Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images): Name: Ludwig "Mad Dog" Schultz Date of Birth: December 2nd, 1930 Place of Birth: Hamburg, Germany Known Aliases: Mad Dog, Urkel Affiliations: Sons of Silence MC (Former Charter President - NYC), Hells Angels MC (Charter President - NYC) Backstory: Ludwig Schultz was born in the dockside shadows of Hamburg, a city known for hard workers, hard drinkers, and hard lessons. His father was a machinist, and his mother worked nights in a local bar. Raised in a working-class home, Ludwig grew up with oil on his hands and fire in his chest. He became a skilled mechanic by sixteen, known for rebuilding engines from scrap. But Hamburg’s streets taught him more than wrenches and torque they taught him how to survive. In 1949, at age 19, Ludwig left Germany. He'd been caught up in a few too many fights, one involving a rival gang and a knife. Facing potential charges, He fled to america where he fought in the Korean war serving under the 35th Fighter Squadron. After the war He joined a biker club consisting of ex military members and with connections through his American uncle an Ex Flying Tigers WW2 Vet, he immigrated to New York City, settling in Southside, where industrial neighborhoods reminded him of home. In NYC, he worked in auto shops, fixing muscle cars and Harleys for cash. It was in a Brooklyn garage that he met members of the Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club - Midwest-born outlaws who were slowly expanding east. Ludwig’s grit, mechanical genius, and refusal to back down earned him respect fast. By 1987, he was a patched member, and by 1988, he was President of the NYC-based chapter, known as “Mad Dog” for how unbreakable he seemed on the road. Under his leadership, the chapter grew. Ludwig brought a brutal code of loyalty and brotherhood. He brokered outlaw alliances and held the crew tight, but tension grew with the national leadership. They headed west, where Ludwig forged new connections with the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, drawn by their reach, code, and freedom. He In july 1988, Ludwig officially had to give up the position as the President of the New York City Sons Of Silence Charter After an incident cost him to lose his Warehouse feeling unfit at the time , After a few months depressed being backed by West Coast approval. He returned with his rebranded crew, setting up a clubhouse in a fortified warehouse in Queens. With him came loyalty, legacy, and lessons learned the hard way. Now in about to turn 60, Ludwig Schultz is a grizzled outlaw with deep scars and deeper connections. He's seen both brotherhood and betrayal, built empires and burned bridges. In NYC’s biker underworld, his name carries weight equal parts legend and warning.11 points

I'm making a stand against your boring, standing around RP! I have decided to join every faction on the server, incognito to find out which factions have the best and which have the worst, 'new hire RP'. Don't take it too seriously, it's all for fun. I'm aware that different people will hire people differently, take your factions ranking with a pinch of salt. if your faction isn't listed. I'll be updating with the missing ones as, and when. There are some older reviews that I will also be updating to. For the factions that haven't been reviewed yet, you get the upper hand in knowing, i'm on my way. Rules - There must be a minimum of 5 players online for me to join the faction. - There will be no bias from myself. The ranking is purely based on my experience with being hired into your faction. - I will stay entirely in character and avoid any OOC talk. - I won't let it slip that it's me, just in case there is any bias. - I'll RP a lot with /me's - If the opportunity presents itself, I'll make at least 1 mistake to see how the employer reacts. Takahashi 1/10 I walked into the Pho King and asked for a job. After a few minutes of two people discussing who would hire me, I was brought to the nearby bank and given some clothes. I was then told to stand outside and work security, without being told how. I was left entirely on my own for the full duration of the hire. The only time people would interact with me was to get my name. There was a bunch of mid to higher up guys inside just discussing OOC stuff and minging for almost the whole duration. After my mandatory 30 minutes of being AFK, I was brought into the back and then whitelisted in. I was given no formal introduction, wasn't given any faction rules. Just a pat on the back and told to 'go grind'. PRO: None. CON: Too many people messing around, nobody was serious at all. Lucchese 8/10 I walked into the Blue Lobster and asked for a job. I was pulled into the back and quizzed right away. I was asked what experience I had and was made to answer questions about myself. I was quickly given some clothing and a bat and was put on security. The job was fully explained to me, and I was told who to go to if I had any problems. It wasn't standing outside for long before one of the managers shouted me inside and threw a cloth at me and told me to wipe down some tables. He watched as I was wiping them down, telling me I missed a spot etc. There was also another hire working at the same time who was making a bunch of mistakes, and was getting chewed out for it, which made the RP more exciting. I was then asked to take a milkshake over to a table, I deliberately dropped it on the table and the customer made some noises because it had spilt. The manager apologised on my behalf and made me clean it up and get a fresh one delivered. After that I was returned back to the door. After a small amount of time I was brought to a secluded location and was told that I was being invited into a family, I had the family rules fully explained to me and was eventually whitelisted in. PRO: Good resteraunt RP. Was a little different from the usual standing around, although there was a little of it. Great RP skills of those inside. CON: Could be amped up even more, really give the new hires some bitch work to complete. Rudaj 4/10 I approached their bakery and asked for a job. There was a bit of back and forth with the employer asking me questions, to make sure I fit the bill. He got me fitted for a suit and gave me a bat and told me that I was going to be his personal security and I needed to accompany him whilst he takes care of business. He brought me along to his shipment collection, and to pick up some of his friends. During this time I was accidentally hit by a car and almost killed. The guy who employed me took it personally and made it his mission to track the guy down and make him apologise. This would've been a good way to fill the time with some RP but the employer constantly spoke OOC and just wasn't taking it seriously at all. After some driving around and recon, we found the guy working at the Takahashi gun shop. We went in and demanded an apology, the individual apologised and we moved on. We then went back to the bakery and I was whitelisted in straight away. Wasn't given any low down, or rules etc. PRO: Fun little side mission, although I think if I wasn't hit by a car, I would've ended up standing around for the entire duration. A happy accident. CON: RP wasn't taken seriously at all. Sons of Silence 5/10 Headed to the Dead Dog Saloon and asked for work. I was quickly taken care of, and got situated with a suit and a baseball bat. I was put to work on security, which came with the standard 'standing around RP'. I was tabbed out for almost the entirety of this. Although the hiring RP was incredibly boring, I will note that the faction members stayed in character really well and the people who I did get to interact with, role-played really well. After my mandatory standing around time - I was brought into the warehouse and this is where the RP got a little more exciting. The employer wasn't just going to invite me in. He conducted a full interview before hand. He wanted to know things like where I was from, am I a good mechanic and what certain things meant to me etc. I answered all of the questions and then was whitelisted into the faction. He then reeled off the rules (which actually sounded a lot like the Diamond rules I wrote years ago lmao) PRO: The interview before whitelist was very in-depth and actually made me think about how I would respond, like my answer mattered to me getting into the club or not. CON: Way too much standing around doing fuck all. With an entire bar inside, my entire RP experience was confined to standing outside a door. Altoviti 5/10 I approached the motel and asked one of the workers for a job and he told me to follow him. He took me to the hardware store and clothing store to get situated. We then walked back to the motel and I was told to hang around in case 'something happens'. I waited for 5 or so minutes before he asked me to accompany him to the electronics store and back. After that I headed back to the Motel where I met some management, briefly. I was then tabbed out for around 20 minutes, with utterly no interaction at all. Eventually the manager came back and my employer asked if he could get me in full time. He said he needed another 5-10... I waited. After that I was brought into the Motel back room and asked a few questions and then got invited into the faction. After I was brought in, the manager told me to come with him to the car dealer, where I was given money for a company car. He then took out his own car and told me to drive, to get a feel for the city. He told me to head to Corbizzi's, I was given directions because I didn't know where it was. As we arrived, he brought me up to the Napoli rooms and this is where I was given the full family rules and told what is expected of me. The manager's RP was very good and stayed in character the whole time. As we left Napoli I was introduced to some more whitelisted members, who all interacted with me and asked questions, rather than just fish for my ID. PRO: The post whitelist RP was fun, eventful and I actually felt like I had joined a mob. CON: It's a shame everything before it was incredibly boring, with little to no RP. It's crazy that with a property the size of the motel that new hires aren't cleaning rooms etc. Bonanno 2/10 I approached Dom's Diner and asked the guy outside for a job. He asked a few questions and then said 'wait here whilst I get you some clothes'. Around 5 mins later he returned and gave me some clothes. I put them on and he explained that I would be working security. I was never told how to work security and wasn't even given a bat. I stood around for over half an hour almost entirely AFK. There was occasionally a higher up who would pop in and out and interacted with me and showed his RP skills by making comments on my chars description (i put that I had a silver cross around my neck), but it was mainly to get my name. As time went on there was the odd conversation with my employer but he every time he would go somewhere else and leave me on the door. There wasn't much RP at all. Eventually I was pulled into the back and given the discord link, He didn't have hire perms though, so I was left without a whitelist and told to 'find someone who can hire you in, you are fully hired but you just need to find someone who can whitelist you'. There was no formal introduction. I didn't feel like I was about to join a mob at all. PRO: One of the other hires was always in character. CON: Everything else. Almost no RP at all. Standing around simulator. Supreme Team 6/10 I made a black character and hung out where I knew Supreme hang out. I spoke to a random dude and asked for a job. I was brought to the apartment block near the car dealer and told to hang tight. I met a few people whilst my employer ran off to get me some clothes and a bat. When he came back he gave me them and got me situated. I was standing on the door for maybe 5-10 minutes top when I was then told to get in a car and brought to the docks. From there I was whitelisted in straight away, after joining the discord. From then, I was brought to the car dealer and was set up with a custom car, I was told to get in another car and go with some of my new gang members. I was brought to the ghetto and was told to empty the trunk (it was full of weed growing stuff). I was brought to a room and my employer explained to me how to grow weed and he went through the full process. After some time doing a grow, I accompanied them to to the docks and I was told I need to make 15k in a week to qualify for a promotion. I was told to grind oil, I then left on my own to go and do that. Worth noting that everybody stayed in character pretty much the entire time. Definitely felt the African-American vibe. PRO: Stayed in character, set me about growing rather than standing around. CON: Where this falls short is how quickly I was whitelisted. If the growing and stuff was included BEFORE I was whitelisted then this would've been a higher mark. Also the rules, and formal introduction are needed. The only thing i was told was 'get 15k'. I was never even told the name of the faction lol Gambino 10/10 I approached their restaurant and asked for a job. I was asked my name and briefly quizzed about what I was looking for, my employer was roleplaying with an accent and brought me into the back. He got me situated with a knife and some clothes and he told me to stand at the door, and in the same breath he changed his mind and invited me to go for a walk. I was brought around all of Little Italy and explained where was good, where was not so good etc. We walked through city hall and stopped off at a bakery and had some good restaurant RP where we ate banana bread and talked openly about the city, my history etc. After that we hit a server crash so I just went back to the business and was introduced to somebody else. He took me on a short walk to Napoli where I was frisked. We roleplayed him taking my boot knife off me. I was then brought into a room where I met some shadowy figures and was presented with a choice, take my pay and leave or take a weapon and see how far the Italian RP rabbit hole goes. I of course chose the gun, I was told that there is someone who owes some gambling debts that needs to pay up or I need to take him out. My new hiring rep walked me down to the area and waited outside. I knocked on the door of the boathouse and asked to use the phone because my car had broken down, once inside I pulled a gun and demanded the money from my mark. He shrieked and started shouting about not having it as he spent it on his daughter's cancer treatment. I executed him. Upon walking back to the room I was made to recite an oath, if I wanted to continue on my journey. I was asked to make promises for the faction and the don etc. After answering correctly I was invited in and was offered the discord link. I then went with my hire rep and he showed me where to process, where to obtain oil and where to sell it. Staying in character the entire time. PRO: Outstanding RP. Not once did anybody ever break character, this RP was very reminiscent of when I joined my first RP server back in 2021 (shout out Backwoods and the OG Cassanos). I felt like I was joining a crime family. Not ONCE was I made to wait around doing fucking nothing. CON: The only con I have is that I wasn't really told anybodies nicknames. This review was conducted during some server fallout, luckily I didn't need anybody's names to continue the RP.7 points

Like the typewriter where you can print google docs have a VHS tape that you can embed youtube videos. You can argue that people will use it to put fail rp videos but you can do the same thing with the typewriter. Why should diverge network add this? It will encourage people to make RP videos ingame such as news broadcasts etc.1 point

+1 Gecko is able to do actual biker roleplay without being a scitzo retard1 point
-
Could be a good fit for a true authentic style biker bar would be sick to see lines of motorcycles to have lined up (to despawn in few mins lol) and maybe a bouncer club vibe maybe not a repair garage tho lol I get its plausible but it just would be weird imo1 point

Replying to fox: Bike race isnt a bad idea, A bike showcase is a 50/50 for me since most are the exact same bike but like a hangout isnt bad. I had an idea to do like a hells kitchen show and go to resturants and rate their food and see how they cook under pressure (rolling d20's for fail or success) basically rating their food like guy fierri/Gordon Ramzy. Only reason its bum boying sos is because the character was an ex president of SOS im not making another biker char, im just using what i have. I would try to do a faction event to steal cars and bikes off the streets to "scrap" them but havent seen many if any events like that in like a year. I am willing to suggestions for RP i just cant think of anything atm besides texas holdem or hobo wrestling maybe opening up tobacco store and getting custom cigars/pipes/cigs to sell at a store. I also wanted to open up a Veterans club for war vets to tell war stories and grab a drink. Edit: or even doing ufc fights like the old days having some of the bikers being the fighters1 point

+/- Hm, not a bad application but could be a lot better. Your example of unique RP is seriously lacking. 'Going out to get food', like every other faction on the server. That section is perfect for telling us how your faction is different from others and it just falls totally flat on its's face. I want to hear about stuff like bike races, bike showcases and that kind of stuff, not 'oh we're going to go get food as a group'. I also hate that you're making this application to immediately bum boy the SOS. I understand that people have their allies but it seems weird to just immediately ally with the only other biker group in the server, rather than open it up to some competition with each other. PRO - Another biker club could be fun. - Diversity - Enjoyed the backstory. CON - Extremely lackluster RP ideas. - Basically a sub-faction of SOS. - Gives no actual evidence how this would be any different to SOS.1 point

+1, I think we need more of a variety of actual street gang/bikers within the city. At the current moment SOS is the only biker faction and it would be nice to have a little rivalry.1 point

it is funny how much lack of responsibility you have, you aren't sorry, you don't understand the concept of remorse let alone feel it, nobody cares how much money you've spent, you're an annoying, entitled little brat who was given 100 more chances than anyone else and all of those 100 chances were wasted, even now you still can't get it through your head grow up and goodbye1 point

Name of Character: Saviour Alex Jckson SteamID: https://steamcommunity.com/id/593703264/ Date of PK: 4 august 1989 Reason for PK: i dont know probably sent someone to kill me Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: First of all, I was making money to pay the boss of the Gambino family when this guy came asking about Jesus Rossi, trying to find out if anyone knew him. I mentioned that I knew him, and then he wanted to talk to me in the apartments. Ultimately, he shot pk me. I’m still not sure why I got pked me, because a long time ago, I was trying to find Jesus Rossi to save him, not to harm him. It’s a long story. If anyone has a clip of what happened, please let me know.0 points

Your appeal has been reviewed and denied. We have determined this PK to be reasonable and/or justified. As a staff team, we apologize for the length of time it has taken for a decision to be made on this appeal, we have been discussing the ins and outs of this appeal and have ultimately come to an agreement to deny this appeal. The use of the rule you are trying to quote, OOC means of communication will invalidate it, does not apply in this situation. The key word in the rule you are quoting is MAY, and this rule is generally used for gloating during and after a pk. The main rule that we kept coming back to is found under the PK Reasons & Rules section and states the following: If you are attempting to PK someone, during the hit you are also PK active. Meaning if you're attempting to kill or have just killed the victim but you were also killed you are subject to a PK, so don’t be reckless when carrying out these serious murders. This includes being killed by a third party who is acting in defense of the victim, or a police officer trying to apprehend you, moments after the hit itself takes place. As the hitman your goal is to carry out the hit and escape the area to hide out for next 15 minutes. [You may not disconnect until this minimum timer has expired. You will be PK'ed for LTAP'ing to avoid death] Why yes there can be a claim that Toast had initially accepted the pk but he gave the faction time to amend the orders given, this did not affect how you performed the PK, but more delayed the timing of the pk. Ultimately it was your choice to carry out the hit in a very public space, greatly increasing the chance of you being killed after. Watching the clip, you run up to the individual and you can clearly see that Detective Martin Riggs is talking to the crowd, whether he was in uniform or not, it was clear that he was present. You also shoot in the direction he is standing, so it is a natural reaction of him to return fire, as he had assumed you were shooting at him or at the crowd of people. Valuing your life rules do play a factor in this situation as well, as this PK was done in a reckless way that left you vulnerable to return fire. The fault of this PK falls on the HC of your faction for not giving proper orders, and yourself for carrying out those orders in a public setting. You may not re-appeal this PK.0 points

honestly, I was thinking of adding a new punching system, with the addition of blocking attacks from surely one of those white shirts, and adding kicks as well. Not only does this allow for a new way to defend yourself or fight, but kicks will also allow you to break down doors, like the cops who are criminal a criminal or finding a criminal inside his room. This allows the cops, detectives etc. to have a very realistic rp experience, similar to 80s/90s action movies. Also, everyone else can use kicks, but only for a good reason that has a motivation that makes sense. The fatality/glory kill should be removed because it's too powerful and you risk being killed repeatedly. However, the neck-breaking ability can remain, but only if you're part of a faction. For example: there's a traitor in the family or someone who killed one of your family members. After a couple of minutes, if you don't want to shoot him, you can break his neck. If you think about it, this can be a very realistic rp game, similar to the Mafia. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2374923913&searchtext=kicking https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2106330193&searchtext=kicking0 points
