The Wright Family Application

+1 Met these guys in-game, pretty good RP, even with whatever anyone else is saying at least they're not sitting on railings and chairs jerking eachother off 10 hours a day.

As someone who ran pretty much the only successful British faction for a number of years, i'll give you my input.

+1 - I think the app is pretty decent, and I wish you guys all the best.

PRO

- Diverse, it's great to see someone else attempt a British faction.

- Play time seems alright.

- I liked the backstory to a degree, although it does have some issues.

CON

- The breaks in the backstory are frustrating and some of them don't really add anything to the story. IMO you'd benefit from bigger time gaps, to add more text to your paragraphs.

- I don't think you give enough examples of how you intend to be different from other factions. The VIP club thing is actually something we used to do weirdly lol. I'd like to hear more about your proposed business ideas, if you're steering clear of violence for a more business approach, how? you mention you want to steer clear away from standing around RP but by owning a club, you're going to end up with standing around RP.

Considerations

- Take it from me, you should decide early on if you're going to try and get people to talk in an english accent, or just the main guys etc. In TDS, I benefited greatly from the high command being actually British (for the most part) because trying to do this down the lines flops extremely hard.

- You mentioned a gentlemen's club, don't put poles in it for the love of God - learn from my mistake lmfao.

- Fuck Billy Kimber, here's what happened to the last Kimber. https://streamable.com/fu3qcz

I apologize in advance for the book

Thanks for your feedback. To answer your questions, for our proposed business ideas, we have high ambitions. The main focus of our faction is going to be trade. Criminal trade, legal trade, you name it. Most of our services will be kept behind a membership fee. We’d like to introduce different package options for different budgets. Once paid, the VIP will have access to whatever service is available with their package. We intend to offer an all in one exclusive trade hub where you can acquire anything to your heart's desire. No having to hunt for 1 specific guy for 1 specific item. We would like to make the club a neutral zone for paid VIP members. This can be a place factions come to dispute issues without having to worry about one starting drama. With that being said, we would need to keep on good terms with most factions. To further elaborate on our “Business over Bloodshed” Ideology, this simply means we honor trying to negotiate and arrange a deal to solve a problem with mutual benefit. However, this would not make us a peaceful faction. If someone impedes on us, and is unreasonable, we will shut it down. No hesitation. When I say we are business based, I mean we mean business.

We would also like to host private auctions. These would be different from normal auctions, as they would showcase exclusive and lucrative items, starting at dirt cheap. This would give high incentive to our VIP packages. We want to create a private hole in the wall high class establishment, where factions would not have to worry about their safety, but could unwind in a classy comfort. We would very much like to implement a private gambling parlor inside the club, as well as fashion shows. These fashion shows would give players a chance to show off their best outfits. The contestants for these shows would be judged by a selection of judges from different backgrounds, as to not pose any bias. The top 3 winners of the show would win an assortment of prizes. Our number one quality is RP. If accepted, we aim to bring much life to the server.

As for standing around RP, most definitely a club would bring that. Our goal is to implement more opportunities for new members. Security meaning anytime a higher member is to go somewhere any of the new hires can attend. A meeting? the new hire can tag along at the higher members discretion. Errand running is also something we'd like to implement into our business. New hires can be tasked at the higher members discretion such as retrieving equipment, delivering packages, and more. I understand that standing around RP is almost unavoidable with almost any business. Our goal is to try and mitigate it as much as possible. I also understand that putting trust in new hires is a risk because anyone can pocket some money and run off. It's a risk we're willing to make if it means better RP. If any of your questions are unanswered please reach out. I'm always happy to help out.

We don't plan to add poles to the club fortunately lol.

Agreed fuck Billy Kimber.

I’d also like to add that I’ve made changes to the backstory with your advice in mind.
