Hello! I’m the banning admin on this. I’ve gathered the clips, logs, and details below to give full context. Before I get into the matter, I want the player's behaviors to be taken into account. String has been highly toxic since the ban. This includes heavy use of slurs and insults in his appeal, continued insults in general chat, and sending abusive messages in my DMs. While this does not change the facts of the ban itself, it demonstrates a clear lack of accountability and maturity in my opinion. Quick Summary of Events: String cuffed the player and after only 19 minutes and 3 seconds took him straight to the plea NPC and auto-pleaded him on a felony charge. The clip provided by the player shows them disagreeing with String whom is clearly upset and willing to leave the player there or put them in jail. After some short disagreement String simply decides to take it upon himself to auto-plea the player. Towards the end, the player is repeatedly asking for their lawyer and gets forced to take a felony charge due to String filing a conviction. https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/mLvSy8lsd8B9NISW0?invite=cr-MSw1NGksMTU3OTMwNDA0 Per our rules, when a suspect is requesting a lawyer or contesting the arrest, officers are required to do 30 minutes of active RP and get staff approval before auto-pleading. Neither of those happened here. Plea deals are supposed to be offered and signed in the cells, bypassing that and forcing it at the NPC is both RDA and Powergaming. Additional Details: I was unable to locate any ticket made by String about this situation (this is due to when I logged on + likely log restrictions). When I logged in and tried to speak with him about it, he was AFK which was unfortunate but I did give him a little time to come back. This is not his first offense. He has prior bans/notes for similar powergaming and should know better. I consulted with Animator and AceAdmiral before issuing the ban. At the end of the day, frustration with a difficult or minge player doesn’t excuse skipping the required RP timer and staff approval. Officers are held to a higher standard, especially when the suspect was actively trying to engage in the process by requesting a lawyer. I believe the ban and PD blacklist should stay in place but possibly be modified for a proper set of days. To the staff member looking this over, let me know if you need anything else. Hello, PKing admin here~ Looking at the logs, it shows that you dealt damage to a cop, and then the cop killed you immediately afterward. There was no damage dealt to you by the officer or by any other party prior to you shooting the officer. After reviewing the clip, it shows the officer taking his gun off safety while turned away from you. He was not aiming at you, initiating anything, or opening fire. You took no damage, shot a cop, and were then killed by the cop, which is what led me to view this as a valid PK. Good luck with your appeal.

Name of Character: Cristiano "Carl" Moretti SteamID: Steam ID: 76561199235394667 Your Discord ID#: galarbtorb Date of PK: 05/22/2026 Reason for PK: Cop Shootout I was shot by a third party, after seeing the cop back up and click his gun off safe, i took damage, thinking that the cop had shot me, so i thought i was defending myself from rdm, when in reality i was shot by someone else, and the cop ended up killing me, given this info, i didn't fully meant to shoot at the cop unless it was defense to rdm, i didn't wanna lose my gun but it instead turned into losing my char. i cant fully explain any other thoughts behind it, and i can only hope that something else is found, i don't have a clip, and the explanation i got was that it only showed in logs, so i cant really even show anything to prove my side.

+1 I respect that he’s being upfront about what he did instead of trying to dodge responsibility for it. It’s been over a year since the ban and I think everyone deserves a chance to come back and prove they can do better.
