What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * Mainly because I enjoy this community, the people in it and the server itself and want to do more for the community and server by applying myself and previous staffing experience to further learn and apply on diverge. I wish to become apart of the staff to also help take care of the server, it's rules and the players and believe I can fit into the team as well as being an even more helpful active member of the community knowing most of the people, I want to also be able to assist the team and people in any way shape or form in the role of a staff member and take it to the next level. When i started playing diverge I had about just under 2k hours on gmod.. Now I got 5k hours... I thoroughly enjoy this community, server and the people and want to be able to help, experience a new aspect. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I do bring experience with me, having previously staffed in other servers, other games as well as owning some myself. I have developed a positive rapport with a lot of the other active members of the community and understand the fine lines and boundaries related to the rules. I would call my self a peoples person able to deal with situation respectfully and professionally, particularly conflict resolutions. I am someone who is understanding and can be diplomatic, however assertive when required especially in dealing with problems and tickets, able to put biases aside and mitigate them as best as I can and my foot down regardless if they are friends or not- ensuring to conduct my responsibilities correctly and as how they should be conducted. I can dedicate a lot of time and able to communicate clearly and be responsible. Having played on this server for a long while, meeting old players from before Diverge and current ones, I am able to say I can get along with them and use my skills and past experiences to assist in enforcing the rules whilst keeping a good rapport with the people - which I believe allows me to be more effective when dealing with issues. In addition, I have a good foundational understanding of the rules, knowing what to do, when to do it and how to do it if at all permissible. Being friendly and interacting with many other staff members, I would say I have a good relation with some of those on the team and hope to also build even better relations with others too. From my time playing, I am someone who was banned a lot at the start of my time on diverge, however overtime I've put actual intent and motivation to read the rules and play within them. I able to be a team player and not hesitate to reasonably assist or ask for assistance and take my role seriously as there is a huge amount of responsibility riding on us to fulfil our responsibilities which I understand and aim to adhere to. In addition I do play with malicious intent, so I am approachable and ready to assist. I am someone who is a quick learner, being able to learn from mistakes and get better. I am someone who intends to always do right and be just, knowing when to do/say things and when not to do/say things. SCP Secret Laboratory: 1, SCP Lockdown Community Manager/Head Admin ~ 1 year - - 2023/2024. Minecraft: 1. Moderator & Admin old MC server around 2013 around 3 months (Firecraft). 2. Minecraft server owner 2013- Around 2 months (closed it down); 3. CanadiaCraft 2012 - Trial-Mod/Mod before got shutdown; 4. MinecraftTowny 2015 - Admin - 9 months - server closed down. If so, why?: Yes, I had quite the extensive history mostly related to RDM (most of them were accidental might I add...anywho kidding aside), RDM POs, one for failRP, exploiting (which were promptly raised as bugs to staff), and an old one for powergame and NITRP if i recall correctly. Quite a few of these bans had unbans issued after appealing as some were mistakes or unjust. There were a few times it was warranted and the long breaks showed me I do want to be involved in the server and not muck about. My most recent ban was 2x RDM including RDM in a sit, after someone rage baiting actually managed to make me rage (rare right?) however since returning we blessed it up and moved on. They laughed at me and taunted me for getting a ban and it got to me. Not proud of it. Made it only worse for myself. And I learnt a lesson that day, not to get rage baited.. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: * I would say I am well known in the community. I am known to be a civilian and judge character main. People are aware that I am able to provide them with assistance related to Legal RP as a lawyer/advisor or other RP that involves getting people out of arrests... cleaning things up... being a middle man in sourcing goods, clothing or products... being a test dummy for their new hired... security services... knowledge about other things related to court, law, rp, server rules etc... providing other goods or services whilst maintaining a good rapport and getting paid. In addition people know me for having good and funny spontaneous RP based on whatever is happening around us, whether it is opening up certain shops for clothing/moonshine... doing construction work... or other unique RP scenarios. As well as assisting in their clothes or build designs, giving input etc. As a casual player who can be serious when required, I believe I can be viewed someone who is dependable related to certain situations, particularly by allies. I built rapport, trust and respect with many people and intend to do so with whomever I may. I tend to avoid places that do very serious RP events to not infringe on the RP going on. Those factions and players I am close with I tend to spend more time around them, however when asked to leave or when serious things are going on (drug trades etc) I most certainly oblige. I would say people are aware I know my boundaries and am respectful.. but they are also aware if prompted will fight back. I can be classed as annoying at times, and it is fair dos as sometimes it happens and people would ban me from places, but we eventually kiss and make up afterwards for it is not in my intention to be a nuisance and people know it's more so "harmless" annoyance. All in all I would hope people find me respectful, fun and an interesting person to be around. A few may view me goofy/silly at times (within reasonable grounds of the on going RP and rules of the server). With those I am close with we may goof around between us however it is within the rules and can be humorous. Essentially good times, good laughs and good events. I will state at the start of my time here I was more so disliked than liked, particularly being labelled as a cop baiting minge. But with time and effort I can happily say thank god that things have changed for the better, and people have given me a chance which I have taken and accepted and hopefully returned the favour. They allowed me into their circles - entrusted me with a lot which normal civilians would certainly not be privy too and that they trust me - for I am not a man who intends to break their word or bond. What do you do?: I would record, document and gather evidences to provide to UA. Abuse shouldn't be occurring. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would say this could certainly constitute as 'possible' Bias. Unfortunately bias exists in all that we do whether intentionally or unintentionally and regarding the dealing of bias, I believe a more preventative approach can be ideal, for example I would avoid taking such tickets unless absolutely necessary, and will communicate with other staff who are online and request for them to deal with it to mitigate potential bias ensuring to raise potential conflict of interest/bias to ensure the ticket is dealt with appropriate and justly. If it becomes a case where I must deal with the ticket, then I shall - ensuring my actions are just and appropriate regardless if they are close friends or not ensuring to attempt biases do not influence my decisions.

But if I'm doing some Role play i would finish it and take the ticket if no one has not taken it already. If it turns in to mass rdm I would stop what i am doing at take the ticket. What do you do?:I would get Info like clips ect of what they are doing. If i find anything that i think could be brought up to ua or higher up staff member I would inform them. If nothings found or there's not enough info i would just let them know i have seen them doing it and let them investigate. Does it constitute possible bias?I would avoid the ticket to avoid bias if I knew that this person was in my faction or friend, this will help people get the most fair ruling rather than something that can come off biased. If there was no one else on to take it then I would try to come at it with a very open and neutral headspace. Make sure all the proof is there to make a unbiased decision.

it’s why your roles weren’t taken immediately because your not supposed to know there were orders on you that’s like the whole thing with doing hits you were already retired when this went on you still had your roles cause in character you were still around (eclipse is a good example) we hadn’t killed you yet. We’re not gonna remove your roles before we kill you cause that would be too obvious. We only took your roles because of the upcoming conflict and fear you may leak information to the other side. Regarding giving your f3 it was not the next day you were extremely inactive back then (retired through discord dms) Falcon and I only got your name when we weren’t able to carry out the orders yet due to Patch not being online and you disconnecting soon after giving us your name so in all it made your hit a very delicate matter and we finally got you thanks to the trunk update which forced you to get on your character. Yes you were pulled into the back to have a conversation about it which you disconnected in the middle of rp. Why would we call you to a sit down if the last chance of roleplay we had with you ended in you disconnecting from the game. You may think it was a joke and at most disrespect but you blatantly ignored the rp situation and failed to listen to the commands of the underboss in character which led to your untimely demise. You became a burden to this family of ours and no longer trusted within our outfit I know your trying to make it seem like it’s all ooc bullshit but you KNEW you were gonna die and instead of contacting staff abt it being “ooc” you just never hopped on and now when you finally got wacked you blame ooc issues when it’s your actions in character that got you killed.

The community is unmatched compared to any other roleplay server. But as I have recently returned to it after many new updates I have noticed an increase of lots of newer players as well as "Minges" or "Cheaters" and I would love to do my part to keep the community strong and upstanding. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I try my absolute best to stay on good terms with other players, faction members, and the community as a whole. Especially the NYPD, I am always very active and friendly with people and even help out newer players or also known as "White shirts" get started in the server and show them how to get employment in many different ways. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Sometime in 2023 there was a fishing event where a captain of a ship was hiring people to help him hunt down a megalodon in the ocean. Everyone was able to use heavy weapons and it was extremely awesome. Have any staff members recommended you? How do you handle this?: Varies on the situation in my opinion. If I am busy and in a roleplay scenario with another player and I just suddenly get killed. I would definitely make a ticket to have a staff member deal with the situation. Just because I would also be a staff member doesn't mean I should just be able to switch characters and abuse power and instantly escalate the situation. There's multiple staff members for a reason. But another scenario would be if I were to be RDM'd and it was late at night with zero staff members on duty. Then I think it is appropriate to take the matter into my own hands as there is nobody else that could realistically do anything at the moment in time. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would definitely take note and possibly even record the situation. If the power abuse isn't anything too insane I might lay off reporting it for the time being. but if it continues or gets worse I will most certainly report it to a higher management along with any evidence I have. Does it constitute possible bias?: Even if its hard having to take action against a close friend or member Its still unacceptable to be RDM'ing and Minging in a server like this. This is not DarkRP and in my opinion its unacceptable no matter what relationship you have with the person. The only time I would see bias being even a little acceptable is if it was an accusation like using a loud voice changer or or something simple like such where it would only require a warning. but RDM shouldn't have any room for bias.

Hello all, Let me break this down for you, because this was discussed in depth between the Senior Administration team and the UA team, and we've come to a ruling regarding this. The problem at the base of this pk, despite all the dribble that's been talked about, is the orders that were given. The orders that were given, were invalid. Being a "Burden" is not a pk order. Leaving the family is invalid because he never left the family. So, this is a cleanup. You guys are trying to find a valid reason after the fact, and we've decided to make a decision regarding this kind of conduct. If you give dons orders on someone, and the reason is invalid, but you totally have a good reason to do it, and you neglected to actually give that as the reason, the dons orders will be overturned. As is in this case. Obviously there was some schizo posting about this guy wanting to leave and steal some funds, or something of the like, and that wasn't mentioned in the orders at all. Obviously there was some talk about the potential of him retiring, whether or not it was a rumour, which could have been used as a reason, but it wasn't actually mentioned. The orders given to the staff indicated that he had left the faction; he didn't. He was kicked out of the discord. The orders given to the staff indicated that he was a "Burden", with no further explanation, and it's not even really explained here in the post cleanup. At the end of the day, the staff member accepting this PK, should have NOT have accepted this PK. As a result of the failures of the don/HC that gave the orders, and the failure of the staff member to properly verify the information regarding the leaving the faction, and the invalidity of "being a burden", this PK will be overturned. With that, there are some strict parameters to be played by on part of both parties in this situation. Firstly, all knowledge of the Gambino Crime Family that Luca has is hereby completely voided. Likewise, the knowledge the family has about Luca is completely voided. Any attempts to regain anything from Luca, i.e. money or items, without NEW proper cause (post date this pk, if he actually wrongs the faction and the faction wishes to retaliate, which will require documentation). will be met with staff disciplinary action. If Luca attempts to snitch, or beef without NEW (post date this pk, if the faction actually wrongs him and he wishes to retaliate, which will require documentation) and proper cause with the faction, it will be met with the same staff disciplinary action. Let it be known for future orders that this rule will always apply, if you give invalid orders the pk will be overturned. No matter how good of a reason you figure out before or after. It is YOUR responsibility to give proper orders. It is YOUR responsibility as a don to ensure that your people are giving proper orders. They should be specific and concise. Leave no room for ambiguity. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Unfortunately it is just not viable to give users access to these types of permissions. Having staff as a prerequisite which comes with certain obligations helps to mitigate the possibility of abuse. If you're someone who plays the server a lot and wants to become a GM, staffing alongside that really isn't as much work as you may expect. We easily have the most relaxed environment to staff in, with only a 20 ticket a week minimum. Application standards are not that high either.

They are, you never asked to retire in character you were lied to on an ooc level for a false sense of security for your eventual hit. You retired in one of the hardest points in our history and every enforcer has been given your hit upon promotion to the rank. Frankly, your just a guy who’s been scared to get on for months and now when you finally got wacked your crying ooc. You can’t just not hop on for 9 months then blame ooc issues cause we took your roles when you joined colombo discord.

it is an alt, but both accounts hasn't been used in ages. i wasn't sure which was was banned. but this is my main, the one i originally appealed on is a shared account between a few friends so not sure which one was the actual main apologies. but everything i said in the appeal still stands too would really appreciate a second chance but again i understand if not. alot has changed in the last year or two so would love a chance to replay on your server.

That entire situation with you and falcon was handled when it occoured and you did get my F3. It was nothing to do with refusing to do it nor standing on a high horse. It was simply a joke which after like a few days i did give you guys the f3. As you can see in my screenshot i clearly got permission to leave by Happy. If that situation was enough for me to be PKd for why was there never a sitdown or any reprimand for it and as you said yourself the orders were given out six months ago when the situation that Patch is saying is the reason i died occoured closer to 9 or 10 months ago whilst i was still in the faction and not retired. There was nothing repeated about the thing that went on with me not giving you my F3 and either way its at max disrespect.

There were never any IC conversations about my retirement and its not like this was the first time i had retired in the past 5 years ive retired 3-4 times only once in that time have we had an IC conversation about my retirement. If Patch and Happy wanted to have a conversation with me about my retirement they could have asked but didnt and in the same way they could have called me for an IC conversation and then PKd me during that but they didnt. They let me retire and the only interaction i had with anyone in gambinos regarding it was via DMs. Im not using discord DMs to avoid anything i am proving that you saying that i didnt pay for something is false because even if OOC is used you wont find anything about me not paying for something or not giving any money back because it never happened. If you cant prove it OOCly how would you ever prove it ICly. And again there was never a reprimand for Disrespect nor a sitdown for anything that occoured. If you wanted someone could have easily reached out in the last months but nobody did instead my roles were removed and i was only given access to role request and then i was timed out for over a week again without any communication for that entire week as to why it happened until Happy contacted me where again it does not exactly seem like he is trying to have me PKd. To me it seems like this is more of an OOC issue than it is an IC one. Because the only time yall seemingly started to care was when i joined the Colombo discord and got roles in there

First of all. When i joined the Colombo discord they were still in the commission on trial period which they had been for a like a few months or something and i already explained it to happy when that happened. I dont have a character in their faction and never have had one and how the fuck am i supposed to know if you have orders on me or not that makes absolute 0 sense and is seriosly an invalid argument for anything to do with me joining their discord which is OOC anyways. Second of all when you are saying you placed orders on me i was still in the faction for several months without you doing absolutely anything still had roles and wasnt retired and played a decent bit pretty often. And again i did give you the F3 like the next day or something. And no i wasnt pulled into any room we was in the backroom of the La Volpe when that was at City hall i had already said i was going off and then as a joke i ran outside you werent even in the room when it happened if i remember correctly (but i may be wrong its been what 9-10 months since that happened) And again i wasnt retired there was never a reprimand nor any kind of sitdown for any situation that you are saying happened.

"Becoming a burden and leaving after taking our oath" These were my pk orders. Leaving after taking our oath isn’t true because A. I never left the faction whitelist and B. I retired, was given retired roles and then didn’t play. You don’t retire by going up to someone ingame and asking to retire you just dm them like everyone else does on this server.. Becoming a burden. Don’t understand this one since your reasons for why I was wacked were along the lines of not giving my name to other made guys. I had been in the faction for 4+ years having one of the oldest chars and had the same rank as the people who asked for my name. Once I was demanded to give my name out I did. I was asked not even months before this to step in for crew deals several times and i was even asked to step in as a LT for a week. This does not sound like someone that is inactive nor someone that is a burden to the faction actually quite the opposite. At the same time i was trusted enough to keep records for the gun store even after you made the new form. That doesnt sound like someone that is a burden either. Keep in mind the time when the La Volpe shit was going on would be around 5-6 months before i even retired. I was offered right hand man LT after the la volpe situation. I was told to keep watch of the gun registry for our most important business after this situation. I was asked to do drug deals for the faction by the underboss of the faction after the La Volpe shit happened. In my time in Gambinos i kicked up millions of dollars every month. You pk reasons aren’t really the same as why I actually died
