Jmoorsey, Honestly as you're constantly spamming tickets with 'former staff btw' you should know better as a former staff member! You "attacked the wrong person" and then attempted to rdm the guy with the hammer and got you killed, even if there was a clip to prove it was not rdm due to some what reason, you still broke NLR and you returned to the scene with your bike within 2 minutes to intentionally run them over and you were laughing about it! Don't think you should be unbanned and consider yourself lucky that it was only a 3d ban you received 3 notes in a span of 5 days. I don't dispute that I pulled out the weapon and it was generally pointed in the direction of Senior Officer Benedetto Porcello but this was an accident, and as is evident in the Clip below I immediately put the weapon away and made *no* attempt to attack or threaten the officer. It is blatantly clear that no genuine attempt was made to initiate combat on my part, but despite this the Officer immediately escalates the situation by gunning me down (Once again, after my gun is already away and there is absolutely no threat to his life). Furthermore, the situation that lead to me PK happened on the 15th of July, it is now the 17th and my character has only been killed tonight. I was told adamantly on the 15th during a sit with Yuki that I would not be getting PK'd because it was clear that the situation was an accident. Although I don't believe the original reason is valid either, I also believe it is extremely unfair to wait two whole days before acting on this despite previous staff members who were looking after the situation stating that it was not PK'able and that I had nothing to worry about. Had this just been decided at the time I would take no issue but leaving me ignorant to the seemingly ongoing debate over my character potential PK was unfair, especially considering when the PK did eventually go through I was left totally unaware until I got onto the game and found out myself. Hello! After reviewing with other staff we have come to a decision. While we do agree there was some level of conflict going on between you two, we don't view any of these as inherent rule breaks by you especially worthy of a ban such as this. For the RDM bait, we reviewed logs and found there may have been a slight case of mistaken identity but you did in fact have a valid reason to be upset with him. You were ran over by another player multiple times prior to your interaction with the ticket maker. Logs show then the ticket maker hit you with his car several times leading up to where his clip begins. For the LTAP, this has also been deemed to be false. The ticket that was initially made wasn't even against you. It was for the man in the other truck. We have no reason to believe you left maliciously following the time stamps of when the ticket was made, claimed, and you leaving. To top everything off, it would appear the ticket maker did not make the ticket till he attempted to resolve the issue himself in game. He pulled his gun from the ATM, attempted to execute the driver of the other truck, failed, and was killed for it. This is when he goes to type out multiple different ticket claims before settling on 'vehicle minge'. When situations are an IC conflict we want them to be handled IC, if they are OOC or rule breaks then we will step in as needed as staff. In this case, he attempted to use staff to get back at someone for an IC conflict that he was on the losing end of and we do not want to set that as a precedent way to handle things. You were on a massive minge spree and to be completely honest I should have banned you earlier in the day for your earlier actions which was repeatedly RDMing a guy because he called you a nigger. However, I didn't punish you nor did any other member of staff who was online at the time. What you were banned for is everything seen in this clip. You were harassing a lot of people throughout the day and just overall being a nuisance to everyone on the server. You're quite lucky to get such a short ban considering you also were noted multiple times in the past week for VDM & RDM.

This falls under quite a niche spot in the rules, as a result many staff members were confused given the validity of the PK. You were pk'ed following this rule: ■ Breaking Fear RP while being detained by Police. If the police are detaining you for a crime and you break FEAR rp by pulling a weapon on them the NYPD are still within their right to react in self defense. This can and will be considered initiating a violent confrontation with police EVEN if you never managed to fire the weapon. Which can have possibly caused some misconnections or confusions. We know in this situation you did not initiate violence on the officer (You never attempted to shoot), you were not under fear RP nor were you being detained, as well as having put the gun away. Hello Banning Admin here, I Banned you because of a clip provided here click this on this clip whilst it clearly seemed like your buddy was blocking him and you were punching the vehicle constanlty trying to bait out a reaction. Before he ran you and some others over (he also got pushed a bit by the purple vehicle), then you steal his vehicle and drive off a bit and get out again. You punch him and then try to tell the cop he is chasing you after you punched him. To me this looks very mingey, He got his pistol and tried to shoot the guy with the purple vehicle and got killed, To me this whole situation could have been avoided, if this user is breaking the rules please do not fight fire with fire, I checked damage logs and I couldnt find any log of him starting the situation and since you did not have a clip nor your buddy it's very difficult to side with a story that cannot be backed up yk? Hello all, Let me break this down for you, because this was discussed in depth between the Senior Administration team and the UA team, and we've come to a ruling regarding this. The problem at the base of this pk, despite all the dribble that's been talked about, is the orders that were given. The orders that were given, were invalid. Being a "Burden" is not a pk order. Leaving the family is invalid because he never left the family. So, this is a cleanup. You guys are trying to find a valid reason after the fact, and we've decided to make a decision regarding this kind of conduct. If you give dons orders on someone, and the reason is invalid, but you totally have a good reason to do it, and you neglected to actually give that as the reason, the dons orders will be overturned. As is in this case. Obviously there was some schizo posting about this guy wanting to leave and steal some funds, or something of the like, and that wasn't mentioned in the orders at all. Obviously there was some talk about the potential of him retiring, whether or not it was a rumour, which could have been used as a reason, but it wasn't actually mentioned. The orders given to the staff indicated that he had left the faction; he didn't. He was kicked out of the discord. The orders given to the staff indicated that he was a "Burden", with no further explanation, and it's not even really explained here in the post cleanup. At the end of the day, the staff member accepting this PK, should have NOT have accepted this PK. As a result of the failures of the don/HC that gave the orders, and the failure of the staff member to properly verify the information regarding the leaving the faction, and the invalidity of "being a burden", this PK will be overturned. With that, there are some strict parameters to be played by on part of both parties in this situation. Firstly, all knowledge of the Gambino Crime Family that Luca has is hereby completely voided. Likewise, the knowledge the family has about Luca is completely voided. Any attempts to regain anything from Luca, i.e. money or items, without NEW proper cause (post date this pk, if he actually wrongs the faction and the faction wishes to retaliate, which will require documentation). will be met with staff disciplinary action. If Luca attempts to snitch, or beef without NEW (post date this pk, if the faction actually wrongs him and he wishes to retaliate, which will require documentation) and proper cause with the faction, it will be met with the same staff disciplinary action. Let it be known for future orders that this rule will always apply, if you give invalid orders the pk will be overturned. No matter how good of a reason you figure out before or after. Hi! Banning admin here. I received multiple reports of a player breaking NLR. When bringing all three ticket makers to a sit, they had reported you had come back to the area of their business and repeatedly were interacting with them after they had told you to leave and even killed you. They could not provide a clip so I had to check your logs to piece together where you were. For context all of these logs are in this exact zone, which can be confirmed by reviewing staff as well. The first interaction in your logs that was with in the timeframe of potential NLR breaks was here (4533.431152,5465.463867,-55.968750), your first death. With your first combat interaction with the same group on a new life soon after here (5300.614258,5540.248535,-45.587456). This then lead to your second death here (4945.826660,4292.528320,-63.968750). Yes, it is right at the 15 minute mark so generally I would allow some grace; however, you have two previous notes in the past month for the exact same offenses. Both NLR and NITRP. This explains the NLR. Now, the NITRP. For this, I pulled your chat logs seeing if you were speaking in voice or over text. And sure enough, you are a typer. Sorry, and this will be embarrassing on a public forum for all to see, but here are your chat logs. So, to confirm you were still interacting with them, I pulled a log from around the times of your two deaths. That log is here (4149.584473,5273.385742,-23.968750) and can also be confirmed by positional logs. Again, reinforcing your NLR rule break, but also look through those logs. That's not RP, definitely not serious RP. You have a history of being a minge and all of these logs confirmed that for me. While it may be your first ban, you have two POs for the exact same situation. Which means you have on two other separate instances been told this behavior is not welcome and not appreciated. The rules surrounding a cop initiating the gun fight invalidating the pk only apply to the person to which the officer shoots, as long as they have not broken fear RP or initiated a shootout with the officer first. An example would be: A man is running away from police. Police officer opens fire on him. He is now free to retaliate against that officer without the risk of PK. However; in this case the officer had a valid reason to shoot your friend, and you are to begin with not your friend. This protection does not apply to you. You saw your friend get shot by a cop, and you shot at the cop and lost. This is a valid PK, you should not shoot at cops who have not shot at you. Hi! PK'ing admin here. So, as you broke down already the officer came on to your property to detain you and question you. This is valid as the officer visibly watched you shoot the car. While detaining you, a friend of yours pulls out your weapon and aims it at the officer. This lead to a valid kill by the officer. This was a separate violent conflict from yours. On to your and why you were PK'd. While you may defend your friends from other citizens, criminal factions etc, that does not apply to officers the same way. Their conflict was over and then you chose to fire your weapon at the officer starting your own confront with him. You inevitably lost that gun fight and died leading to your PK.

Nothing was found to be against the rules in this situation, no NLR, no cheating, no metagaming, etc. Other parties have shown plenty of context that helps re-enforce this situation as a valid PK.

The governors mansion takes up a large portion of the map and adds next to nothing for Roleplay and has been used in less events than you can count on your hands. The old townhouses created an area for people to own their own property and created fun roleplay. World Corp. also was another option for player owned property and some fun roleplay was held there. Either of those two options would add areas for roleplay and more people coming out of their properties to interact with each other more, also another place for cops to patrol. Remove Bingus's mansion and give us more townhouses or World Corp. in its place! Also people are mentioning that the Theater is useless, I agree, I haven't ever seen it used for anything other than drug deals. Remove it if it means more townhouses or bringing back World Corp.

I've already admitted to being annoying, that's pretty common on the server, and I don't think the rules say you can't annoy players lol. I just don't see how me being annoying is me breaking the rules, they had many options to deal with it IC'ly and didn't. When they killed me, I would leave them alone and go do something else. I didn't die and then return straight to the place that never happened. you even said that by saying "yes, it's right at the 15 minute mark" I'm aware of that rule and I try to follow it to the best of my abilities. also yeah when you said "you were in this exact zone" yeah, that's where I got killed the second time when they made the NLR report after I left the hospital. I didn't die there originally to break NLR. I was killed outside the PD near the main road whilst trying to flee to the police station. (before that the last time I died outside town hall was like 30 minutes prior) so how is that the same zone lol its literally totally different streets. so with that logic, what do I do when I respawn, hide in the hospital for 15 minutes despite the fact I wasn't even killed at the town hall ?? (where they killed me again and made the NLR report on me) also your saying I was warned before, the only thing I was warned for verbally was for breaking NLR where I said sorry, in my previous sit the guy was even mad that I called him names and the staff member told him to just deal with it and I would only be punished for NLR ( I forget who that staff member was but I'm sure you guys have it logged)

(Fists, melee weapon) As continued disrespect could realistically start a fight. The user then has free choice on how to respond/retaliate. If they choose to flee you may not kill them. a. If the user is attacked they may flee and return later (5 minutes maximum) to exact revenge on the assailants as described under killing rule 6. b. If the user is subject to an active threat via knife or gunpoint they can choose to retaliate or instead leave peacefully. However they may not return later to attack them without sufficient reason as the previous situation had already ended.

Hello, Unfortunately I was the one that administrated the PK on your character. To begin with, I would like to apologise for this PK being a little delayed. I understand that you were told by two different admins that you wont be getting PK'd as a result of this situation and getting killed from it 2 days later can be frustrating. So for that I apologise. Now to get to the whole point of this appeal. The reason why your character was PK'd was due to it being deemed that the chances of you accidentally pulling out your weapon whilst your friend/factionmate is getting arrested is highly unlikely, more probable that you had intentions on shooting this officer in defense of your friend.
