In the situation in the clip, you had no reason to punch him / attack him there was no RP at all you just started swinging at him, almost killing him. We feel that waiting these 2 weeks out to give you a break from the server and time to think about your actions would be the best for you at the moment. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and denied. Hello, the people you killed never actually said anything about killing you they only ever said you were punching people, and you tried running someone's friend over earlier. From what I've seen, they killed you for punching them earlier that day, then around an hour later, you found them and started asking them questions on where they work, and then some type of verbal argument had started. You then walked away from them, came back, and then shot both of them for what it seems is disrespect. You are not allowed to escalate a confrontation to murder just for verbal disrespect/argument. What you are allowed to do is, if they continue to disrespect you, you may physically intimidate or hit them. (Fists, melee weapon) As continued disrespect could realistically start a fight. The user then has free choice on how to respond/retaliate. If they choose to flee you may not kill them. However, instead of going through these steps, you went and shot them immediately without going through any escalation. Also, if they did hit your car, you could've told them to stop, and if they didn't, you could have escalated, but if they hit your car one time, you cannot kill them for that even if they shouted fuck the blue lobster afterwards. Like you said, the ban was justified, and considering your notes and bans and that this has been a recurring issue, it was decided that the ban length was justified. Make sure you read through the rules thoroughly.

Hello, so I was the staff member that warned you. I warned you because you and the other cop were sitting in a PD discord call after showing me a clip of the other cop saying, "If he hits me, I'm just" over discord I saw that as metagame because your friend was communicating over Discord to you about a situation in game. Yes, it wasn't super severe, but there's intent to metagame shown through the clip. I asked for the opinion of another staff member. Being Anzati, once he was there, he sat there and tried to explain how sitting in the discord call and saying anything about what was happening in game is against the rules. You then tried saying stuff about you sitting in the discord call to help new officers with making criminal complaints and plea deals, but that is something that you can do in game instead of over discord. Something to mention is that you already had a metagaming warning from the 1st of September.

Like I said before, I've been playing for a while now, and I want to do more for the community as a whole and help others whenever other staff aren't available. I've seen that at later times, tickets start to build up, and the same is true at peak hours, so I'd like to help other staff members with tickets during prime and at downtime when other staff members are afk or not on. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: * I would say that I'm decently well known in the factions I'm associated with, but I wouldn't say that I'm known throughout the whole community. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: To be honest, I wouldn't say I have a specific favorite moment over my time on diverge. I personally have enjoyed all of my time on Diverge, and I don't think I could pick a specific moment. Have any staff members recommended you? How do you handle this?: If I were in a roleplay scenario and no staff were taking the ticket, I'd try to finish the scenario as soon as possible and take it if no one did. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would start by gathering clips and any other evidence I could get. Then I would see if I could contact a member of UA or anyone else that would deal with these situations and send them everything I had gathered. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I'd have another staff member take the ticket, but if I had to take the ticket, I would start by getting clips and stories from both sides and make sure there were no rule breaks. I feel like there probably would be some subconscious bias seeing that I knew the dude; however, I would do my best to make sure I didn't have any bias towards either party.
