How do you handle this?: Well I would try to get a staff member to take it or make a ticket myself. Most of the time people make tickets when they get RDMed or so, and in that case, I would just move on. If all else fails and no one is available to take it, I would swap and take it myself. What do you do?: I would record and document any evidence for a Staff/UA Report as anyone should. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would take the ticket and assess the situation as if it were any other player. Depending on the severity of it, evidence recorded, past offences, I would punish accordingly. Sometimes that would be just a note, and sometimes it's a ban. Depends. My best guess is to first @ and ask staff to look into if X cop has a main char in a conflict faction. In that case you can provide clips or whatever situation they were involved in so staff can check at that time if he swapped chars and went to the situation etc.

I am actually compiling a few clips on a certain staff member that I believe has been biased. Report will be made when it is said and done. I also second you and encourage others to document and record all interactions during a conflict whether it’s staff or PD, and make appropriate reports.

Honestly you're super retarded for a guy named MrlogicNova so I'm gonna give you this one post. RDM is a staff concern, not a policing issue. Also this could be argued in different ways but you chose to be stupid about it so I'll leave it at that. I agree. They literally camp known conflict areas and then immediately @ when they got mowed down after a situation has escalated. There should absolutely be some leniency for that.

I genuinely think it’s fair to implement a character lock on PD alts when your main character is actively involved in a conflict. At the very least, locking PD alts during active conflict should be a no-brainer. We’ve all seen it: as soon as something heats up against one side, suddenly 10 PD alts fly in and swarm the situation. Let’s not pretend this isn’t happening please. For full transparency—I do have a PD alt, but I’ve barely touched it aside from doing supervisory duties for activity reasons. He pulled out his gun because he said this is your last order and we weren't going give him what he wants. How can pulling out a firearm shortly after making such a threat be considered an idle threat? It doesn't matter if his gun was briefly on safety; the fact that he drew it after explicitly said that this is your last order made it clear that violence was imminent. We simply refused the order because we were leaving, there was nothing about "probably felt unsafe" before the draw, his last order was being disobeyed that's it. I think this is an undeserving ban because of the circumstance. It was an extremely tense situation and unfolded quite naturally. RDM = Random Deathmatch. Based on what is said above is this really RDM?

Keep in mind I have over 2k game time in GMOD and most of it was spent in HellsGamers PERP back in the day and a bunch of other RPs. Oh and I guess every single faction higher up has his own detective character so why would they even bother with all of this? Honestly if you're a higher up in a faction you shouldn't be allowed to have a cop character. PERIOD. The conflict of interest is there no matter what you tell me. Heck if one bullet is fired outside of a faction property, no matter what their intent or right is, that should be grounds for a full-on police raid. Maybe there should be a Crime Family/Gang/NARC Task Force with more investigative power, including the ability to be fully disguised as a civilian and not visible anywhere as a cop, able to join and maintain your character as a civilian in a crime family, gather intel and climb the ranks etc etc. Undercover work should be much better IMO, if you know someone has an affiliation with another gang you want to be able to follow that person and gather as much about him as possible, routines, entrys and exits. Yeah like some factions have oil trades while some have arms, clothing, restaurants etc. How does that system work like, and what are the costs for establishing?
