situation with bias as that could be detrimental to my reputation. If there is anything I can add I don't mind responding to comments made. Thanks for reading!

I understand the sentiment but this suggestion doesn't really do much. You're saying 'make this better' but then you don't suggest an alternative or identify slowdowns. Certain aspects of the court system can maybe be integrated. automated or optimized on a script side, which is planned to-do, but what are the actual slowdowns outside of 'the people that volunteer their time to do the courts took long because they are juggling 20 other cases and their real life' A time limit is ultimately the other real suggestion but that will just force default judgments and people dont like that / always complain when that happens.

Hello, I am the administrator that banned you. You seem to have no real interest in the server. You constantly break rules, and never learn from it. I appreciate you apologizing, and acknowledging the severity of your actions, but RDM on this scale is simply insane, and I'm surprised you haven't been permanently banned yet. When I brought you to a sit for RDM on your cop character, you instantly deny everything I told you, and decide to RDM the person in the sit once more, making him lose a very valuable item in game, that could not be returned to him, because it was a custom item, making the person in the sit very upset with your actions. You constantly disrupt the RP environment, and seeming to think you can get away with it. When you do return, I do hope you are better, and I hope you understand you are very close to a permanent ban for your actions. I will let higher administration decide the verdict on this ban.
