  1. It can be for a trade in or price like I stated previously and the whole reason behind it is so instead of people creating new chars or removing a felony with irl money (since not everyone would be down to do it) they would prob take a risk on taking a chance on something that with rolling can be with higher percentage to show to a cop that they can open carry a gun, because lets be honest felons are already carrying guns or what not, and if a cop notices them with a gun at least they have a chance of getting away from it with a probability that fake id will have showing a good copy. I think they had rather take a gamble on that instead of starting new again on a new char or waiting couple months and then removing their felony record with irl money.
  2. I personally think it would be better for an NPC at the barge or sewers be selling/trading these where you can first get the fake and then potentially have more options such as change name, gun license, attachment stamp, etc. Potentially it would be also cool to have civs to do it as another way of them making money potentially but I still think the NPC would be better. As well as a instead of device that can see it, I agree with the success rate, it also could be a simple roll where when a cop asks for ID, it will be an automatic roll system on a fake, whether it shows the good standard ID that's hard to see or something like what you posted. The roll can be more favorable for those who decide to invest more into a fake with more upgrades with stamps and gun licenses but also with higher chance with roll. I think the majority who would use it are felons with fake gun licenses and everything fake, so they can go and buy guns or carry them openly, as a lot of people when they become felons either make new characters or just get their felony record removed a couple of months later. This would motivate people on getting something instead of creating a new char over and over again. As well as they can change their name in those ids.
  3. I think that makes sense too, I agree.
  4. I think it would be an interesting idea to allow felons to carry alternative IDs that appear the same as standard IDs, so they aren’t immediately singled out during cops routine check and it doesn't limit them on whether they can buy guns or not. These IDs would be designed so that regular officers couldn’t easily tell the difference during routine interactions. As well as would allow felons to carry weapons and potentially buy guns, as well as to balance it out its still going to be risky and expensive to get a forgery copy. As well as they can set what they want on it, and the more modifications they want, the more challenging it's going to be to get the forgery copy. Just to have a clean non-felon would be the cheapest forged id to get, but then moving to it, also saying a different name, gun license, whether it has attachment tamp, etc would get more complicated and more challenging to retrieve. However, to make it so cops can catch it, higher-ranking or specially authorized officers (such as corporals+) would have a specific tool, like a specialized device that allows them to verify whether the ID is standard or forged when necessary. This way, identification remains discreet while still giving law enforcement a controlled method of verification, and also gives a chance for felons to carry a gun, etc.
  5. For a valid mug, you’re required to issue clear demands and give a realistic amount of time to comply/react. Saying “hands, hands” and then shooting 2-3 seconds later does not meet that requirement. Removing a gun from safety is not defined as non compliance or aggression in the rules. You fired before confirming refusal to comply and before establishing Fear RP properly or even to check if he had a gun with him or not. That’s why the shot is invalid rule wise as how I explained it.
  6. Overall, this is just a messy situation. The individual was given only one warning, which does not make him PK-active under the rules. 3) If you're holding someone under Fear RP and issue them orders/warnings not to do something and they disobey you may kill them. However, one single warning/order will not suffice, multiple warnings in a very short time span will also not suffice. You have to give them adequate time to react. Also breaks mugging rule 11 You may only kill the victim if they DO NOT comply with your demands. Victims that comply are to be left unharmed. Likewise you may only make realistic demands, this means you can’t demand something unrealistic that the victim cannot deliver in order to kill them. Give them a realistic amount of time to comply. Don't order them to do something then shoot them < 5 seconds later, they barely have time to comply. In the clip, from his perspective, you can clearly see people pulling out guns on him while he already had a weapon visible. In the video, it’s evident that he was carrying a gun, and for a brief moment he takes it off safety. If he had actually attempted to pull the gun out, it would have taken significantly longer and been much more obvious. That never happened. On top of that, another Fear RP rule is broken: 11) Fearrp no longer applies when you shoot and/or damage the victim, they may retaliate without risk. You shot him first, within roughly 1–2 seconds after issuing the warning not to move. Fear RP was immediateely voided the moment shots were fired. I see this situation more of a rdm than a mug if anything and then they proceed to use OOC matters IC.
