Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): It all comes full circle. Where his predecessors ran Harrison Corp. & Harrison Crime Family. Johnny would look back at the legacy of Davis Boys and let it rest. It was time to bring it back to where it all started. Calls were made to places all across the United States. All of the heavy hitters of the Davis Boys would reconnect and meet in Miami after years of radio silence. As they sat around a table they talked of what they had been up to, but also what they wanted to accomplish if they were to do what they planned on doing. Eventually it was clear, they were going to fly back into New York and empty out those retirement accounts. Johnny would contact his Russian friend named *REDACTED*. He never left New York with the rest of the group when they cashed out and retired. He kept up with the assets Johnny had left behind. Among the random things he stored, there would be enough heavy weapons to arm a small country. DP27s, PPSHs, Skorpions, AKs, etc. The keys to the warehouse they were stored would be passed back to him upon his return. In the same warehouse a few luxury cars and a lot of Dodge Monacos would be left with tarps covering them. Johnny would take the tarp off a purple Rolls Royce and turn the key. It would sputter then start and he would drive around the city to see what had changed since he left. He would shed a tear as he drove past where World Corp. used to stand tall. He would wonder where it went and think of all of the souls it harvested. After driving a lap or two around the city he would stop in at a restaurant with the rest of the group and grab some food. As they ate they would discuss their first moves. Edited 9 hours ago by Guitar Guy 4 1 Link to comment

Fox
+/- Davis Boys was good, I enjoyed our RP a few years ago but the faction kind of fell off. This application is very lackluster and you rely way too much on past RP (don't get me wrong, I see how it's relevant) but you offer almost zero information on the faction, past and present and it seems very lazy. PRO + Good RPer and has experience in a faction leader position. + Great play time, understands the rules of the server. CON - Backstory is incredibly lacking, applicants spend hours on their applications, yours is just barely over the wordcount. In the small write up you did provide, it reads really well, but there isn't enough. You have the opportunity to write out the entire Davis Boys storyline and how it ended, and how it's beginning again as the Harrison Family... but you didn't do that? - No information on unique roleplay. "Private things like meetings, the hiring process" how is this any different from any other faction. Every faction has a hiring process and has meetings... how is your hiring process / meetings any different from the others? You mention it's 'Fun for those coming in'... how? Link to comment

I did rely heavily on some prior knowledge a lot of people may not have and I should have gone more in depth. I also agree with application is not my best and I could do it better. I plan to make some edits after work tomorrow. More of my time has been spent discussing with HC on some things we could do differently from the prior factions we have run. Each time we have wanted to do something better or different and I think this will be no different. Its a solid faction of veterans. Not necessarily RP, but a faction policy I can guarantee is that there will be no kickups. I want the faction to be friendly to the casual player and I feel like its hard to do that. We are in a unique position where we already have enough money and the only expense we would have is taxes on a property. As far as I know, no one else is doing this. We want our members to want to play in our faction not feel like they have to hit a quota. I could go in depth into all the RP scenarios as a mob that we have done and plan to do, but they dont vary too much from whats already in the server or what you already know. Ceremony of becoming made, Tests and challenges Associates are given to prove their worth, Tasks for hangrounds to do that arent just standing at a door. We know how to keep it interesting for our members and thats what we plan to do if accepted. Engagement > Money. Also I have some faction events I wrote up from when I was still staff that I could bust out if there is a GM willing to work with us on them and set up the scenes. Bear
+1 Some people would rightfully complain about that short story, but I would prefer an enjoyable short read over a wall of text boring slop (like mine was) An American faction that isn't a oil company sounds great honestly, we are in America dammit!
