A way to move single unit items like drug baggies at once
bingus replied to Chief Sosa's topic in Suggestions
Even double clicking an item to automatically transfer it to a container (crate, other person's inventory (when mugging), ATM, car trunk, etc) would be way better -
Regarding the earlier suggestion @JamesNoellHurt made. If possible, we should add one of two new options for bank account money transfers: 1. Allow you to save a bank ID (with a name) to some sort of "Contacts" list in your ATM. Then when you go to transfer funds, you can select which contact(s) you send the funds to by ticking one or more boxes from your contact list (this might require new UIs); or 2. Allow you to send money to multiple people at the same time by separating account IDs with a comma. Each account ID runs a 'separate transaction' so if the account doesn't exist then the money for that person doesn't go through. The amount for each transaction would probably have to be the same though. Probably not an urgent suggestion but it would be a nice quality of life update (especially for government payroll! @Hue)

New Diverge Map hype!? (Trailer Video)
bingus replied to Canadian-bacon's topic in General Discussion
I hope we'll get some new server features in the future to facilitate epic roleplay at the Harbor. A supply chain system would be cool so items/NPCs in the city need to be produced, shipped and stocked instead of having an infinite supply..... -
Don't be silly, hide your willy gun!

It might not matter much anymore since there will only be one gas station in the new map, but seeing a return of fuel consumption from the mafia servers-of-old would be nice. Not only does it add immersion into the roleplay but it could also be a passive money sink for the economy in the range of three to four figures. Consumption could be influenced by the speed and luxuriousness of the car as well (fast and modern 2010s cars cost more to maintain than poor people cars!) Not quite sure what it would take for this to be added though. Just a thought!

From a government perspective, it is unlikely that separate "attachment stamps" will make a return as I do not intend to change the Register again. If these physical items are added, then it will most likely be regulated on the basis that a firearm is upgraded in classification when a certain attachment is attached to it (for example, if a class 2 semi-automatic weapon is fitted with an attachment which turns it into a fully-automatic weapon, its classification would be upgraded from class 2 to class 3, etc).

Might as well call this NPC faction "Minge Inc."

+1 Or just introduce a fishing minigame like the one from Stardew Valley

+/- 1 Would need to be very careful with balancing this so it wouldn't be abused or just turn into a grindy mess. My idea would be make it so a player can only "lockpick" an ATM if there's another player currently accessing it (using the menus actively making sure they're not AFK). Gives a $100-250 payout, then there's a 5-10 minute cooldown or something which applies to all ATMs to prevent someone from running from one to another. Could implement Hoovis' idea (quoted) about getting an individual item which it sold to a different NPC or another player.

+1 Isn't there a skybox addon that can be used for weather and lightning, etc? I remember trying it out in singleplayer one time for southside but I'm not sure if it'll be a strain on server resources.

+1 If you have lots of players and an interesting enough job ("legal racket") then sure a player-run faction makes the most sense. But if the income is low compared to everything else (Speedy Delivery level income) and if the job is only meant for new players to get some money to start off with, then I think it should be an NPC job.
