What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * I have been playing MafiaRP for around 3 years, and I have always loved being a part of the incredibly diverse community. I have also loved to see the new waves of people that come and find the server, as there has been a lot of new groups if people that I have seen and have had the pleasure to play with. plus, it is always fun to see all the fun, and hilarious situations that you can get in to. it is by a landslide, my favorite Garry's mod server; I also want to help keep the community pure of all the minges, and people who try to ruin other people's experiences. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I have been playing for quite some time, and I think I can bring positive energy to the community. I also believe in treating everyone equally and giving fair and honest opinions. and if I were to be accepted, for any ticket I take all sides/ stories into consideration, as I believe it is important to fully understand a situation before making an ultimate decision. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): Yes, but not on a game server. A couple years ago, I started out as a chat moderator, then became one of the top Admins. I was an admin for about a year for a youtuber who has 300k subscribers. he is not as popular anymore, but he was quite popular when he got doxed as a kid while on stream. His name is Rolly Ranchers, and we actually ended up becoming pretty good friends Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No, I have never been banned. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: * I am somewhat well known amongst the PD, and I was well known in the faction I was apart of. I would say I have a pretty good reputation, as I hope people would see me as a down-to-earth person, and quite easy to get along with. I'd also like to think I am quite friendly to people, and I treat people respectfully. What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: When the aliens invaded the city, and we had to go kill them, and we had to watch from above to make sure we didn't get sucked up by the things with the long arms Have any staff members recommended you? Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: It depends. If there are other mod's on, and I am in a roleplay scenario, I will let the other mods know about it because I don't want to ruin the scenario just to escalate the situation with the RDM. I think that's power abusing. However, if I am the only mod on at the time of the RDM, I think its reasonable to switch characters to deal with it, so they don't feel like they are able to just continue doing it without any consequence(s) You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would gather evidence of the abusing, but if it isn't anything that's too absurd, I would just wait in case it was just error which we all make, but if it continues to get worse, I will definitely report the abuser to higher ranks and provide them the evidence. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I will still punish them as it is unacceptable to RDM/Minge. Even if I do know them personally, I still think they should be punished for their actions, as like I stated earlier, that everyone should be treated equally. No one should have any specific bias against them, or in favor for them.

Goodafternoon, After checking some notes and logs we've came to a mutual agreement that this ban stays as is. You both gained acces to the PD by abusing the sit function in order to bait a situation aswell, whenever the cop tried to taze one of you when you stood up, they immediately sat down, very cop baity. When you both realised he switched to his staff character you guys fled and abused out of PD like how you got in, logs provide enough evidence that you guys have tried to get in pd by abusing the sit function, not just that, you have 3 days of playtime and already received 2 bans. I suggest you to start taking this serious and please try not to disrupt others and their RP. I understand you two were just trying to have fun, but there are clearly no 'off hours' that grants you to break rules. 3 days is more than justified to me. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this ban to be reasonable and/or justified. Ensure you have read our Server Rules.

I am appealing this case against me as I feel this was unfair and the consequences for my actions should be reconsidered. I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to respectfully request a reconsideration of my ban from MafiaRP. I understand the seriousness of the actions that led to my removal from the community, and I’d like to explain my perspective, express sincere remorse, and ask for some understanding of what happened. I started Garry's Mod not too long ago (around a week or 2). With little understanding, like most players, I joined the first and one of the biggest public servers also known as MafiaRP. All I did at the start was just roam around and figure out how to play, hell I didn't even know how to use voice chat. My first 5 hours were solely on MafiaRP and I didn't understand what RP, RDM, NITRP, LTARP, NLR, etc, meant. Even to this day I still don't know the terms. I was just working myself around garrysmod figuring out how to play and what to do. But ill explain my beginnings of the ban's page on forums. My first offence was me getting banned for the following: LTARP/ PO x3/ Attempted RDM in sit. Which to be quite frankly with you, I have no clue what that meant at the time since it was my first time playing and I wasn't told what PO x3 meant and I still don't know what this means to this day. Attempted RDM which I know now as random deathmatch. Which I understand what they mean but the admin was in God mode and I only had fists but I totally agree with them on this ban. LTARP was me not knowing the rules which is partially my fault for not knowing what it meant by reading the rules, but a warning would've been nice, especially for this case. The 2nd offence was me killing officers on sight, then again this was like the day after I was unbanned, when I still partially didn't understand the rules. I had killed an officer named Joey Grimes which was within the rules and was accepted. I then was feeling on top of the world and shot 2 officers for doing nothing because I had heard from Joey Grimes in a voice call in discord that he had like the whole PD on me at the time (there was like 7 people online total). So I made a mistake, the second the car stopped at me and the pals I made when I was a fugitive, I shot both of them, without them saying a word. I am truly sorry for acting out this way but I had felt the need to since I didn't want PK. The 3rd offence was me messing around and fighting people on the streets for fun with the same pals I made earlier. This offence had happened when I saw a guy on the street, and by the way, we have had past with this guy. I just asked him for some simple medicine. He then replies,"F*ck ni@!**, I ain't got shit for you" and out of prior beef with guy in vc's and other conflicts, I had acted up. I am sorry for what I did and shouldn't have done it. I just have never felt on top of the world like that. (I also had a bounty on me by like 10 people because of some conflicts I got in so I was alarmed). I was then brought in by bullets, which I accepted the ban and didn't argue with what he had ruled, he said 3 days for RDM and that should've been the end of it. Final Ban: I wake up in the morning on the day of my unban and try to log on, but then I see it is perm banned on everything, even discord. I then hop one of the accounts I had and try to ask them the reason for a permanent ban. They don't respond and I have a simple conversation with xdutch. I then get told as satire in the ticket by Monaclu that the reason I was banned was because someone said I was Jewish and they had to perma ban for that. (I hope this was a joke). I then move on in the ticket and Xdutch comes back telling me that I was banned for the following "Being a weird kid in the discord and RDM PO x2" Which like three of the admins said didn't make sense to ban me for 2x PO of RDM. I had hopped on alts because of how I was and I truly enjoyed the server. I was really eager to be unbanned and felt this was wrong. I am so sorry for what I had done and wish to be back on server just for ONE MORE CHANCE. I was new and didn't understand. Conclusion: I understand what I did was wrong. And I wish I could express how sincerely I apologize to those people. I know what I did wasn't cool or nice. I didn't know at the time it can ruin the experience for others as I had seen a lot of people around me act the same. I’ve only had so many hours in garrysmod, and I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again. I really enjoy being part of this server and this is the only server I play on gmod, and I just want a chance to make it right and move on from this. This will never happen again. picture of ban
