The escalation rules should be viewed as a shell and starting point, not a rigid checklist. UA looks at the full situation, all factions involved, and all relevant factors before making a determination, including faction size, recent hires, main character status, alt characters, and whether anyone is trying to gain an unfair advantage. The purpose of a lockdown / hire block is to prevent war jumping, temporary recruiting, and alt abuse. It also makes escalation uncomfortable for everyone involved, which should push factions toward a quicker resolution instead of letting the conflict drag out. If someone was actively maining a faction but never formally set it as their main, that is ultimately on the player and their faction leadership. If they were involved enough to be impacted by the escalation, they should have seen it coming and made sure their main was properly set. Leadership also has a responsibility to warn members before things reach that point. A lock can be adjusted or removed if UA believes the specific situation calls for it, but it should not be assumed. Unless UA clearly states otherwise, factions should treat the lockdown and main character requirements as active. In your case, you were scared because you thought Popov was going to PK you, so you left the faction to do hits for Supreme in another faction. Once you realized there was no orders you left the other faction and now are stuck as a civ. watching from the outside. If you want numbers.....at the start of the escalation Supreme had 140 alts(More than any other crim. faction) to Popov 30 alts, for mains there were 25 for Supreme and 13 for Popov...... this was taken into account during the main lock decision.

-1 I rarely speak out this strongly against giving someone another chance, but in this case, I feel it's necessary. Attached I've sent the recent DMs he sent me during the time to which I banned him. Besides that I'd like to say this. While he wasn't the worst staff member we've had, the team is currently running smoothly without him. We shouldn't lower our standards just to add more bodies. This is the Diverge of today, not a few years ago. He was recently banned and continues to disagree with the reasoning behind it. In his forum post, he simply dismissed it as "retarded." He lashes out angrily at anyone who personally disagrees with him. This level of reactivity is unprofessional for staff. Even in his likely response to post, he's likely to push back without any apology or politeness to me whom has been nothing but professional towards him throughout his ban that I administrated in good faith. That should say enough alone. As a staff member who's been here for nearly a year, I have zero notes on my account. He has over 30! A consistent pattern of bans and notes shows a lack of accountability or issues with emotional regulation which are essential for any staff member to have and maintain during their duties.

I'm the professional gambler here and I know for a fact 95% of this community doesn't know how to apply perfect roulette strategy so it's just a random stroke or luck unlike blackjack that requires some sort of skill and user input.

As a cop main, and someone who used to as a detective, before the uniform policy change. It was overpowered. I think the detectives should continue wearing traffic uniform. The guy who made this forum post already retired from the NYPD and lost interest. Deny this anyway. Boom roasted made the right call to restrict detectives. This is MAFIA RP, not cop rp. We are already given larger privileges. Burns and the detectives can suck up and wear their traffic uniforms. If they wanna go PC, then have an operation ready. Ok!

A Greek family would be cool to see on the server. Always wanted a Romanian Gypsy faction, but Greek does check off the Eastern European box quite well. +1

+1 Allholyheaven has a wealth of experience on the server, is commited to gainful RP and overall having a jersey themed crime family is creative and will add flavor to the server. Honestly, everyone says they are sick of Italian factions, yet the only ones around are the ones that have been around from the beginning. The newly made factions always seem to be non italian and it is rare that they stick around. I have lost count at how many black and muslim factions that have been made over the years. And they never seem to last. Not to mention the name is 1980s mafia rp. And it takes place in New York. To new players that have never heard of Mafia RP and is their first time to the server, I guarantee they will be thinking the same thing that I did when I joined. Italian Mafia. That should reinforce the presence of italians in the city. Looking forward to seeing some oldschool RP brought back to the city. In the beginning that was what this server was all about. It has my vote.

Im not gonna lie, I have had an interaction with majority of the people in this group and it was outstanding. I have personally played soccer and been to one of there parks and loved every second of it. I like how they want to be more of a community first faction instead of a crime faction. My overall reaction is a massive plus one +1

+1 Months ago I heard mentions of an African American faction being looked at as a bad idea, due to people treating the ethnicity as a minge platform. (Too many white guys on the server who are too comfortable saying the N-word online, too many people trying to RP Crips and Bloods, etc.) After reviewing the app and the ideas you've presented, it is clear a lot of thought has gone into this application, and how this proposal would be implemented. I appreciate you trying to diversify the faction space, and bringing fresh ideas to the table.

+1 I think the Ruain Collective has so much potential as a faction. I have witnessed how much work and effort has gone into this faction and how much they connect with everyone on the server, they are passionate, fun, and always put roleplay first. The faction as a plan is extremely well thought out, Prodigy answers questions about the proposed faction with diligence and accuracy. Their events are fun and energetic and have brought so many different people together and I think that is crucial to a successful faction.

Everything was so familiar until it actually made sense. I remember you. You were a black guy with the shiny flamingo shirt and pants- buying/selling & trading drugs as a civilian because you hated illegal factions, their hierarchy and you didn’t want to pay kickups. The reasoning behind that is 1) ever since I’ve known you, you’ve hated illegal factions which basically means being alone most of the time and not having fun/interacting with people unless it’s mingey 2) just because Canadian said player time may be corrupted due to steam name error but idk you’ve had the same steam account 3) you didn’t include a server play time in the original faction application you made which means it was most likely “corrupted” a year ago and displayed a time equal to or less than 2 weeks Im neutral, don’t really have a +1 or -1 but you seem like the player type that joins every once in a while because of good old memories, you feel drawn and attached again and again(especially with the new map coming), but in the end you just get bored and leave till the cycle repeats.

Hey man I gotta start off by saying I completely respect your opinion but id like to bring something to your attention. To start off Legacy Enterprise was made over a year ago and was a functioning group before Olympus was even a thing, and to be quite honest I barely know what Olympus is as I've just recently returned to the city and I'm still getting up to date on events. Secondly its meant to be vague as we are both legal and illegal but for the sake of the application we are illegal because I'm almost positive any group seeking out a drug racket is considered illegal. Last thing ill say as well is I put alot of effort into this application and backstory and I believe it shows, so I think its pretty wrong for you to tell me that my faction is made just to be under Olympus witch simply isn't true.
