I think someone is a widdle bit gwumpy about not getting his way in ESU. Logic_Nova may be the child but he's not the one that acted like one.

+1 This guy, despite how dumb Bambi Zucchini was, does really good RP, and there are very few people who would be better at interpreting rules and determining the proverbial wheat from the chaff
-
+1 This guy follows the rules and does good RP. Not much higher of a standard could be wanted.

-1 Everyone loves Howie, I think he's a great dude, and I know that he is capable of good RP, and I also believe that he probably has better judgement than most people entrusted with being staff. On the other hand, I can't give a strong +1 here because most of what I see you do is minge or at least minge-spectrum activity; most of what I see from Howie is trying to get a ruse out of people, copbaiting, and generally other mingey activities. I understand that Howie is well liked, and he is a likeable person, but I believe a person's roleplay history should be at the front of determining if someone should be staff, and in this department, despite his capability, he has spent the majority of his time minging, copbaiting, getting PKed and creating a "new" (slightly different) character to do the same exact thing on, and despite his likeability, contributing to the overall enshittification of roleplay and arguably the server. Howie is fun to be around, but will Howie warn or ban people for copbaiting when it's what he spends half his time doing? Will Howie warn or ban people for being PKed, then assuming the same role in their family (which he has done), for making a character with an analogous name to do the same RP? I don't believe so, and, if so, would it not be hypocritical for him to do so while doing those things himself. I have had good times with Howie, but being likeable doesn't excuse the reality of what he does here, I think the mere tolerance of serial minges is a step that has turned Diverge closer to DarkRP than was ever intended, and if we make anyone who minges on a constant basis staff, we might as well merge communities with TitsRP.

Good thing I pulled my gun out before the guy in front of me issued any commands. Plus, if they had been coordinated better and weren’t spazzing out, running all around like speds and shouting in Discord (just a guess but probably 100% correct) then they outnumbered us and could’ve put 2 armed men per person which would’ve put us under Fear RP anyways. I am not above taking a mugging on the chin but unfortunately everyone spazzes out and uses chaos to shoot first and get bodies dropped before asking questions later. State of play.

Rule Suggestion: Prohibit mugging while not wearing any clothing "White Shirt"
Trak replied to Console's topic in Suggestions
Why Sonny and Smokes didnt insta pull out guns when Rain and then pulled up is beyond me. That was their own dumb fault and not due to any server rules. -
You can make as many arguments as you want, but the server rules are clear. You're not a Detective and as a Patrol Officer you can't respond to situations while wearing a white shirt. Even if you do the rules explicitly state that, because you weren't in the proper uniform your involvement cannot result in a PK

I never said he was the one who shot you. I was the one who shot you and there's no way the Rockefeller NPC could have witnessed me initiating the mugging inside the alleyway

Neither of these are conflict I just needed to get ammo and get into position. I was, in fact, part of an event as I'd spawned my stuff and I was going to be participating and was getting ready to get ammo and get to a starting location and I was not actively participating, as I didn't have the uniform which is what is the deciding factor of that event. Everyone was part of the event. Except for you, you were murdering people apparently. Which then postponed my having fun in the event. This screams to me, "I knew the event would prevent my capture, so I did it". Then a "wtf the guy who got me was partaking in an event, and cant catch me." This is in conflict with eachother. You chose to do this during an event, knowing that officers would be otherwise pre-disposed. It just so happens we had one officer available, the only other officer in the city. You decided to shoot at him, thinking that I was pre-disposed in an event, which I took a brief period before starting up to get someone to handle you. I arrived just to make sure you didn't shoot him, which you did and you got your shit one tapped.

Ok then let me tell you why this is dumb. Bait and Confuse Victims: You should not be flagrantly refusing to be mugged because of your OOC belief that it's a whiteshirt. Roleplay it. Assume its a real guy. I've never heard this in my entire time as staff, someone going "Well I thought it was a fail mug because they didnt have expensive clothes". Usually people who are mugging people are wearing nothing or wearing clothing store outfits, both of which you would assume is a new person if you aren't aware of their identity. Having clothes on doesn't change the dynamic. But, more on that - Risk - They are risking their character. Not wearing expensive clothes *to a mugging* doesn't actually mean anything for the risk. Unless they gave their clothes away *prior to the mugging*, which is actually still allowed so long as it doesn't come back to them. It really doesn't matter. None of this actually matters. If it's a fail mug, it gets reversed, we get the items back, if they're unrecoverable because its on an individuals person and they refuse to relinquish, we pk the char and just spawn you new clothes. You taking a decided risk to shoot at someone during a mugging is just short sighted, low IQ behavior and completely on you. Don't shoot at someone during a mugging on the chance that it's "A new player, and it will be reversed." If you're going to take that gamble, you're going to lose that gamble. Literally everybody who gets mugged ever immediately thinks its a "Mugging char" or a "Fail mug", as noted by every single ticket that is made in the aftermath of a mugging. Every single one. "Can you check if this is a mugging char, he had shitty clothes on" or whatever, the exact same logic you're using. But those people aren't dumb enough to risk their character on a hunch because of a perpetrators fashion choices.

The Problem: Right now, players are initiating mugs while completely unclothed, leaving them in the default "White Shirt" state. Because our rules already state that actual fresh spawns cannot mug, seeing someone in a white shirt creates confusion. Players are abusing this by intentionally removing all of their clothing to: Bait & Confuse Victims: They trick people into thinking they are harmless new spawns who aren't allowed to mug, exploiting that false sense of security to pull off an easy robbery. Zero-Risk Criminality: They risk absolutely none of their actual clothing items or gear other than a gun if the mugging goes wrong and they get killed or caught. Honestly it's just bad rp, being white-shirt is like being naked and requires no effort. The Proposal: Make it an official rule that players must be actively wearing clothing to initiate a mugging. If a player is not wearing any clothing items (meaning they are in the default "White Shirt" state), they are prohibited from robbing other players. If a player uses restraints on another player, they cannot change or remove their clothing for the entire duration that the situation is active like it is already the case when they take damage. Other players who did participate in the mugging should not be allowed to leave the situation while being a white shirt until they reach a safe spot. Server Precedent: We already know this state causes issues because during the last Racket Reshuffling Event, players in white shirt were not permitted to participate. The staff team already recognized that the default white shirt state disrupts competitive fairness and clarity. We should simply extend that exact same logic to daily server life regarding muggings and hostile RP.

You didn’t make any demands of me. You turned away/pole down when I pulled my gun, which I waited for- just in case, and you made a command AFTER I had it pulled. Argue til you’re blue. I know the facts and that they were talking to Sonny and that I wasn’t involved. Only one dude on me wasn’t commanding me, 15-20 feet from everything. This PK is completely bogus. My failmug ticket was ignored, my video/perspective wasn’t taken into consideration, and my PK was issued before my ticket was closed. Unless an Admin asks for more information from me, which I doubt, I’ve stated my truths. I’ll wait for a response and pray for fairness.

You were also being mugged you idiot, you just werent the "main" target. We wanted nothing to do with you but you were being mugged for the sake of our security. I told you very clearly dont fucking move, you pulled your gun and kept moving. Therefore you died. Keep fuming.
