Hello! As already stated by the PK’ing staff there was a misinterpretation of the ruling. You need either the F3 recognition of someone you are protecting or a group connection. As in the same faction, not an allied faction. As showcased in the clip, the person acting in defense did not have the F3 recognition of the victim. They were also not in the same faction. Your character will be reinstated shortly. As a reminder, the RP around your death will be voided as a result. You can not pursue the killer with IC consequence, the victim may now still pursue you IC if all proper RP is followed as if you had mugged the victim and left that evening. Hello, Why I did the pk: Rule 20 Mugging rules- "i.e. you may not perform vigilante justice and must have a group member connection or F3 of the person you are saving in order for the kill on the mugger to be considered a PK. While intervening, provided you are not being mugged or held under fear rp yourself, you are not at major risk of pk." Which case i interpreted part of the rule as not needing to have the F3 prior to the interaction as long as there was a group connection. (Colombo aiding a Kosher Ally). Why I was wrong: They need to have the F3 prior to the mugging, he was not apart of the RP and inserted himself. Mistakes happen!

While the cop was being unprofessional, that does not grant you a sweeping right to try and kill him. You had multiple courses of action available between IC reporting to IA or OOC reporting to staff. You began a VCWP in an attempt at some sort of vigilante justice which resulted in your death. Officer was kinda just sitting there swinging a baton in the air. You tried to murder him. I wouldnt categorize that has "heavy fail rp" I would categorize that as a silly, odd thing to do. In the future, make a ticket, dont try to murder a cop for being a little odd

While it is there is some evidence to corroborate the issues you have brought up regarding this issue stemming from an OOC argument, this is something that is hard to prove with the current evidence. It really could be either way. BUT, as mentioned earlier in the appeal the issue that was quoted to be the IC reason for your death was in fact voided by staff do to it being a result of character abuse. Therefor the possibility of roleplay continuing from this should not have happened. Ergo no PK should have happened. In my eyes this is the main glaring issue with this PK and the issue that could be definitively used to ascertain whether you would be getting this character back or not. You will be unwhitelisted from the faction, any knowledge you gained from your time in the faction is now null and voided and whatnot. IE No snitching & targeting.
