again it could be a temporary thing, they get the name for like an hour. Regardless people who have long ass names its not like you can copy it just from having it show above their head.

Fuck Id rather them keep asking then have my name. Thats for certain, like I said in a post prior cops dont just remember peoples names from looking at an ID 1 time. They remember what they look like but not what their names are unless they are frequently arrested.

Like I said I think asking for the ID for open carrying is fine. But having permanent access to someone's name for something their legally allowed to do is kind of dumb

never said I was invincible, but another think about is take into account even in real life cops get your id and theyll recognize you but they wont remember your name, unless you are frequently arrested. Another suggestion that could add too it is that its a temporary name remembrance. Where cops get your id and then they get your name for X amount of time.

I believable we should go back to having it so when you show someone your license it does not actually give them your name. There has been a lot of cops just going around asking for ID for having a gun, which is fine but it would clear up a lot of problems with people getting arrested because they dont want cops to have their name. My suggestion to the change could be to have it so when you look at someone's ID when their cuffed the cop gets the name of the perp. That way when someone is legally open carrying cops dont just f3 fish and go let me see your ID and get the name of the person, this would prevent a lot of people from just outright being arrested for refusing to essentially give up their name.

I feel that, I think the best thing we can do is come up with ideas on how we can make it more RP'able so that way it feels less like darkRP. I think one way is to have it so that you absolutely need a lockpick and crowbar, to open the atm, and then a script that allows you to only rob when there are a minimum of 10 cops, and you can only rob any atm every hour. Breaking into the ATM is a crime and maybe there is some sort of script that has like a chance to ring an alarm and make cops aware that someone is doing it and where.

Ok but why though? When I made my main character I literally spent hours fishing till I could run oil, and then hours more for the Christmas event. Fishing is actually profitable as it is. So having a better rod to catch better fish, would just be like saying make it easier to make money from fishing.

I like this idea, I think it would add more fun ways to make a bit of cash as civs. Obviously the amount you'd receive would have to be relatively small otherwise everyone is just gonna be farming it. Or maybe make it so it takes a long time, and there needs to be a certain amount of cops on and it pays out big like random number gen from 10-20k and if your caught ez felony charge right there.

Dude look at the taxi job, speedy delivery drivers, and city workers jobs. Theyre not factions made by people, thats what the @Micky2DEvito is trying to say here. I also support this have more jobs that new players can join into can really help retain and teach some of the basics of the server just by existing.
