Causes too many problems on the server, not a friendly or likeable person. LQP for sure. -1

No hate on our past together, not replying to be demeaning in any way but to be honest I really don’t think your at point in ur diverge playtime to be considered for staff, your understanding of the rules is all over the place and I’ve witnessed you on multiple occasions starting conflict over the littlest insults towards yourself along with just being a bias driven person in general, anyways good luck -1

+1 This man is always on, great guy, would make a good staff member

In-Game Name(s): - Tony Vallone - Andy "Grim" Ryder -DeMarcus "Jamal" Blackson -Officer Marco Grimes • Steam Name: secret • Steam Profile Link: Profile Link • Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:439522528 • Discord Username: xsfqn • Age: 20 • When did you first join the server: 25 August 2024 • Total playtime on our Servers: 850 hours (1M, 4D, 21H) • Time Zone: GMT +3 • How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: I think i can comfortably dedicate 20–30 hours a week • Have you read the rules?: Yes • Do you have a working microphone?: Yes • Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets?: Yes • Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: No, but I’m open to learning them if needed. • Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * I’ve been roleplaying on the server for over 1.5 years and really enjoy being part of the community. Over time I got curious about how things work behind the scenes and how staff handle everything. That curiosity drives me, and I also like helping other players whenever I can, which is why I decided to apply + To be honest, after losing my two main characters with a total of 750 hours, I kinda lost my drive to roleplay. But I feel like becoming staff could give me a new responsibility and hobby, and that’s my biggest motivation for applying. • Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I believe two things set me apart. First is my Time Zone and availability, Im based in Europe, so late nights and early mornings on the server are normal hours for me. During these times, when staff presence is limited, I can step in to help players and support the community, which I think gives me an edge over other candidates. • Do you have any previous staffing experience?: Back in 2016 and 2017, during the DarkRP era, I played on a lot of European servers and even got the chance to be a long term staff member. However, compared to Diverge, I’ve never held a staff role on a big server or any platform worth mentioning before. • Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: Yes, I have been banned before. The first time was when I had just joined the server and killed someone who was trying to mug me. I didn’t use Medal or a similar tool to prove it, so I couldn’t defend myself and was banned for RDM and lying to staff. Later, in 2025, I made one of my biggest mistakes by joining an RP with people I didn’t know, which got me a 3-week ban. After that, I read and memorized all the rules, and I went a whole year without any bans. Recently, after losing my 500 hour and 250 hour characters, I mugged someone with my last remaining character. Staff considered it insufficient RP for my account and counted it as a mugging character, which led to my third and final ban. I want to add that I have learned the necessary and valuable lessons from my mistakes, and these bans have made me a more skilled and knowledgeable player. You can be confident that these mistakes will not be repeated, and if you give me a chance, I promise to put in the effort to prove that to you. • Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: * I’d say I’m pretty well known in the community. Over the years, I’ve been part of a bunch of different families and made a lot of friends, but also some people who don’t really like me or aren’t happy about my presence. Some players genuinely like me, some don’t, and I’ve always treated people the way they approached me. I also want to make it clear that what others think or say about me doesn’t affect the choices I make or the way I act. • What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: 1 - The Racket event of ’89, which was intense and chaotic, really memorable RP. 2 - Becoming a Made Man in the French Mob, an amazing milestone that made me feel more connected to the community. 3 - The Racket event of ’90, another high energy experience that kept me on my toes and gave me some of the best RP moments. • Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: Winchester, Hammer, vel0city and GALAXY ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I know that Diverge staff don’t like when active admins interfere in scenarios they’re part of, so if I’m off-duty I’d handle it like any other player: I’d record a clip, submit a ticket, and wait. If the player is doing something like MRDM or MVDM that’s ruining other players’ experience and there’s no other active staff, I’d step in myself. Otherwise, I’d submit a ticket or report it through the forum’s player report section if needed. • You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I’d gather all necessary information about the rule being broken and collect proof, like clips and screenshots. Then, if needed, I’d report the situation to the upper administrators (UA) and submit a report through the Staff Report section. • A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I think the most important thing for a staff member is not letting personal feelings affect their decisions. Whether it’s a friend or someone you don’t like shouldn’t matter. I’d look at the situation, treat every player fairly, and make sure the right action is taken no matter who it is. Additional Note: I am aware that I have had conflicts with several members on the server in the past, and I acknowledge that my mistakes and issues may inevitably influence this application. However, I want to assure everyone that if I am given a chance, I will make the most of it and contribute to the server to the best of my ability. Furthermore, I genuinely value all feedback from the community. Whether positive or critical, I see it as an opportunity to learn, improve, and act fairly. I am committed to listening carefully and taking all perspectives into account to foster a supportive and professional environment.

Add more roleplay animations! (Roleplay QoL Update?)
Medinator replied to Draqo2x's topic in Suggestions
As Calink said ive seen emotes in which you can lean against the wall with your arms crossed, sitting on chairs/floors in different positions, etc etc it really goes actually go really hard and does add so much RP potential we constantly see people use /anims ALL the time in different situations to add some value to the moment, adding more emotes will undeniable be used a ton by the community and loved a lot of suggestions that suggest something like this spew retarded shit but this one nails it in the direction it shoudl be -
Do you think this might have been the result of him not having his active status removed after he was put through witness security? This happened to me and it was reversed immediately. Changing name and face out of public record is supposed to also have your active status revoked until they're able to prove it.

I agree! It would make things feel a lot more realistic, and dynamic in roleplay scenarios. -

Yeah to literally all of these Would be awesome I think there's probably some bullshittery behind the scenes reason that makes it challenging but i'd love to see non-fortnite emote animations for roleplay stuff, like being able to lean, maybe like have your hands on a table, drink a whiskey glass etc. -
No, I'm sitting in a dead server, bored out of my mind. I've nothing better to do, so I figured I'd try to make some contributions to the forums, I apologize my technical writing is a bit bleak.

I think the server could greatly improve immersion by expanding the available roleplay animations. Instead of needing to create entirely new animations from scratch, it might be worth looking into pulling animation data from frameworks like Clockwork HL2RP or similar Source RP schemas that already have large animation libraries built out. A lot of these frameworks already support things like: Smoking animations. Wall leaning. Notebook writing. Radio use. Searching/patdowns. Injured idles. Sitting variations. Hand interactions. (handover/receive) Investigation poses. Since these already exist within the Source animation sets, it may just be a matter of integrating or porting the animation tables rather than creating entirely new ones. This could save development time while still expanding RP expression. Why this would help: Right now most interactions are just characters standing still during conversations. More available animations would allow players to show emotion, status, and intent through body language instead of only text. This would especially benefit: Mafia meetings. Police investigations. Business RP. Interrogations. Street interactions. This could allow Diverge to quickly expand RP immersion without major development overhead. The goal wouldn't be feature bloat, just giving players more tools to visually roleplay and make interactions feel more alive. Please give your thoughts on the matter below, your opinion is valued and appreciated. Thank you.

There's a physics bug in the alley section where the ground transitions from a slope into a flat area (the section with the manhole cover). When walking across this spot, player movement suddenly changes and it feels like you're standing on a sloped or low-friction surface even though the ground appears flat. Walking over the flat patch causes your character to slide forward/abruptly stop. You cannot immediately stop moving/sliding until you leave the area. Movement feels like you're hitting a hidden ramp or ice surface. Vehicles react like they hit an invisible object or bump. Likely cause: This looks like a collision issue rather than a visual bug. The ground mesh is probably slightly misaligned, has overlapping collision, or a bad displacement seam. The physics collision likely isn't perfectly flat even though the texture is, which causes the engine to treat it like a slope. If rebuilding isn't possible, placing a properly aligned nodraw collision brush over the problem area could smooth out the physics and prevent sliding. These can help confirm the issue: vcollide_wireframe 1 mat_wireframe 1 cl_showpos 1

Haven't had any issues with him, seems like a decent person from what I've heard.
