Long Answer

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I've been active in the community for a while now and I genuinely enjoy being a part of diverge, which means taking a more involved role feels like the natural next step for me. A few staff members (boosted and Ka1) have encouraged me to apply based on my activity. I want to contribute more than I already do, and I think being staff would allow me to do that in a meaningful way.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I've been consistently active in the community and have built a solid understanding of how things work here, which I think gives me a good foundation for the role. I try to be helpful wherever I can, whether that's answering questions, keeping conversations on track, or just being a reliable presence. The fact that existing staff members like Boosted and Ka1 have encouraged me to apply gives me confidence that I'm on the right track, but I also know there's a lot I'd still need to learn. I'm willing to put in that effort, take feedback, and grow into the position rather than assume I've already got it figured out.

Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): Yes, many. I have over 40,000 hours on gmod (I know, chud alert), so the servers I have been staff on are numerous. They include Icefuse as a Division Lead, Moonlight Gaming as a Server Manager, and several others that have long sense ceased to exist.

Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I have not been warned or banned.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I think I am well known in the circles I run in.

What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Honestly, every month has new moments to enjoy, but most recently, watching Andy coup Supreme and then kill himself has been particularly hilarious to me. Goat moment.

Problem Solving
Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take.

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If I witness the RDM, I would investigate the situation and watch over the potential offender. As someone simply watching a situation, I have not seen the entire build up, so I cannot make an informed decision on if it was RDM, or if it was justified, until I hear both sides of the story and see evidence from the situation.

You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would record the situation as evidence, and kick it up the chain of command.

A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: Since it is a faction member/friend of mine, I would refrain from taking the ticket. Bias, even unconcious bias, can play a part in any decision people make, so removing myself from any chance of that is the correct choice.
