I did NOT mean to kill anyone in this instance and I didn't know they would ragdoll beneath my car. I couldn't even move my car off of them or away from the people involved. Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: Unintended VDM? I'm really unsure since nobody was supposed to be killed or blown up. I don't even know what rule was broken. Hi! With the new pk system actually dropping a physical body I believe it would make a lot of sense to actually search and loot the body of their inventory. This will allow items not to just disappear into the void like they do now and allow people to either regain lost items or to claim "trophies". For balancing i think the act of going into the bodies pockets has a % chance to leave finger prints on the corpse.

global rule 1 is cheating. its not that hard to grasp. you were cheating and got caught.

Hello, this PK has been the foundation for some controversy it would seem. Here is the ruling: You were sitting idly in a car, and when 2 cops and their suspect who they were tazing lined up perfectly, you sped forward, hitting the officers, ragdolling them underneat your car, and the obvious result was your death. Now some may say that "gmod physics" shouldn't be applicable to PKs, however anybody who's played this game further than 5 minutes understands that hitting people with your car who are on foot will invariably kill you as well. You performed a violent action against officers, and died. Had you drowned, this would be a PK. Had you starved to death, this would have been a PK. Any death after starting a violent confrontation with police, is a full death, save actual server glitches (dying from running people over not applicable) or RDM. To speak on the aspect of the reporting player not being an officer; it's an indifferent aspect of this. Any death that is a PK can be reported by any player, officer, bystander, or guy who does it for the love of the game for some reason. A PK is a PK no matter who reports it. There is no selective PKs. If there's evidence, and its valid, it is a PK. This is a denial, the PK is just.

You stole a business idea from an rp criminal via dms in an IC context, thought you could get away with it, because of DMs, tried to extort via dms. Complaints were made and UA approved. You were threatened ICly and made aware of the consequences. Tried to make a new character to avoid the consequences and were even banned for metagame for that. This was dragged out, you were told what to expect and you did it anyway. This has nothings to do with power game, you can quote any rule you'd like, you can argue semantics of the business model. 'being different', but ultimately you acted in bad faith here ( tried to act with impunity using dms as a shield ) and we don't see the business model being fundamentally different. As well as the timing here, is question to say the least. The entire circumstance leading to your death was UA approved, you were given a chance to back off. You even had chance to plead your case, if your business model was fundamentally different, but chose to try to do it on a new character instead. That in itself proves bad faith. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this PK to be reasonable and/or justified. You may not re-appeal this PK.

For my full opinion: I don't know what exactly led up to your one day ban but if you actually joined on an alternative steam with GMOD then I think you made a very unwise decision. However I think your an outstanding member of the community and while I don't have your notes and haven't looked into your past bans I believe you should be given a second chance.

You were also arrested, alleged to have lied about being arrested and as stated were considered a liability. You know what you did. Generally if you join a criminal faction, you accept the risk. You've been transferred into a criminal faction. Joining an illegal organization means accepting the realities of criminal life. You will have the possibility of becoming rich and powerful beyond your wildest dreams, but this comes with the risk of being permanently killed, including by fellow faction members on orders of your boss. By proceeding you understand this. While you may have an argument if it was just 'missing kickups', your collective actions ultimately leads us to deny this appeal. Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this PK to be reasonable and/or justified. You may not re-appeal this PK.

This is pretty simple. You were caught in several lies and engaged in unilateral decision making in attempt to make money for yourself that strictly went against rules we set, such as how to conduct yourself when selling certain goods all the way to what goods you are allowed to sell. Furthermore, your story for the time you spent in holding/lockup/processing was inconsistent and lacking in verifiable proof once we looked into the matter. It was clear cut that you are a liability and there was a high probability that you gave badges what they needed or the promises of what was needed for them to work some sort of deal with you. Even that specifically non-withstanding, you had to go. Too many missteps and untruths.

Your Character or Steam Name: Arty G (Steam)/Lorenzo Cappello/Maxim J Thorson Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:86444211 Your Discord ID#: 3011ag Reason for ban: Global Rule 1 Length of ban: Permanent Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): I was banned roughly a year ago for violating Global Rule 1, and if I recall correctly there was no sit or further discourse prior to being banned I would have made an appeal before, however due to some personal obligations, I simply did not have time to do so and can talk in a more private setting if there is any questions regarding it I attempted to join recently after finally being able to settle down, and was greeted by the ban message, so I am hoping to be unbanned to return back to a server I had some good times on If there is any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to voice them, as to be frank I am also confused to what was interpreted as "Exploitation/Third Party Software" as is stated in the ruleset Hopefully there is a possibility to get back into the game

By that clip if you look from both POV's that would be VDM because the cops didnt kill her nor was it violent interaction due to her surrendering and not escalating the situation. so due to rules and the way it went out she should get banned for VDM and not a PK so that is a bad ruling with the fact that the man who made the pk wasnt even a cop.
