Hell no. People are already crude, cruel, and childish with the snowball throwing. This would further ruin and devolve RP, as I’m sure you can imagine the type of dumb things people would say once you’re covered in snow or hit in the face.

Last year, we already had to deal with people hotkeying /me of filling their snowballs with shit, piss, and cum before throwing them. Peak roleplay.

I get what you're saying, my initial opinion was that the snowball as an item is entirely stupid to have. It messes with my autism of having too much shit equipped and it's basically just a minge item. BUT i am also of the opinion that since we do have to live with it, and it's not going anyway for the rest of the month, might as well improv on the concept.

I understand what you’re saying.

Honestly, I’m obviously just jaded by the state of RP and the fact that snowballs have only worsened it. I’m hoping to transition to a phase where snowballs are taken as assault/battery and we can use self defense or at least justify it in escalation by the rules. Pretty sure that’s how it worked last year but I’m trying to make sure I have shit straight before I go running around and responding to it accordingly. 

People just expect you to take it as a joke like I’m supposed to be okay with my guy getting pelted by random snowballs constantly.

My only recourse otherwise would be just to pretend there’s little kids running around tossing the snowballs and I’ll just ignore the people throwing them/minting with them. Then people won’t get the satisfaction of having their gangster characters tossing random shit, pissing people off.
