yes in fact police do need to be stronger when it comes to policing and taking down criminal organizations but in turn police/judges/DAs need the fear of god aswell. 

 

Here’s my suggestion:

Add back rico make it extremely difficult where you gotta run the faction like a retard for it to even be possible. (connected banks, high ranking member snitching for ic reasons, etc)

Increase phone/building wiretapping by adding a physical item that can be deployed and hidden

bigger legal hoops to jump through (registered business banks, proof of income, maybe an aggregate tax rate) this can also bring the possibility of tax fraud being an actual crime.

tldr be a smart criminal and loose lips sink ships

Government consequences for trying to take down a mafia org:

 

Detectives/Officers/DAs that go after (arrest, warrant, etc) a caporegime or above (felony+) are pk active to the faction. 

DAs and Judges can now be bribed to drop charges or throw a case (10k for every year) 

tldr you wanna rp like your taking down the mob be prepared to fear for your life and this is america home of bribery.

1. Rico can never be "extremely difficult", that's the entire point. It blew through factions. If you give these retards RICO they're going to light you up and burn you to the ground. It's suicidal. Especially now that the prosecutors arent retards.

2. I agree with this actually, but wiretaps are so far and few that it'll never be used. Furthermore, it'll still require staff to record on position.

3. "proof of income, banks" yeah no thats super retarded because you're all bajillionaires running hot dog stands. As soon as they get proof of income, you're cooked, and trust me when I say it's *so* easy to prove income is "too much".

4. no. you shouldn't have government consequences for "trying to take down a faction". dont be a retard and dont get caught. If you do get caught, dont be a retard and get a lawyer. If you do get a lawyer, dont be a retard and lose the case. If you do lose the case, dont be a retard and appeal. If you lose the appeal, dont be a retard and just take the L and shuffle around resources. At no time should the death of a don kill a faction, you should be cultivating replacements for every high ranking position. That way if you get touched, its not even a problem. The only way they can *actually* kill a faction is to kill your activity, and thats entirely based on *you* giving up.

5. PKing detectives i could see why you'd say that. PKing Officers, I could see why you say that. Pking the DAs??? No. You know why? Because theres not enough fucking DAs. If they get pked, then the entire fucking system goes down.

As for detectives, there should be a standard that if you do *excessive* stuff to a faction like blatantly threaten them, and harass them, they should be able to kill you. I'm tired of seeing riggs do advertisements about SOS, someone dome him please.

6. No bribes for the DAs office or judges. It's hard enough dealing with people who are obviously pro criminal because everyone has a crim main. We keep them uncorruptable because its the best, most viable option. They *need* some semblence of impartiality so that the court system actually *works*. If anyone can bribe their way out, everyone just sells a suit and bribes their way out.

A detective came to SOS the other day and called us a gang and said he's going to take down our shitty gang, PK got denied. 
But I did get told that we're a known gang and it's their job to take us down so there is no wrong doing at all.
However, I can't say we're a criminal org or PD would be all over my ass.

You can't be arrested for admitting to being a criminal org lol, it wouldn't even raise the amount of cops watching you.  Its already known.

To a degree I knew this, however I didn't think cops were allowed to walk up to a buisness and call them a gang and say they're taking their gang down. But hey the more you know.
