I understand what you're saying and that is sorta how the clip appears at first. It I had a full clip of the whole experience, it would show two of my other associates role-playing buying a suit. But, only a part of it was fully clipped. It would show us doing /me's and asking questions in the process, which can be shown in the logs as well. Hopefully this helps to get further insight on the clip. I understand it was cut short.

Honestly, Hans, I have no personal problem with you, but the ONLY "Roleplay" I have seen from you is sitting at the garrison for hours at a time and then going out and mugging 5 people a night, at least thats how its been conveyed to me and what I've seen through various clips. Just because you use this character for roleplay SOMETIMES doesnt mean its not a mugging character when in 6 separate staff members opinions (who this was discussed between) your express purpose on the server is mugging.

Hello, To respond, I'm not claiming that I am the best roleplayer on the server by any means. I admit that mugging can get excessive at times, but I simply utilize it as a way to roleplay and make money. As mentioned, I have made a great effort to dial it back and make money in conventional ways on my roleplay character (drugs, oil, etc.), but I also like to diversify my money making as, in my opinion, grinding all the time can get very, very boring. I sometimes struggle with the constant pattern and cycle of grinding drugs, so I utilize mugging every once in a while to make money-making more engaging for me or the other person I'm mugging with. If unbanned, I can promise that mugging will be dialed back even more, most likely to a figure of once a week at most. Thank you for your concern!

+1 I know a lot of people have not met Hans in game but as someone who did not know him before his original perm ban I can say that Hans is one of the most active taka mains I have seen. Yes he mugs a lot but the ban makes absolute no sense, mugging char would imply all he does is mug on that char and provides no RP. However this dude is one of the best hirers I have seen and one of the best role-players in taka. Every time I have seen him in game he will be running the garrison. unban this guy he does not deserve this.

+1 In short, I've known this guy for maybe 1-2 weeks and he's been truthfully one of the most helpful guys on this server. He's helped me with several logistical things, including some technical things on the server that has greatly improved my roleplay. In spite of any apparent wrongdoing, his positives for the server greatly out-weight his negatives. Good luck!

+1 Hans and I have been climbing the ranks together in taka, our numbers have been dropping over the past weeks/months and he's been bringing the numbers up by hiring a shit ton, I've seen him grind shipments, sell guns, even did lawyer rp a few times.

Hello, I would like to start this ban appeal off with my perspective of my roleplay. As far as I have been informed by both the banning staff member and other individuals I have spoken to, the behavior that led to my ban were my statements within the underground advertisement and my issues with mugging. To address my underground advertisement behavior, all I can simply state is that the words said in underground advertisement's do not reflect my character's roleplay. I am man enough to admit that the things I say in the underground advertisements are REALLY, REALLY stupid. Many times, I post before I think about what I really say and, if unbanned, I can promise to improve upon that. Secondly, in accordance to my previous offenses and my "mugging character", my previous permanent ban (unbanned in January 2026) was due to a PD raid, which I apologized deeply for and realize what an idiotic mistake it was. Upon being banned, the individual who banned me claimed that I was "excessively mugging", and also pointed out that in my previous ban appeal, I promised not to mug. In my ban appeal, I stated that I would stop minging, harrassing people, and mugging people. While I can admit that I have mugged while unbanned, I have gone through a great effort to dial back my muggings, along with ensuring that all muggings adhere to all roleplay standards. I would also like to mention that this was all on my main character I've had for years and have followed all the mugging rules to a tea. It is also important to mention that this character has a lot of value, discrediting the idea that I am a mugging character. Subsequently, as mentioned, I have greatly improved my roleplay standards since my previous ban. In my current faction, I have not only created several roleplay situations with friends and other individuals, but I have greatly enhanced my presence in my faction through recruitment. Provided below are several pieces of evidence that show my roleplay since my ban appeal. I am positive that after being given a second chance, I have made much more of a positive impact than a negative impact on both my faction, and Diverge Networks overall. I acknowledge that I have been given a second chance and I understand that my unban may be unlikely, but I would just like to say again that I feel I provide a great amount of roleplay not only to my faction, but to the server overall and that I simply just want one more chance to prove that to the administration of Diverge. Hello! While investigating this appeal we reviewed the clips provided of both interactions as well as damage logs to help establish a timeline. As shown in the first clip provided by Troubled, and reinforced by logs, the officer in fact began the violent conflict when they opened fire on the vehicle. Whether you were trying to hit him or the car doesn't matter. You take that risk as an officer when you shoot a vehicle. Further more, the time between the conflict started by the officer and the shoot out in the motel is just a couple of minutes. Well within Ghost's self defense period and definitely short enough to consider it the same conflict, not a new separate one started by Ghost's shooting. In the future officer I suggest you be fully honest with your PK tickets and not leave out the part where you shot first. Your appeal has been reviewed and accepted. Your character has been reinstated and can be used again.
