+1 Allholyheaven has a wealth of experience on the server, is commited to gainful RP and overall having a jersey themed crime family is creative and will add flavor to the server. Honestly, everyone says they are sick of Italian factions, yet the only ones around are the ones that have been around from the beginning. The newly made factions always seem to be non italian and it is rare that they stick around. I have lost count at how many black and muslim factions that have been made over the years. And they never seem to last. Not to mention the name is 1980s mafia rp. And it takes place in New York. To new players that have never heard of Mafia RP and is their first time to the server, I guarantee they will be thinking the same thing that I did when I joined. Italian Mafia. That should reinforce the presence of italians in the city. Looking forward to seeing some oldschool RP brought back to the city. In the beginning that was what this server was all about. It has my vote.

+/- PRO - Different nationality - Some interesting RP ideas [needs more padding, see below] - Decent play time. CON - Backstory is extremely lackluster. You rely too much on 'we're doing this because the italians did it'. Doesn't make sense to me that Greek nationals would go 'oh lets set up in the US because the Italians did it and are making a lot of money'. I want to hear about the beginnings of the family, how did they come to be, what are their names and a REAL reason to go to the US. Your backstory didn't make me want to read more. - Your RP ideas, whilst quite interesting aren't padded enough IMO. You talk about doing a sort of 'olympics' style event, but then in the next line you say 'Oh but we can't be bothered to make the dupe until we get approved'... adding images and putting the time in can only help an application. - You need to think more about how you're going to stand out as a faction, nothing in your app tells me how your faction is going to be different than any other faction that gets in. Tell me how you're different. - Walls of text. I know using a google doc isn't necessary but it really helps the reader to engage with the story. A huge block of text isn't very nice to look at. Use of images can help too.

This backstory doesn't really put much thought into what the faction really is. Kinda just feels like you put it together just to get it done. A humble group of people regardless of ethnicity don't just move to America become bullied and decide fuck it let's smuggle drugs. There is a progressive history that leads to becoming an organized crime family. Some are bullied by local mobs and and try their hardest to survive the exploitation and extortion, others will work with them and eventually break off and do their own organized crime. Your backstory basically says "we moved, had a hard time, decided you know what let's smuggle drugs." There's no real rhyme or reason to why just that they figured hey were having a tough time living let's do it. Humble people don't make that jump like that.

224 word count for your back story, while yes the question does say 250+ minimum, read some of the other accepted applications to understand what the expectations are. you dont need to do 500 or 250 or 800 words, but a large majority of the other apps are more in depth about their backstories. also !time ingame to see your playtime.

You have x13.39 more time banned, then you do of playtime. If you did truly make a mistake, you would've reconnected, but you didn't. You disconnected at 2024-10-19 02:09:28, you then got banned at 2024-10-19 02:21:04, and only tried rejoining the server, at 2024-10-19 05:09:07. That's almost 3 hours after you "accidentally" disconnected. You are a serial LTARPer and should not be unbanned until you understand the consequences of ruining others roleplay, by leaving the server intentionally.

Banning admin here, Not only was the Fail Corruption breaking Rule 6 & 11 6. You may not mug people or commit any other obvious general crime as stated in the first line of this sub section. 11. You may not act corrupt for a faction you are apart of or are allied with on different characters. TLDR: The one week wasn't only for the metagame, but for the Fail Corruption x2. I've many bans for fail corruption, its not an in character issue. Regular corruption is an in character issue. The many many unknown moments where you, receiving information in discord, from you turning the corner and helping your friends, to you all already waiting at the mugging location. You as an ex-staff member should know the rules, and not rely on something that can or cannot be proven (Caboose saying it was allowed). I think 1 week is fair considering I didn't add any extra time for the extensive amount of metagaming happening in the two clips.

What about Gol D. Roger then? That one is also vac banned.... Lying on your ban appeal wont get you unbanned, 2/3 accounts that you were alting on (regardless if it was hacked or not) still means you were hacking on those accounts, and got banned for it. Why the hell would someone hack an account, just to join this ONE specific Mafia RP server, and get it banned for cheating huh?

Banning admin here, Joshua Withers made a ticket about your body blocking a door, you exclaimed that only the gods could move you and that your roleplay was being broken. I moved you from the door multiple times and told you in a voice when it was only you in the room that if you continued to do that you'd be warned/noted. You continued to do it and I stayed for a couple of minutes because something seemed off. I then see that you're being extremely uncooperative with the police officers with consistent insults, and not just regular "you're stupid" insults apart of roleplay, but insults that would take up 99% of your sentence. You said you were trying to talk through the walls and when I told you that they're soundproof, you said "Hold on, let me speak out of character" then continued to barrade me with insults exclaiming that the server was broken and it was my fault that the cells were soundproof because of a shitty "bug". I had myself and another staff member, explain to you multiple times its on purpose. The officer had already given you options of a lawyer, court, or plea deal. After 30 minutes of no roleplay interaction, you are set free. You then spammed and made multiple tickets regarding "no one responding" once again. I then told you, again, that when a lawyer is in play, it is not the police's duty to set you free as they cannot control if someone wants to represent you or not. A lawyer shows up, then leaves after talking with you for 30 seconds. You were given multiple chances to cooperate and be respectful, and I left out the list of insults you called me because I understand you're frustrated. However, I came to you with a level head until I gagged you multiple times, yet you continued to hound me with insulting comments. TLDR: Multiple chances given, refused to roleplay with police, lawyers, and anyone who talked to you, the only time you responded to questions was to barrage everyone in the room with insults, you were intolerable to players and staff members, you were auto-plead guilty because of this and told the reason behind it, yet still, instead of attempting to dispute it, just screamed and kicked like a small child having a temper tantrum, you needed some time to cool down and that's what the 3 days will do.

After further investigation, you were released by a Corrupt Cop who was already dealt with in character. You had zero power over actually being released therefore you cannot know when you're allowed to leave or not. Originally, you were banned for LTARP because the PD was under assumption that you disconnected and were not released by said Cop. Your ban appeal has been reviewed and accepted. The ban will be lifted from your account shortly. If it was deemed an invalid ban, it will also be removed from your record.

In the end, your PET flags were removed for the type of prop you placed at first, distance, location, etc... Yes you were not given any warnings about it (talking about the flags), but we as admins shouldn't have to. Especially if you have already received a recent note about it. Your attitude was generally not helping to resolve the situation either. Once you understand that props are meant to be used to enhance roleplay and not avoid or overrule, then sure I absolutely agree you should have your PET flags back.
