Hello! So, for further clarification this was not just a rule break based on solely the mugging. This was reported to UA, an investigation was conducted, and multiple major issues were found. Fail Mug - You mugged with several witnesses. Doesn’t matter if only one was directly looking at you as you initiated. You were not in private and had multiple witnesses. Bad. Mugging Char - Your char was deemed as a mugging char as, proved by logs, you purposely switched from your main char that was involved in the RP to mug the health inspector. This was after you were trying to request in rumor for others to mug him. Again, proven by logs. Truthfully, the banning staff was generous here. Count the blessings they gifted you. I completely understand the rule and Im aware of how "its supposed to work" What I'm trying to clarify is that some staff members have been saying the opposite, saying that if someone leaves the faction, they can be PK'd regardless. That is the reason why i created this topic in the first place. Im simply trying to get the situation clarified and have it answered directly by our community manager Canadian so there is no confusion left

basically what dutch said as long as they have done something illegal and touched the racket then if they leave they can be pked, however if they remain a legal char and just order oil for a day or nothing at all they are considered "low risk" according to the rules and thus cant be pked just read over the family pk rules it lays it all out their

Well for those who call it valid whilst its clearly not. Thats why these appeals exist you can appeal when you feel its invalid. They can leave aslong as they havent done anything illegal witnessed or touched the racket.

I'm aware of this rules, but some staff members are claiming that you can PK someone no matter what if they leave the WL. I don't want to name anyone here, but if needed I can provide screenshots showing this. So just to clarify the final point: if they're entry-level associates, not made, and not deeply committed to the organization, and it's just a brand new member who leaves the faction, then you can't issue a PK order for them, correct?

Ever since I started playing on the server, one thing has always seemed unclear: whether leaving a family is a valid PK reason or not. The rules clearly state that doormen and newer members cannot simply be PK'd, but every staff member seems to have a different opinion on where the line is drawn. Some admins have approved my orders and activated PKs for people who left the family without permission, while others have told me the order wasn't valid because the person never touched the racket or got involved in illegal activities (such like growing weed, using barge NPC etc..) I'm not here to argue my personal opinion on the matter. I just want a clear answer because the rulings seem inconsistent depending on who handles the ticket. So, Is leaving a family without permission a valid PK reason, or not? @Canadian-bacon Sorry for the ping, but it'd be great if we could get a direct answer from you and finally clear this up once and for all.

I was the only staff member involved in the initial Dons Order's. This is a pretty messy situation. I spoke with the person DopeAsRoe put orders on post-death and questioned him why he did what he said "I have worked at Guerini's for a while I know how they set these things up." "I could tell by the way Charlie was speaking to me they were going to kill me". Now I have no indication of his previous roles within the family because he is 1. Kicked and 2. I'm not well versed in Bruno rank structure. During a hit you are at risk of being PK'd yourself if you aren't careful. I personally had nothing to do with your death besides setting the man PK active at your faction leaders request. It is up to UA's interpretation of the situation. In my opinion he was very vague during the sit and if your claims are true that he didn't have any of these roles and never partook in setting somebody up to die then this is a pretty open and shut case of schizo associates gone rogue and RDMing at the worst times.

okay so it was from multiple days ago which was approved by the staff member who I believed had it approved with UA that it was valid. I initiated it in a yellow zone. brought dude to a red zone and mugged him within the rules. I dont see why multiple days later I get banned without being pulled or anything when I was active waiting on a shipment for one of my customers.

i am saying this with complete honesty i will not be biased just cause he is the same age as me i think he would be a great staff member. people keep saying he shouldn't be dealing with how people are in the server but he's a LT while underage in pd he hears the bad comments and criticism already just like i have i actually fear worse but yet he still doesn't lash out or rage at anyone and that's a strong suit i see for him being staff cause for staff i see you need to keep your calm regardless and i feel he can do that. also people keep mentioning how his brother is captain and staff i my self dont see thus relevant he earned LT and for the people out there saying he's immature ive seen him be more mature than some of you full grown adults being just unreasonably rude to some one just trying to enjoy their time on the server. but overall he gets a +1 from me
