That's a good point honestly. I wouldn't see vehicle theft the same way as mugging though since most of the time the person stealing the car isn't even interacting with the owner directly. It's more like stealing property than holding someone up. Usually the owner isn't even there, and the police already get the alert once the car gets reported stolen because of the tracking system. If the owner of their faction later tracks down the person who stole it, I'd see that more as a separate RP situation that develops from it rather than it automatically being treated like a robbery situation. I think the bigger risk for the criminals would come from things like getting caught while removing the tracker, being found at a chop shop, or police responding while the car is still traceable. The main idea behind the suggestion was really just to give vehicle theft an actual purpose and create longer RP chains instead of people just stealing cars and ditching them a few minutes later.

I like this but what punishment would you suggest if a crime faction catches and kills a person who stole their car? If there is a benefit for the thief this could be considered mugging therefore a PK for dying during the robbery.

I’ve been thinking about how some current mechanics could lead into deeper criminal gameplay if they were expanded a bit. Right now we can lockpick vehicles, but realistically the only thing people do with stolen cars is drive them around for a bit and then ditch them. It feels like the mechanic is there but it doesn’t really lead anywhere. Since vehicles can already have premium tracking, once a car is reported stolen the police automatically get the vehicle description and location. That part works well because it creates a reason for police to respond. The problem is criminals don’t really have a next step besides abandoning the car. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vehicle Theft → Tracker Removal → Chop Shops One idea would be allowing stolen vehicles to be brought to hidden mechanic spots or illegal garages where players can attempt to remove the GPS tracker. The removal could take some time, meaning the car's still traceable while criminals are working on it, giving police a chance to intercept. If the tracker is removed successfully, the vehicle could then be taken to a chop shop. At the chop shop, players could dismantle the car and receive things like: scrap materials illegal vehicle parts a payout depending on the vehicle This would turn vehicle theft into an actual criminal loop instead of just a temporary joyride. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Black Market Buyers Stolen goods could then be sold through black markets buyers. These could be NPC buyers that appear in rotating locations around the map and purchase things like: vehicle parts stolen electronics jewelry contraband Because the location moves, criminals would have to transport the goods across the city instead of selling everything in one place. This also gives police opportunities for surveillance, stakeouts, or interceptions. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cargo Truck Robberies Another idea that could fit well would be cargo truck robberies. Delivery trucks moving goods across the city could be intercepted by factions. Players would need to: hijack the truck secure the cargo transport it somewhere else to sell Police could receive alerts like cargo theft in progress or hijacked delivery vehicle, which would create moving situations instead of static robberies. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- High Value Transport Robberies A similar system could work with armored vans or jewelry shipments traveling between locations. Factions could attempt to intercept the transport while police respond to protect it. This would naturally lead to bigger RP situations and vehicle pursuits. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall Idea The goal isn't just adding more crimes, but creating connected criminal activities. For example: steal vehicle → remove tracker → chop car for parts → sell parts to black market buyer or intercept cargo truck → steal goods → transport them somewhere else → sell through the black market This kind of system would encourage planning, teamwork, and longer RP chains, while also giving law enforcement more situations to investigate and respond to.

Honestly it’s hard to believe. That’s wild that you had that much custom clothing. Like bro what the fuck? That much custom clothing? Are you for real? Wow, that’s a lot of custom clothing. An insane amount of custom clothing. And I can’t believe you shared this information with us willingly. Holy.
-
“but I simply utilize it as a way to roleplay and make money” >mugs someone wearing 0 custom clothing

Allow for us to "ctrl f" inside our banks, for example, you can search hat and it will highlight all the items that have the word hat in its name This would make looking though banks that have lots of items with the same model such as clothing or oil/meth/acid much easier

I won't post the clip of him pulling me over and mentioning that due to privacy concerns but it's up to you to take my word on it.

+1 I have known them for a long time, and even though our relationship hasn’t always been perfect, I cannot overlook how they have consistently tried to help me and contributed to my understanding of right and wrong. I believe that sharing this quality with other players would benefit the server and set a positive example, which is why I am giving a +1.
-
This clip is also a bit silly. It doesn't even show the part where he pulls you over, the main issue. You just briefly mention it.

No hate here, just the facts and you know this better than I do

I'm sorry but that seems a bit hypocritical from you velocity.

-1 Ngl since coming back you have mostly mugged, you even made your nickname "top mugger". From most of our points you play to mug not to roleplay. Nothing personal as I think your pretty chill when I have spoke to you but you have a serious mugging problem think its time for Muggers Anonymous

-1 First of all, I have to admit that I found it quite amusing that you decided to list your age as one year older in your staff application. That alone already says quite a lot about your level of maturity. At the end of the day, you’re still just a high school student, and from what I’ve observed, you seem to spend more time mocking other players and getting involved in pointless arguments than actually contributing anything meaningful to the community. On top of that, asking your friends or people around you to support your application with +1s doesn’t exactly make you look any more credible. If anything, it only reinforces the impression that you’re more interested in attention and validation than in actually taking responsibility. Because of this, I genuinely don’t think someone with your current level of maturity is suitable for a staff position. A staff member is expected to represent fairness, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm and respectful even in difficult situations. From my perspective, you still have quite a lot to learn before you’re ready for a role that carries that kind of responsibility. And to be completely honest, I highly doubt that a server like Diverge Networks, which aims to maintain a certain level of quality and professionalism, would seriously consider adding someone to their staff team who constantly looks for opportunities to be toxic and mock other players instead of helping maintain a healthy community environment. The fact that all four staff members you listed are in the same family as you is already quite a joke :D. ( Boosted, Dopeasretired, Schmekles, Lunar, ) Your Don, Your Underboss, Your Capo, And Your Senior Streetboss You’ve written a story claiming you won’t show bias, but I’m more than confident that once you’re on staff, you’ll become the king of bias. NOTE: And before you start making fun of it, yes, I used ChatGPT for this text because I felt the need to carefully explain in my own language just how pathetic and pitiful of a person you are.

I just don't think someone who holds grudges across characters is suitable to be in a position to handle administrative situations

-1 I generally do not go out of my way to issue a -1 or attempt to negatively impact someone’s chances. However, you are one of the very few individuals who have managed to push me to such response. After reviewing the clip I have attached, it is difficult to understand how you would currently be suitable for a staff position. It clearly shows your inability to stay professional in a roleplay environment let alone a staff situation. Grow up and stop thinking you are an actual Streetboss. Bruno-Shitarfo (The IA Incident)

+1 I have witnessed several more times actions that show this person does roleplay and cares about the server, and I know how valuable this character is to him. I think it’s a ridiculous ban because the staff dislike people who mug others, since it’s obvious that his character is not a mugging-type character.
