Long Answer

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: Since the day I logged into Diverge for the first time, I was hooked. This is the only roleplay server I play, and I care a lot for the quality of life for the players and for the community's integrity. My primary motivation for creating this staff application is simply because often late at night and in the early mornings, there are either 0 staff online or so very little staff on that there are simply not enough staff to accept and handle player tickets. Mass RDM, VDM, and large groups of minge players are very frequent when bad actors notice there are no staff present in the server. I also don't work a 9-5 and have a very adjustable time schedule, to say the least. I also love this community, genuinely, and I'm looking for a break from crim RP and may even consider staff-maining.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I have a very open schedule. I'm patient, tempered, and listen carefully. I don't have bad blood with anyone in the server. I don't really take insults personally or become 'angry/upset' because of such comments as 99% of the time players are simply frustrated, upset, looking to start an IC escalation, or simply a minge looking to get a reaction. The last note I received was for RDM and that was all the way back in November 2025. Somehow after roleplaying as crim main for 9 over months I have not received any other notes for any offense, and I have hospitalized MANY people since my note from 9 months ago. I was surprised to hear how relatively clean my record was when I asked an admin last night about my PO's. 

Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): None

Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: Metagame - permanent. This was around mid April 2025, about 1 month after joining. I was banned for metagame because I quite literally did not know what OOC and IC were, to me, they were the exact same thing. Essentially I had zero concept of what roleplay was. As to why it was extended to permanent instead of a few days was because I disrespected the banning admin, never let him get a word in and told him "I don't give a fuck If I get permabanned". The banning admin was more than patient with me as I believe this incident lasted around 30-40 minutes, and the admin was genuinely trying to get me to sober up/clear my head in that moment to try and get me to understand what was happening. But this was a great learning lesson for me, as I no longer drink alcohol because of said incident. Thank you, Fox.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I wouldn't say I am very well known. I would say I'm known to a small amount of people, but not "well known" by any means. I'd like to say my reputation is pretty solid and respected. I don't have people go out of their way to harass me nor do I start problems with people nor do I ever try to make someone's day worse in Diverge as everyone joins this server to have fun, not to log out upset or with a grudge against another player. I'm not sure what other players think of me. I currently have -133 reputation on the website of the time of this post. This isn't because of dumb or irritating comments on the forums, but rather because a few months ago DopeAsRoe jokingly wrote on Diverge general to go and mass dumb react a user on the forums and multiple players and I went back and forth in a dumb reaction war. Ironically, mine is -133 because DopeAsRoe dumb reacted all my posts.... I feel betrayed.. but that's ok. 

What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: My favourite moment on Diverge was crafting either the 1st or 2nd MG42 during the 2025 Christmas event mostly from scratch and a little bit of help from other people. My 2nd favourite moment would have to be ranking #4 on the month long winter event in December 2025.

Problem Solving
Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take.

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: I would continue playing out my roleplay until I am available. I would get on my staff character and analyze the situation. However, this is actually a question I've always wondered. What if there is an RDM and no ticket made? "Friends" RDM each other with "permission" all the time, and don't make a ticket. This is something I'd need to be mentored on by experienced staff members. Regardless of all I wrote, RDM is RDM and has to be dealt with.

You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would document with as much possible evidence, report to upper administration and go on from there. Staff abuse is possibly the worst thing that can ever be tolerated. Staff abuse slowly kills all servers on ANY game and I have zero-tolerance for it. 

A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: It would objectively be an inherent bias, subconsciously. Your mind might want to be lenient or let them go because they might be your friend, but I would quite literally treat them like any other player. There is no bargaining or any of that sort simply because we are in the same faction. If player did RDM, he will be dealt with the same as any other player regardless if it's my faction, an allied, faction or an enemy faction. RDM is RDM and the same treatment will be applied to all players.
