i +1 homie, even tho bros old enough to be my dad, dude genuinely seems like a good homie -
Being able to change your nationality is retarded. You went through the options and chose that specific nationality for whatever reason, but you chose it. So, being able to switch nationalities left and right is just silly Now for age, I believe there should be a system to where when the new year happens, everyone's character increases their age by a year.
-
That's fair, I think its more something that at least allows them to combat these issues that are prevalent with guns in particular. Im assuming this is ragebait, but if you think myself a user is going to be able to tell the difference between a MAC that was purchased from a reputable gun supplier and one that was purchased from someone racket abusing you must be silly.
-
I think a better suggestion would be to give the Don of every faction like a Purchased log for every week. The NPC's around the map are considered as Suppliers, and faction recruiters introduce new hires to those suppliers, which then they go and order items from the suppliers. So, It would make more sense if the suppliers logged every purchase made from members inside the faction, and at the end of every week the Don would get a note or some type of information detailing who bought what. This would add a more roleplay aspect into the game for everyone/
-
it’s not hard but you have to do it atleast once a week for a faction that has a class 4 in their racket. gun flags would be 100x easier
-
As a 3x Ex-Staff member of the Diverge Networks, navigating through logs to catch such acts is not hard at all.
-
yeah but to report them you still have to scour the logs

In-Game Name(s): Alexander Caccamo, Alexander Kreshnik, Paul Powerhouse, Baron Brown, Alfred Nickleworth. Steam Name: I'm Probably Batman Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/IAmProbablyBatman/ Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:39728980 Discord Username: probablybatman Age: 32 When did you first join the server: February 6th, 2024 Total playtime on our Servers (Do !time in-game): 2mo 13h 30m Time Zone: EST How much time can you realistically dedicate to moderating?: 10-15 hours a week, primarily on weekend mornings. Have you read the rules?: Yes Do you have a working microphone?: Yes Do you acknowledge that you must meet the weekly minimum ticket quota of 20 tickets? (Unless you have posted a valid LOA): Yes Are you familiarized with SAM and/or Nutscript commands?: No, Not at this time. Do you acknowledge that lying on this application will result in immediate denial and blacklisting from staff?: Yes ------------------------------------------------- Long Answer What is your motivation/reason for applying?: Upon first joining this server, I set a few "end game" goals for myself to give myself a reason to play. I had set a goal to give my crew a million dollar union fee, and to eventually become a Don. I have been successful in becoming a Don, in O'Hara I orchestrated the Horse Racing events that hasn't been seen or done since, that organization would hopefully still be around today had the unfortunate circumstance of the Horse Racing Creator not been an UC NYPD Detective, but I can never keep enough money to donate the 1 million at once. Being a part of this community for as long as I have, I've made it a new "end game" goal to become an admin, I have been privileged to be able to view how the role works through multiple perspectives, they are obligated to hold a fair and balanced experience for all players regardless of personal relations. I have also seen the not so bright side of administration, where a few isolated instances seem to undermine this position, and overexaggerate their powers. The most recent event that comes to my mind is the not so smooth retirement of a Super Administrator of the NYPD, since viewing that meeting and how it went down, it has never really settled with me as to how others can flaunt to use this position to gain IC advantages. What is done as Staff should never bleed into our characters and our ability to RP. I strongly feel this position needs to be completely separate, and my motivation stems from this reason. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): No. This is my very first time considering this sort of position. I have spent a fraction of time in every other server I've been in combined in comparison to this one. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No. I don't even recall receiving a Note. If I have ever received one, I do not recall it. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I have been maintaining the same appearance and theme throughout all of my "Main Character's" appearance. He is Cap. Price, with an Eagle on his shoulder, Hammer's Flat Cap, and a Green suit. I've kept a very neutral position with all businesses while on my main character. If a problem ever stems from an associate that is working for my corporation, I personally handle and resolve the issue with the afflicted business, so that an escalation or conflict never stems from a situation I have control over. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: Being a part of a really small business, and doing my absolute best to recruit legitimate employees to be a part of my business rather than any other business in the city. I've done a few Racket Wars, I've been on both sides of a mugging, and I've seen plenty of PD raids. None of them really kick the dopamine in my brain off more than when a small business that's not very acknowledged by the rest of the city, is the one that's competing with the Citizens of NY and the NYPD 29th itself for the most in the city currently. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: Dong (Snoop Tyrone) Hammer (Pat O'Hara) ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: As long as my Medal is on, and a CCTV camera is nearby, at the very least I'd inform another staff member of RDM and provide the clip. It's not the end of the world to me if I lose a gun or become the victim of RDM if my Medal is not on. I have never really gone out of my way to ask for a Comp when I get killed or seek retribution when it happens to me, when I'm able to provide proof of the incident, it's up to the Staff member who has responded to my ticket to determine the appropriate punishment, and my position as staff should not influence his decision. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Observe and Report. These sort of scenarios are where Medal is crucial. Skimming the rulebook to play to their own personal advantage should be frowned upon regardless of who it's for. I would record/document any and all available instances, and relay them to a higher authority than mine for proper evaluation. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Evidence is crucial in these sort of scenarios, it is the sort of infraction that has inspired me to apply, 99% of the staff currently are able to differentiate themselves from personal IC relations and IC/OOC infractions. I don't really care if my own mother violated NLR, if she went back to where she was sent to the hospital within a 15 minute period, she should face equal repercussions as much as anyone else.

can we just make this the new suggestion of the post faith was cooking still (im sure there were prototype/makeshift bullet catchers of some kind back in the day) but this is the perfect middle ground maybe not so much the inventory aspects but the overall if you dont reload it doesnt drop bullets its a perfect risk reward trade off less rounds for the exchange of quicker escape but if your aim sucks it can cost you and everyone else their lives
-
I'm on a suggestion strike until I get my last submission re-reviewed. But seriously, I think these issues are somewhat "intended" as in we have these rackets and the entire point of faction management and criminal roleplay is to try and control the flow of things.
-
Stealing my fucking ideas, I already said this in Faction Leader chat… stupid Irish bastard
-
and for alt chars who racket abuse for their friends that staff dont catch?

My suggestion is creating a separate flag that can be given to members of a faction by HC in that faction to allow them to sell guns / order shipments if their factions have such a racket. This could work like the recruitment flags which were added very recently and can help with dealing with a number of issues that there are with having gun rackets in factions. The first issue is that of racket abusing, where players create alt characters in factions simply to sell their overpowered guns for the benefit of their primary faction (while I understand this is already against the rules, this change would ensure that it would be harder to break this rule as I understand that some people do get away with it on occasion.) This dedicated flag will ensure that it would be significantly harder to exploit weapon rackets for this type of gain. The second issue is the selling of guns by untrained employees, when it comes to gun rackets - there seems to be a form of training in place to ensure that there is only those who are responsible to do the selling of the firearms instead of having the fresh associates buying a fuck ton of whatever and distributing it which could result in issues both staff wise and roleplay wise. Thanks for reading

I would say that revolvers definitely should not drop any casings unless you reload. I think there should be a manual reload by opening inventory and right clicking to unload empties into your pocket/inventory and then reload with R as normal. furthermore, make the casings an actual item that needs to be disposed of on top of this. Yea, it’s making our criminal jobs harder but that’s the fun of it.
