What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * I notice a lot of people minging late at night or early in the morning due to most staff members sleeping around that time and I usually stay on or hop on during those times depending on the day. I been playing diverge since 2022 and I would like to help out the server in any way I can. I want to keep up RP in the sever and when the server is popping I can help out with taking tickets so people can be comped faster and go back to Rping. I been playing since 2022 I have had experience on the server and RPing. I can manage a sit well because I have delt with customers as a manager in fast food. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would swap to my staff char and then take the ticket. If for any reason I can't because im in a middle of a rp event I would ask if any other staff member could take the ticket for me. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would gather clips of the abusing and send it to so me one higher. I would also talk to them before to see if they know if what they were doin gis abusing and wrong and try to help them out for the future but if it keeps going on I would report it. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I wouldn't take the ticket unless theres no other staff and DM a higher up or another staff member to be a third person in the ticket and ask for their opinions after sending them both clips.

+1 From me I like the backstory of a family being pushed into crime and trying to stay true to themselves at the same time. While other family's are liberal in killing, robbing and spreading corruption. This one seems to cling to its moral code and religion making it more reserved and purposeful when something huge is done like murder, again big +1 from me we really do need an Arab crime family since we lost the only one a few months ago

-1, Does not have enough playtime, Backstory is a bit barebowns, also a Palestinian faction could be pretty interesting but this doesn't really go into much detail, and Palestinian faction could be a genuinely good faction with the correct people running it instead of anther lame minge faction. I think the player should continue playing under whatever faction he's currently in and then return and attempt to create a faction later on.

I think you misunderstand; there's not a lot of legitimate uses you have for staff powers that you can use in character; outside of building which you really should be doing in the sandbox server, you can't do much of anything with your staff powers that will not give you an inherent advantage for example, in the situation I talked about someone having welded a couch to his lamborghini, that looks pretty innocent from an outside perspective, but mechanically; 1. you cannot do damage to anybody on the couch without shooting their seat spot specifically, and that would be pretty hard to do at the speeds a lambo can go: 2. it could potentially block shots or be picked up by a minge (this, as in, when you hold out your hands and right click on a prop that is light enough, you can pick it up and wave it around); this would end up getting the car fucked with and prop abused 3. it looks retarded, yeah, funny, but it's retarded and it'll make people feel obligated either to be retarded about it or get pissed that somebody welded a couch to a lamborghini and staff let it slide henceforth, staff abuse should always be taken seriously, no matter how light or minimal it might seem; that shit can really fuck up any in character situation

As Toast already spoke on this was a Don's Orders PK. So the question comes down to the validity of the orders and why they were given. So the first claim, speaking of the faction in government tickets which are IC unless stated otherwise. You did mention the faction in your firearms ticket and then edited your message after you were helped by a member of HC which is how they knew about it, so, valid. The second reason was also you speaking in a way against the rules of your faction in another IC channel. Discord can be used as IC evidence depending on where you are speaking. In the future I highly recommend you understand if a channel is IC or OOC. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this PK to be reasonable and/or justified. Mangos has already discussed the rules around violence with cops that can result in PKs. For your situation, whether it was a false arrest or not is generally handled IC via court hearings or IA reports. If it was powergame it would be a staff issue and the proper response would be to make a ticket, not attempt to RDM the officer for a misdemeanor arrest. At the end of the day, you started a violent conflict with police and lost which has resulted in your character being PKd. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. It was OOC information usage - if you look at the conversations that were in "gov chat" you will understand that these were OOC conversations only. I even talk about the fact that the staff allowed me to change my name. And I deleted the message in IC straight away, so they didn't even see it. So why exactly did they PK me? incomprehensible...... Actually for no reason, and following information from OOC - which actually proves MG here

You were killed for bringing unwanted attention to the 14k Triad by talking about drugs in IC chats and talking about working at the 14k Triad in a firearms ticket. This could lead to police investigations and other sorts of legal trouble which is why they had you killed. You accept the risks when you join a criminal faction and should read their faction rules when you join to avoid situations like this.

In my time it wasn't, and I didn't know it because it wasn't explained to me. I didn't blame you, all in all the picture from the conversation with you proves that I had no idea. In addition to the fact that they used the information that was in OOC against me in IC which is illegal by the way

I messaged you because you asked people to make drugs with you in our ic-general chat as seen below Knowing you were a returning player I tried to be helpful about you not making dumb decisions,. as you can see from the times you obviously know what message I was referring to because you deleted it 2 minutes after. All in all, why you lying? my message was to inform and help you out and now you learned discord chats CAN be used IC cause you're dead.

I would say this is a decent application, only real things Im concerned about is your play time as I am not able to confirm when you first joined. Afaik being inactive for a long enough time will reset your play time. Also the application makes me feel like your doing an ad for skittles.

There are some other parts of the long answer questions that could be touched on, but for the most part they show you understand, but they are just short and to the point. However the part I quoted, Ill give you the same advice I had given on another application. Say the ticket is made by someone you dont know and the person who RDMd is your friend, youve already taken the ticket, how would you proceed without holding a biased opinion? These types of tickets do happen and knowing how to handle them in a unbiased manner is important.
