-1 TLDR: Keep jmooresy banned cake. Starting diverge I had jmz repeatedly shout abuse at me with no context of the rp of the server, later finding out that this guy was a staff member and was treating me like this in my first steps of the server could've pushed some people away so I'm glad I knew to ignore someone just dribbling hatred for no reason as after this and joining a faction that wasn't just shouting abuse at me. Further more I've had this guy show up to an apt in ghetto, switch to his staff char to see what was happening and then switch back to his main char. (What a lovely second meeting). During the conflict I had repeatedly again received abuse (including telling me to kill myself) from jmz but also from his cronies who were instructed to spout the same hatred that this insecure wee guy had spent months shouting at me. Finally moving on from my own bias and looking at the situation from a wider perspective, this is just me, I've talked to other people with similar experiences, these are the people who have stuck around, how many people has jmooresy bullied off the server before the got a chance to explore it? With the events that took place and in the lead up to the ban jmooresy was known to be a nuisance, but went over the line truly with the doxxing. To upload a ban appeal 6 days later stating to have changed, while hanging around in diverge general in my personal opinion shows a lack of growth and learning and more of a desperate plea and bargaining to try and claw his way back in without fully taking on the consequences of what he has done, without thinking about now others may feel about him being back, especially those who has harassed and ultimately doxxed, minor or not it's a complete arsehole move and I would be disappointed with the higher ups of the server if a ban was lifted so soon for behaviour that is hurting the servers player base at an ooc level. If you're reading to this point jmooresy, I do feel bad for you, I get you've spent a lot of time and money creating friendships and community on the server but I do think you need to reflect on how you make others feel before you open your mouth sometimes, not even as a staff member but as a player too, I have to give it to you recently you were becoming less cuntish but once again you've only got yourself to blame for the events that happened which lead us to your ban.

As many of you may have noticed, there has been a noticeable rise in criminal activity committed solely for the purpose of obtaining felony status and gaining access to certain benefits. I agree with the benefits, as felons can no longer legally own a firearm license or carry a firearm without committing a crime. However, there should be a system in place that allows criminal faction members to access those same products and equipment without having to rely on receiving a felony charge. The Idea: - Felons receive a 25% or 50% discount on products that were previously locked behind felony status; - Felons receive +1 extra unit when crafting equipment that was previously felon-locked. These products and equipment also become available for criminal factions to purchase or craft, without requiring felony status.

Hello! Phones are pretty useless once you get out of the stage of doing random street deals, i personally used one again for the first time today after probably over a year and it got me thinking. I have a few ideas that could make phones more usable. 1. A voice mail system. If your phone call doesn't get answered of connected, allow for a short message to be sent. These can be seen by the person your attempting to call when they next log on, giving them your number and your message. 2. Landlines. This ties in with the first idea a little. Allow business to have a landline phone within their property. They will be able to publicly advertise this number to allow for example, reservations of tables as restaurants, placing orders for firearms at gun stores and stock checks at clothing stores. 3. This idea is a little ambitious but a sim system. Allow users to purchase sim cards to get new numbers instead of buying a whole new phone each time. This can be a physical item that can be swapped in and out of phones. This could allow for more in-depth detective role play if a phone was used in the commission of a crime. ( Also, as a little side idea to make phones more realistic, make some sims more expensive to allow more calls, while this may be seen as annoying i think it could make the role play experience a little more fun, E.G, you run out of calls for the day and need to either pay for more or take the risk of attempting to approach either someone you know or someone on the streets. I am the member of staff that oversaw both PKs. The Colombo one & yours. First of all, when I took the Colombo PK, I didn't check the screenshot properly. I glanced over it, saw the PK reason, and logged it. When I logged the PK, I noticed that whoever took the screenshot didn’t include the F3 of the person giving the orders, which is required. I then disabled the PK status of the guy involved in the Colombo hit, pulled one of your guys into a sit to tell him to redo your orders, and he radioed in telling you guys not to do anything. As he did, Acqwon killed the guy who was awaiting orders. I then set the guy active again after receiving a proper screenshot of the orders. You found him at the park and gunned him down instantly, while Detective Martin Riggs was in the area. He then gunned you down right after. Maybe you should consider doing a safer mob hit and not killing people in front of cops in the future. I spoke to UA, who said I was okay to approve the PK on Acqwon.

Hi I was the admin who approved of your PK. So the clip that was provided to me was you cornering a guy and asking if he wants to see a magic trick. The magic trick would be that everything would go black if he just stood still. You were anxiously looking back and fourth and when he finally stood still you took your chance to attempt to restrain them. He backed up and then shot you which led to your PK. I also checked logs and you were using restraints quite frequently and using them less than every 10 minutes.

Anyway, the main issue with this pk is 1 thing. There *might* be some disagreements about the timing of the fear RP and the timing of him pulling a gun; which came first, but frankly he had guns on him and they were obviously there to mug him and he knew that and he took the risk. Maybe there's a discussion to be had about it, but it's irrelevant. The only thing that is an issue here is one of the muggers is a minge character. The only RP he actually partakes in is baiting cops and shooting them. This appeal is accepted.

Banning admin here, I watched you and your friend drive around and mess with cops for absolutely no reason. Then I kept watching you as you drove around and hit people with your car (killing one civ near Chinatown) and just ramming into other cars constantly. Id like to clarify that he kept coming up to me and calling me names. I never looked for him just so I could kill him. I also never killed him myself, I had always followed server rules during those encounters by hitting him a couple of times.

Not too sure about glory kills - would be cool but kind of breaks the norm of the game. I do however agree with revamping the fighting mechanics. It would be a huge addition to the underground boxing RP that we see in the city from time to time, and probably make it a more frequent thing.
