Catalytic Convertor Theft

In real life thieves looking to quick buck get a angle grinder, floorjack and rip the Catalytic Convertor out for 150-300$ payday by the scrapyard all within 30-90 second time period. Certain factions with auto shop, warehouse, chopshop properties would have extra roleplay added.

How it'll work: It will take 10 seconds since its a videogame, cars despawn etc. etc.

Then the auto-shop, chopshop or warehouse you take the catalytic converters to will buy it off you making a price like 100-300$ just as in real life, and sell it to a NPC for 700-1500 making sense to own a industrial spot.

Victim pays repair price for new Catalytic Convertor.

 

Adds a reason to leave out a sentry to watch the cars, adds roleplay and crime and interaction between players.

issue with things like this is either you make it a PK to get caught and almost no one will do it or you dont and all the minges will perma steal cats

So in theory you can cut the cats off your car I can easily abuse this

Thats why you have a sentry overwatching cars. You can get new recruits like interns to watch the cars and stop lockpickers. RP is a crazy thing!

Crimes are crimes because there's victims and you're playing a crime roleplay.
