I think a solution would be to make the spawners universal to all factions instead of per faction and then having a spawner at every parking area or DOP could pick places to put them You would then have to actually purchase through DOP which helps with RP a little instead of several random spawners appearing out of nowhere

Let's be honest; not everybody has a powerful computer or has good internet. Sometimes, when a player tries to connect to the server, even with all workshop content installed, they get timed out, requiring them to reconnect more than once, which is inconvenient. It would be cool to have FastDL and gluapack for faster server loading times.

I mean the slots themselves would take up an area in which any car that enters is despawned, factor in the number of businesses that might want a private spawner and there wouldnt be enough space for people who just like to sit in their cars Ontop of that some people might prefer to actually have their car parked and visible instead of needing to be pulled out, owning a 3 mil car and not having anywhere to park it without the risk of getting heckled by a cop or rammed into by some popov retard going 600 mph down the road

I did think about people blocking the pad, but they could just add the same rules the current pads have where the cars get despawned. Also I think this suggestion would fix the limited parking issue since the cars won't actually be parked in the spots, they will just be deposited in neverland until you go back to get them!

This is a good suggestion but legal parking is already super limited around the map and all it would take would be one spastic blocking the pad and you cant get your car out To fix this we need a massive walmart inplace of the theatre with a 100 car parking lot

I don’t know when it was added, but long ago before time had a name, after like 100 people were on the server at once cars were despawned and couldn’t be spawned again until enough people left the server

I been playing on Diverge for over 2 years now and honestly I never really paid attention to whether there was a despawn timer back then or not, but im telling you rn it would turn into a complete shitshow during crowded hours.

We already need to find a BAR adjudicator in game for our pins, why not do the same with this?

Nah, clearly you weren’t there when there wasn’t a despawn timer i ain’t going back to no cars after a certain hour because too many people are in the server

Hello, first i gotta point out there aint really a exact countdown for cars to despawn on the server. when there is more cars out and the server gets laggy asf with high ping/ms/tps, the despawn timer starts getting shorter the more players get online and more cars are currently spawned. If u log in during dead hours in the morning and leave ur car outside, you will notice its barely even despawns at all, and even if it does it takes way longer than usual. (AS I KNOW) your suggestion honestly makes sense and trust me UA would probably love make it happen too, but there is a reason this system exists in the first place. Garrys mod is literally just an old half-life mod and the game is so OLD, so the car plugin (SIMFPHYS) causes insane lag and fps issues for players once too many vehicles are spawned. Since the game is old there is not really many options to fix it up, so the only real solution is clearing unused cars ASAP to keep the server stable. Idk if u ever noticed before but sometimes the server straight up won’t even let u spawn a car and gives that “You can’t spawn a vehicle right now” message in the top right. Long story short the idea is good but realistically its not possible to make it work.

+1 i met tayp forever ago during his time in cassano during that i will say he is a serious roleplayer. he was very into the rp and has since then done many other endeavors etc. i could see him putting in many hours into this server again he was also younger at the time i have genuinely kept in contact with this guy over the year he has been banned and i will say that he is very sorry and has been tryna get unbanned for a long time and has felt bad honestly i think it was a point of boredom lol and he just messed around maybe don't give him admin again LMAO but he is sorry and wanting to get into rp and he does bring good roleplay in this server.
