Hi, Essentially this boils down to the RDM rules on Cops, as well as general escalation standards. there are still times when you can't shoot police and it would be considered RDM. You may not KOS Police for no reason. They must be specifically targeting you or a faction member for arrest/takedown. You may attack Officers if they attempt to Arrest/Detain you or a member of your group, knowing that an arrest or detainment would lead to a FELONY charge (Having illegal guns/drugs/etc.) In this case I do believe personally that the cop was being a bit of a nuisance, and realistically could have simply left the scene, but there was 0 attempt made to arrest, detain or otherwise even gather information by the Officer. Thus, shooting him in the back of the head is RDM. The other factor to consider for me, is your numerous notes for similar Fail Escalation rule breaks, and at least 1 note for Fail Escalation on a cop. If you believe a cop or other player is acting in a way to disrupt or ruin your ongoing roleplay, the correct course of action is to make a staff report in game for NITRP etc.

End of the day it’s Garry’s mod so the faction would function as if any other faction would regarding drug business and other illegal activities and rackets others than killing but contract killing for the most part would be our main focus even if no outside contracts are coming in there will always be contracts from the inside but nowadays a lot of people rather give the risk off to someone else then go out and risk there character or faction in a possible beef due to the outcome of the murder so I don’t doubt that outside contracts will be coming in. To answer your question we will be functioning like a regular faction doing trade deals making friendships with other factions and not just killing that’s why the previous murder inc always failed because they never operated as a faction and were just a spot you could toss your commission Alts in for hits that we never used them for.

Don’t want to be a sub faction for the commission nor do we plan to be a puppet for them or anyone either.

You are calling my response ChatGPT even though I actually use a site called Quillbot, that takes pre-existing paragraphs and allows you to change words, punctuation and sentence structure to further validate what is in this situation, my argument. Since you instantly assumed it was ChatGPT, I can see how you are grasping at straws to try to further invalidate my sentence structure rather than my argument itself. I am sorry that you have simply copy and pasted a response but unfortunately for you my response was not just copy and pasted it was typed out and enhanced by an app that has been around since I was in high school. 2. You have responded twice now and have yet to argue or counter any of my actual points. Your first response was a copy and paste of what was put on someone else's ticket and the second felt more along the lines of you being upset I called that out. I didn't mean to upset you but rather show the amount of effort you are putting out as an admin of a server people spend hours of their life playing and enjoying. 3. As far as your comment on using Quillbot showing how much I care about getting unbanned, I find that its actually quite the opposite. I've scrolled through and looked at other submissions that look like they are typed out by a 12-year-old and have the grammar of someone that is younger than that. I took time out of my day to make sure my ticket was well thought out and genuine, hence why I have yet to see any counterargument. I also spent a lot of time after being banned checking up on this and responding which further shows my attention and care for this matter, not to be shot down because you think a well-structured argument is ChatGPT... 4. As previously mentioned, I was quite literally comped two bricks of heroin and a drug processor by an ADMIN after a server crash on Saturday after explaining to him exactly what was going on, it was comped no questions asked and without need of a clip. There was no "operation" as you stated and the rest of the explanation on that is in the original response if you read through it. To close out, I am very sorry you mistook a well-structured argument for ChatGPT but unfortunately those straws fell. This idea was more or less just trying to add more pros than cons, because as of now nobody really uses or needs to use the pager. The only time I've ever used the pager was when I was doing UC work as a detective. They'll leave their char infront of the NPC and load it to check if anything is new in the NPC

I thought about doing this with other NPCs like drug buyers ultimately the 'novelty' wears off very quick. Especially for players who know the map, people would just have the preset positions memorized and have to run about every day checking which location the NPC is at. Even when sending a notif it sort of defeats the purpose of the teleporting to begin with. Every potential teleport position is limited to public areas that cant be owned or built on. Also with the map updates and other conflicting NPC positions having to re-edit the teleport positions is administratively annoying. When you say sewer NPC characters do you mean people that park a character in a spot then load it to check the NPC? Could always block that with code or make it more annoying. Like 10 seconds of no NPC access to prevent this and other little abuses. (God forbid theres a cooldown between actually switching characters too) Tl;dr doable but it's a hassle and does little to enhance RP imo

This is an idea I’ve had for a while, and I just remembered it because it might be more useful now due to the fairly recent change with NPCs spawning “rare” guns and attachments. It could also give some purpose to a very overlooked item. Currently, the Sewer and Barge NPCs are static, they don’t move at all. With the Barge NPC, this is fairly reasonable, as you want to ensure the map has the best chance of being used and explored. However, with my idea, it could expand the exploration aspect a bit further. My suggestion is to have the Sewer NPC move around every restart. Obviously, he would still have a few regular spots, such as his current location by the fire pit in the sewer. But placing him in a random alleyway somewhere on the map would fit well with how black market dealers should operate. This NPC has been sitting in the same spot for 2 years since I started playing. This idea is inspired by Perp. Whenever their black market NPC moves, players receive a message on their phone. Why not put the pager to use in a similar way? You could add a notification sound, and the black market NPC would page every player with his location at each restart, repeating every time. This would help prevent the need for Sewer NPC characters, and, if you feel strongly about it, the same could be applied to the Barge NPC/chars as well.

I think it's funny that taking damage from drug addiction locks you out of the container with all your drugs

Hello, To clarify, any reactions left on the appeal, regardless of who leaves them, will not affect the outcome. Yes, I did copy and paste parts of the response, as both of you were PKed for cooperating in the same operation. I will not be responding further to either your appeal or your friend’s appeal. My only suggestion moving forward is to stop relying on ChatGPT if you genuinely care about getting your character unbanned. Phrases like "due to a lack of active buyers over several days…" clearly show you didn’t properly review what you were submitting, as that has nothing to do with selling drugs to a vendor. This also makes it seem like you copied and pasted the appeal without reading over it first.

I'm not entirely sure how possible this is but ever since the stashes have been added they have a flawed way of timing you out of your items. The stash will lock you out of it regardless of the reason or way you take damage, it could be car accident, starvation, fall damage, drug addiction or combat between players. How I've thought it over is some how mimic the system weapons, clothes and swapping characters have and detect player combats instead of all of the above. Doing this change would be a massive QoL update for those who actually use stashes (everyone that isn't retarded) saving a little bit of time on top of the 10ish seconds you have wait to actually use the stashes, I see almost no reason not to do this but if there is reason behind this I'd like to know why.

I do see what you mean but the cops are already overpowered as is Because you gotta realize If they're in ESU They get 100% Kevlar When regular officers get like 80 or 90 And they have pocket AR15 and mp5Navy And of more recent times detectives are on a tighter leash So they can't just flood factions with Undercovers

i ain’t reading allat but first off think about how many factions are on a day and compare all of those people to how many people are on cop chars there’s usually 10-20 cops on a day compared to 90-80 mafia members pretty unfair to the police so as it is they are given slight advantages against mafia members
