Disrespecting Made people after being warned not to and acknowledging that you were warned not to is one of those rules. When you join a faction you agree to abide by the rules of the faction and that you can be killed for any reason and at any time basically.

Hello. As you said yourself and as shown in the provided clip, the officer was attempting to arrest you and you retaliated by attempting to kill the officer by stabbing them and ended up dying as a result of it. On this server that is grounds for a PK. This is not staff punishment, there is no second chance here. I suggest you read through the PK rules/guidelines to get a proper grasp on how PKs go about on this server.

Small quality of life improvement: Change the liquid meth icon and world prop to the blue barrel to avoid it getting mistaken w/ oil barrels.

Now that Police make actual consistent money we can introduce pricing variations based on this, to actually put thought and cost behind the gear you take at, it's very much a time in time out system. It also just makes more sense that the higher rank a cop is the better gear he/she can use and afford, as they receive better pay. It just generally balances the server out more. The only valid argument against it is that weapons are wasted during trainings, which is a fair complaint, but the LTs can simply acquire/request a training budget from their PD HC board, 10 to 20k for a single training with a dozen or more officers is doable. That being said balance is achieved via trial and error. PD prices over the last week have changed as follows: 1st change: Slight increase (no one noticed) 2nd change: Larger increase (This was noticed) 3rd change: Slight decrease (This was not noticed) 4th change: Another decrease (Hasn't been pushed yet) Also going to increase the weekly pay cap from 70k to 100k It's about finding a good middle ground, and I think that with the 4th change it's been found. More PD and criminal balancing updates (unrelated to lockers) to come.

Nobody at all is suggesting not to RP. Just that there should not be some mechanical game feature to PK someone. Is it really that hard to drill into your mind? That in a Mafia RP, nobody wants potions like it’s D&D? That there’s already a variety of melee and ranged options for killing someone who is active? Roleplay is hardly mechanical. At some point, the “game” part is more relevant. We already have different ammo types, and most of what you’ve said here is already shit you could conceivably roleplay with people’s consent or some foresight. Being poisoned has to be the lamest shit ever in this format. I can’t believe anyone would get behind it. Truly sinister, metagame-heavy shit right there.

I enjoy the idea of low level tasks/jobs you can repeat as a civ that give small amounts of cash but overall serve as a teaching tool for new people in the City to learn different areas and their names, etc. but the delivery job does a small piece of that. Done more thoroughly and dynamically, this could be good. I disagree with the criminal side of this. I disagree with any tiers or leveling to this, and am against a way for advancement or to make any feasible amount of money. Yes, it’s a video game. We need to game-ify certain systems to make it work and Hell, make it fun. But anything that can be used to make someone think, feel, and fabricate/extrapolate their character having a certain level of experience in the city (outside of a well written backstory) or anything to give them a fat stack of cash defeats the entire purpose of roleplay or going to a faction to make money. This, to me, overall challenges the entire point of RP which is a social and multiplayer experience. However, a good and thorough system in play to make the world alive, give dynamic options for early level work, and primarily teach people about the City would be a great asset. Very soft +1

If a ticket was made, I would Bring the Player to the skybox and ask for video evidence of the occurrence happening and review it. If the video provides Rdm proof, I would then bring the player that committed the Rdm Check to see if he has prior notes/warnings. If No notes I would verbally explain the situation and warn the player if he it's an ongoing occurrence then would use the proper punishment. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Clip what was happening and bring it to the attention of a high up staff member. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: If there was no other staff available in the city I would Punish them as I would anyone else Break the rules there is punishment to be had. if there was proof of the person I know doing the rule breaking they would get the same treatment as anybody else.
