  1. Name of Faction: Novgorod Bratva Number of Members (Minimum of 5): 17 and more to come Type Of Faction (Family, Triad, Street Gang, etc): Family Ethnic Background (ex: Italian, Greek, African American, Irish, etc): Russian Name of Character running the faction: Bogdan Volkov Your Discord # (ex: gamer#4210): Skyzerbefr Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:634961667 Your Server playtime: 2mo 1w 18h 30m Do you acknowledge and agree to all faction rules as detailed on the server rules page? (Yes/No): Yes Do you acknowledge that your faction discord will be owned by us? (Yes/No): Yes Provide an example of the unique Roleplay your faction will bring to the server/what type of roleplay we can expect from your faction (Images/Videos Preferred): Business and Future Goals for the LLC Although we started off as a humble food truck operation, handing out food and drinks to the city workers or anyone for that matter (and will still continue using a food truck to bring in roleplay), we will develop a LLC for security which will be a private security organization that brings a one of a kind mechanic to diverge. We will specialize in helping businesses transport their product in large amounts, assist in protecting high-profile men, and even help with the legal issues of people who get caught up in the law where the lines between legal and illegal activities often blur. Novgorod Attire New interns that have not fully been initiated into the Bratva will wear often wear more casual street clothing such as tracksuits, hoodies, or any sort of casual wear. This reflects their position within the Bratva as outsiders who are still fairly new and are proving their loyalty and worthiness for the next step in the hierarchy. Although they are not on the same level authority as the Made Men of the family, associates are very important to building up our family as a whole by managing lower level tasks, managing day to day business, and executing orders from higher-ups, to reach that point where they can be made. Mid-High Command of the Bratva are the core and heart of the organization and fully earned the trust and respect of the boss. As a symbol of their authority and status within our faction, our higher command will wear more formal attire such as: suits, rings (custom rings), and dress clothes. The importance of the formal attire is these members will be responsible for making smart decisions when it comes to high-stake meetings, legitimate business dealings, and upholding the faction's interest within the criminal underworld. Family Outings and Deals The Novgorod Bratva values our own family and strength above all else, we will make it a priority to maintain our cultural roots through regular family outings/gatherings. Whether it is a traditional Russian feast, a day out enjoying the city of New York, or a more private gathering at one of our properties, these outings help strengthen our bond with one another and reinforce the loyalty that keeps us united as one. Our main language is Russian if you couldn't tell, we will ensure our ties to our heritage remain strong and that the language of our ancestors is preserved. In these meetings we will host often, it can range from enjoying delicious meals to sharing stories of the old country and singing classic Russian songs, to even making important decisions where alliances are formed and business is conducted. A big source of income within the Bratva would be through crew deals with other allies - a large scale trade agreement in product for a profit on both ends. These trades would be handled with the utmost discretion (following back to the security organization), and we do understand the high risk involved in moving large amounts of illicit goods. Our reputation for honor within deals and our ability to control big amounts of product makes us an invaluable partner for anybody to make a profit. Every single dollar made is an opportunity to strengthen alliances and keep our plates full while being able to maintain the respect and loyalty with those who do business with us. Provide examples or event ideas to promote activity within your faction and keep people interested. (Reference your unique RP from the question above): As previously mentioned above, our members will participate in large-scale meetings with other factions, this could involve intense roleplay moments where members have to use their awareness skills, or even deal with betrayals and sabotage. Why does this work you may ask? It involves a numerous amount of people, gets everyone involved in decision making and keeps tension high which creates a nice buzz within the community. However, not all people are into that whole criminal underworld business. This is why we will host feasts or celebrations for the Bratva which will be Russian themed, these events will be used for lighthearted roleplay and strengthen the family-oriented nature of our faction which offers a break from the usual high tension activities and lets people develop their characters overall. Novgorod Bratva will host initiation ceremonies for new recruits or potential Made Men, marking their full faith to the Bratva with a symbolic ceremony. This involves making them take an oath, participate in a test of loyalty, or a task that makes them prove their faith to the Bratva (Bones, Fingers, Skulls, Etc...) 2. Your Character or Steam Name: Indexcicive Your SteamID (Click to retrieve): (STEAM_0:0:117683863) Your Discord ID#: Indexcicive Reason for ban: RDM x2 Length of ban: 3 Weeks Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): This situation has to be explained with context, so I will simplify it as much as possible. This encounter had started originally when my faction member informed me on radio that he was kidnapped in Ghetto Room 3 by "a biker gang member." Of course, I rushed into action to get my member out. OOCly I took note of the name of the person who owned the room 3 at the time, something with a "Jean Dr.Pierre" when I recall correctly. Police showed up and asked for a Dr. Pierre (whoever owned the door.) Within the vicinity, I heard that statement and heard Pierre say that he owned the door. Looking at his character, he wore the SOS jacket that carried the patches. Throughout this entire encounter, I was under the strong assumption that this was an affiliate with SOS, our allies, who was causing issues for our members such as kidnapping our guys. In my defense, I utilized the proper escalation; reasoning that someone wearing SOS colors and biker jacket, should be stopped because of that disturbance. As we fast forward, a Takahashi member whom I've had the name of, and of course vice versa, informed me that this Pierre also had one of his interns. In both of our interests, we chased down Pierre and demanded him to stop his vehicle for ten minutes straight. I shot his tires out and confronted Pierre at the Car Dealer, as we demanded Pierre to stop, Yokai (The Takahashi member I recognized), was ragdolled and picked up by the same person who fled with Pierre before they died. Yokai sent the shots off first, and I proceeded; mind you we aimed at their tires. The intention wasn't to kill and was to pop tires, it still killed Pierre who begun to flee and the person who picked up Yokai's ragdoll. (This is what the RDM x2 comes from.) In the sit, Byte pulled Yokai and I into the situation and asked why we were chasing Pierre down, to then we explained Pierre, someone wearing SOS colors and Biker Jacket, was causing issues with us that we had to stop. We explained we followed escalation appropriately. At first, without any questioning, Byte noted Yokai for RDM. Then he asked Yokai and I if we had each other's names, to which we did and displayed we recognized each other by saying each other's names. Byte then removed Yokai's RDM note, and kept me in the situation. Byte let go of Yokai, who was in the same situation as me. Instead, Byte tells me that I did all of this because Pierre is Patch (whom I had no idea it was Patch up until Byte informed me it was Patch.) Byte explained that Patch's voice was easily recognizable. I'm sorry but I've learned my mistake from Metagaming and intend not to do that again. Furthermore, I simply don't recognize Patch's voice or use bias to specifically targets people because they are in a different faction. It's odd however, when you take the ticket of your own faction, let go of someone who did the same actions as me (which we argue wasn't RDM), but give me the burden because you know I'm Pearce (for whatever reason.) None of that should have mattered in the first place, I simply tried to correct someone who we assumed was SOS because he was wearing SOS uniform, and my faction member informed me it was the biker gang who kidnapped him and had him locked in Ghetto Room 3. At the sit, I asked them to send me a clip of the RDM, and all they provided was a clip of me and Yokai chasing Pierre and the ragdoller person and shooting the tire out, but not killing them. Byte simply said "Well it shows in the logs Pearce so you're gonna take a vacation." And that was it. To me this isn't fair when I don't receive clear evidence as to why I'm being banned when I asked them directly for it, and all I was provided was "Here is a clip that doesn't show a death." And "The logs show it so you're banned." To me, this really isn't fair. (Edit the addition of why I should be unbanned because for whatever reason my phone didn't put this portion down. I'm doing this while at work so I apologize.) Why should you be unbanned? I believe I should be unbanned because this situation stemmed based off of an honest misunderstanding and misjudgements of the situation. The player I chased, Pierre, was wearing SOS colors and the SOS jacket, which led me to believe that he was in fact SOS. And though he was not apart of the friend group for the SOS members on at the time, we still believed he was in the faction. My intention was never to kill, however to cut off the tires of the vehicle which, after three bullets or so, killed Pierre and the passenger in that moment. I am under the strong premise that I was not given sufficient information of my ban at the time of the sit. I was only provided, at the time, a clip of the chase, not the specific clip of the death. I was told by Byte that "the logs show it." In my opinion, I feel that this was too harsh of a punishment. RDM entails intention, and my intention was not to kill, rather disable. In the clips any party provided, you can see that I am not mag dumping into Pierre, rather carefully shooting spots. Otherwise, if the vulehicle blew up or I had mag dumped, then it would be very clear I was RDMing especially with intent. In my RDMs, if I had done something I knew was wrong, I would accept my punishment and not argue against punishments; which has happened in my previous notes. I firmly believe that this was not RDM at the time because I believe I followed escalation. Mind you, my faction's new alliances are new, so information to me is also new regarding allies. I appreciate the read through it this case of course. It would be helpful if we looked at this as a community; because mistakes can happen. These 2 kills was an absolute mistake, and not on purpose in any way. I want to, once again make clear, that I had no idea at the time that Pierre was Patch, who is against my faction. I had no way of figuring out if this person was Patch, rather I chased him because of the issues he had caused with my faction members and friends by locking faction members up in Ghetto Room as an example. I followed all of this information ICly and the logs can prove my reason for intervention when my member asked for my help and clearly identified where he was stick in Radio chat.

  4. Now I know I'll get sh*t on by certain geeks that think they're some big shot behind the screen because they enjoy mocking newbs but after 4 days of playtime in this server I have some issues. Keep in mind I have over 2k game time in GMOD and most of it was spent in HellsGamers PERP back in the day and a bunch of other RPs. I'm not comparing this to that but merely stating the facts for the kids in here. If you don't like it -rep the sh*t out of me. Couldn't care less about your e-penis power. My first concern - Why is everything so f*cking theatrical and zero-risk? The crybaby japs stand outside their gunstore and bait cops/civs just to get a reason to start shooting/blowing up cars. When you do something against them they instantly @ staff like a bunch of #metoo wussies. The Italians do nothing but eat lobster. Every single faction just wants a reason to out their own interns/associates. Oooooh you got arrested? HERE COMES THE PK TICKET for bringing heat. Oooooooh you're a criminal in a crime family and like to mug or f*ck with other criminals? You're causing too much trouble, time to go! No faction wants to start a war with the other so they let their own get r*ped before they do something or they pay up to avoid it. Because again, zero-risk wussies. I get the realism of it but if your best guy is getting chased by a rival gang because he left them a week ago you best believe there is a war happening if they touch him in any f*cking real life scenario unless they wanna do a sit down and solve it in a different way. No raids happening either, yeah obvious reasons. Cops? Sadly clowns with a badge running around chasing people driving recklessly and running red lights. Getting harassed constantly and rage-baited by civs and factions like the jap babies that like to blow up cars after endlessly provoking them. There is literally no FearRP when it comes to cops, if you're stopping someone and he has loads of sh*t his friend just pulls up behind you and shoots you in the head no big deal, I guess that should be punishable by staff. People can grow hella shit in their apartments and faction properties without any worries of any raid happening. I don't even understand what the detectives/operatives do. They should be out there putting down crime families for good, running surveillance, collecting evidence, and they should have all the power to do it heck even if they have to pay crazy sums to informants, install civ scouts, wiretapping certain areas (yeah sometimes criminals are stupid and say the wrong things outside their faction property). Oh and I guess every single faction higher up has his own detective character so why would they even bother with all of this? Honestly if you're a higher up in a faction you shouldn't be allowed to have a cop character. PERIOD. The conflict of interest is there no matter what you tell me. Heck if one bullet is fired outside of a faction property, no matter what their intent or right is, that should be grounds for a full-on police raid. Maybe there should be a Crime Family/Gang/NARC Task Force with more investigative power, including the ability to be fully disguised as a civilian and not visible anywhere as a cop, able to join and maintain your character as a civilian in a crime family, gather intel and climb the ranks etc etc. Undercover work should be much better IMO, if you know someone has an affiliation with another gang you want to be able to follow that person and gather as much about him as possible, routines, entrys and exits. Who is he speaking to and why? End of rant, also no TLDR.

  6. Alright so you didn't watch the video, this is going to be a book. I gave you a chance for me to be really lenient in this appeal reply and you threw it out the window. So, let's start at the very beginning. You say this all began when Pierre kidnapped your fellow faction member. You only know it is Pierre from what you admitted was OOC information of the name on the door. We aren't going to get into how you began this conflict with OOC information, we will just focus on what came after. You first, opened a ticket wanting to PK the Pierre character for kidnapping your friend. Someone who was never put under fearRP, was locked in a room, that he had full access to a phone for. He did eventually call the cops to come and doorkick him out. When these officers arrive, you use the information you gained from the door to then try and snitch on the Pierre character. When told no, you could not PK them, and the cop told you to leave and stop interrupting his investigation, you proceeded to follow them for almost twenty minutes around the city. At one point, they do pick you up after you get ran over by someone, and they take you into the casino. Once there, you and Yokai have a shootout. You kill them, and you admit, that was the end of that conflict / RP. You also, have a clip of this gun fight. This clip, you very interestingly, changed the name of after you needed to use it for evidence. Want to know what the original name of the clip was? "GambinoK." Posted below is the clip and it's title now, and a screenshot showing the original title in Discord where you shared it, before changing the name. Clip Screenshot Now, I can easily answer to you why I knew it was you, Pearce. I am staff. On my staff character, I can see your steam name. Now, tell me, how did you know that you killed a Gambino, Patch, on an alternative character? Especially as, apparently I told you it was Patch, but that clip was made before you ever spoke to me and before I ever told you it was Patch. You changed the name of the clip to share it with me in the sit room. This, brings us up to where a new conflict began. You and Yokai wanted to keep messing with Patch on his alt character. You may argue it is not targeting, but I will call you on your bullshit. You have a history of revenge RDM, metagame, and now blatantly lying about knowing who it is. So yes, you were targeting. You went up to a group of three SOS members, in front of the old Barzini Cigar lounge vacant shop. You and Yokai ask these three very clear actual SOS members, if the French guy running around in their jacket is one of theirs. They all three tell you that he is not, they do not know who he is, and to do what you want. You and Yokai say "bet", get back in your car, and leave. So, now I must ask, where do you get off telling me you were going after an allied faction who had a lower member messing with you after said faction told you he was not apart of them? Also another interesting question, when did SOS join the Underground Association? Pretty sure they aren't your allies so care to explain that to me or have your HC and theirs explain that to Canadian on how you guys magically have a larger than five member alliance? Also, Yokai isn't in your alliance either; weird, right? Screenshot of alliances if anyone needs more information on this question. This brings us up to where this infamous car chase began on completely false premises outside of you wanting to fuck with someone on an alternative character who has made your life a living hell on the server and just so conveniently that day your Don also happened to die. You are chasing them in a white Subaru for almost 20 minutes. There happens to be another white Subaru driving around that has Yokai's intern. You two proceed to continue to chase and ram both of these white Subarus. At one point, Yokai's intern asks you, while alone in a different car, why you guys are doing this. Yokai tells you that is the wrong car and they are not in that car. So at this point, you know his intern is not with Patch and the other citizen. Explain to me, how you chasing that car now is assisting your "ally" in any way at all? This car chase continues and you eventually arrive at the turn behind the hospital and beside the PD. They (the white Subaru containing Patch and a citizen) crash into a fire hydrant. Your car crashed into a light pole beside them. You then get out of of your car and shoot an entire magazine into the back window. This takes me back to my original question. Did you watch the video on escalation and active threats? Not once did their vehicle ram you, run over you, or did they ever try to hit you or shoot you. After this you get back in your car and you find them at the car dealership. They respawn their car still actively ignoring you. You try to steal their car, run over your own "ally", the citizen then moves his ragdoll out from behind the car after you hit him, and puts him down, doesn't slam him, doesn't run away with him, turns around and puts him on the ground next to your car. You then get out of the car, they both get in and go to drive away, before Yokai shoots once, and stops, and you begin shooting fully automatic into the back window, again. Now, you want to lie and say I showed you clips that only shows you chasing them, and then them dying. Well, I have the clips, genius. The first clip shows plenty of time before the shooting, 54 seconds before the shooting and the seconds right after the shooting. The second clip shows that you ran over your "ally", that you tried to mag dump the car again, and that you are the one that wanted to kill them. First clip showing the complete lack of any knowledge of escalation when shooting that began. Second clip of you continuing a conflict that was never started and RDMing them. After this happened, they made a ticket for RDM after you had been trying to VDM them for almost 20 minutes. When this ticket came up, there was three staff members online. Myself, Bullets, and Nubs. Here in logs you can see I tried to get either of them to take it. Nubs was afk and I even char kicked Bullets twice just for him to ignore it. So yes, I took the ticket as the only active staff member. While taking your ticket, I was relaying all information to the only other active on Discord UA member for their input as I knew you would try and cry bias. I was transparent and I told you this in the sit but you clearly want to leave out key pieces of information. The other UA member had already also determined it to be RDM. When I brought the two of you, Yokai had little to no history of RDM at all. (Yokai's notes) That is why he was simply going to be noted and returned. Both you and Patch had asked for him to not be noted. So his note was removed and him returned. Now for you to try and turn that on me as targeting you must be some kind of joke. You were not noted and returned because you have a college textbook of POs for VDM, RDM, revenge RDM and metagame.(Your POs, POs, and bans. See how his is a single screenshot and yours has to be three?) Once Yokai was returned, you and Patch were making the sit completely inefficient with just trying to annoy each other. So Patch was comped and returned. Then it was just the two of us for almost thirty minutes where I tried to reason with you. Tell me, how does it take thirty minutes for me to say, Because that is not all that was said. In this sit, you yourself admitted that you started shooting at the end of the first clip. That you killed them in the second clip. That the conflict had ended at the casino almost an hour earlier. In the time that it was just the two of us in that sit room, i explained to you why I couldn't just note you and return you. You refuse to learn, you refuse to stop breaking the rules. I asked you to do one thing before you put up this appeal so that I could have a reason to be nice to you in this appeal. Instead, you choose to not do that, lie about the information you had on the situation, lie about why you were doing it, and no lie and try to slander my name in your appeal. If any other person had the history of notes and bans that you have, they would have been permanently banned. I worked with another member of UA and tried to be extra nice to you.

  17. Faction Conflict Guidelines Last updated 04/03/2025 The following document serves to outline the rules and regulations of conflicts between factions, how they work, and information to be aware of. This thread is most relevant to faction leaders. What is a conflict? A Conflict occurs when two or more factions recognize a transgression or incident which can lead to tensions and possible fighting. Conflicts are best resolved through diplomacy and sit downs to determine what wrongdoings occurred and who is at fault. For all claims of transgressions evidence would be required. The incident should be recorded with a plethora of context around it. All conflicts must follow the proper escalation steps as described below or their validity will be ignored and users can receive bans for breaking rules in an attempt to press a false conflict. Alliances and Agreements Alliances or allied factions can come to the aid or defence of your faction when you find yourself in an active conflict, fighting on your behalf, providing security for sit-downs or filling a plethora of other roles. Agreements like alliances or conflict resolution agreements can be made with other factions to define the terms of a business dealing. Such as the creation of a district, creation of an alliance, outline of set territory with an enemy or an agreed amount of tax to resolve a conflict. An agreement document is created, signed by both sides and is presented jointly to server Upper Administration to be ratified as binding. Alliances are limited to a maximum of 5 factions. (Mega alliances may not team up together, defeats the point of the limit) (This limit includes districts, a district is regarded as an ally, a vassal you own, but an ally nonetheless) This will increase amount of diplomacy Roleplay and prevent the server from splitting into two massive alliances (Boring!) [Added benefit of reducing number of puppet factions] Territories A Territory is a section of the city divided by certain criminal boundary lines. If your alliance controls more than half the buildings in a given territory the territory can be considered 'belonging' to your alliance. Other areas where no one alliance controls more than half is 'contested'. If your alliance owns a territory you may create territory rules and include them in your alliance agreements to dictate realistic territory rules. (ex: No muggings, no selling drugs in public, etc) Territory map (subject to change in the future) Possible reasons for conflicts Here are just a few examples of scenarios that can cause a problem between factions. Disrespect Disrespect between bosses or capos/made men while being quite minor and would not warrant any real violence can still sour relations between the high commands of competing factions. A sit-down would be effective at resolving this. Excessive targeted muggings / muggings in territory Being targeted for muggings or having muggings occur in your faction/alliance’s pre-agreed upon territory could be a clear provocation for escalations in conflict. A sit down and possible tax or a demand to turn over the perpetrator(s) would be logical for such offences. Impeding business Attempting to interfere or impede on another faction's business. For example if you have a pre signed agreement to not host events or sell certain products in their territory and you knowingly push to their customer base regardless or make back door deals violating previous no trade agreements you could be liable for impeding on the other faction's business. Murder For example, if a man in your organization left the faction without consent in order to join another faction and you were to murder him for that, his new faction could take issue with the killing and demand repayment for the loss of their earner. A sit down before the hit would clear up any confusion and get you the go ahead to perform the kill. [And Many more reasons possible] Sit-downs and meetings Sit downs and meetings are the most effective way of bringing a conflict under control or even bringing it to an end by defining what occurred and who is owed what in terms of compensation. These meetings are also beneficial for laying out agreements, deals and territory lines BEFORE they become an issue, anticipating problems and solving them through diplomacy is the mark of a good leader, as conflict only brings death and a pause in the business of making money. Types of sit-downs Internal sit-downs Inter-Alliance sit-downs Standard Faction sit-down Alliance wide sit-down Internal sit-downs occur inside your given faction. These are between two members of the same faction generally mediated by the Don or underboss. No escalation, UA reporting or recording is mandatory in these cases. Inter-Alliance sit-downs occur between two factions of the same Alliance, usually mediated by an Alliance leader or uninvolved third party mediator. They aim to resolve inter alliance disputes and keep the alliance running peacefully, they also enforce the alliance agreement. UA reporting and recording is optional; if the issue persists and escalation is required then it becomes mandatory. Standard Faction sit-downs occur between two singular factions (no allies involved). They aim to bring and solve grievance two factions from other alliances may have with one another, this is a one-on-one encounter. UA reporting on the initial issue / first sit-down is optional, recording is mandatory. Should the issue not be resolved UA reporting becomes mandatory in order for any escalation attempts to be seen as valid. Alliance wide sit-downs occur between two alliances representing each member of the respective alliance, this usually occurs when a Standard Faction sit-down escalates to a point where UA approves allies/alliances to get involved. All UA reporting and recording is mandatory. General sit-down instructions All sit downs must occur in-game. DMs, voice channels or any other means of OOC communication is not permitted and not binding. You may only use DMs to coordinate the time and place of a meeting. If you are unable to attend a meeting you set and agreed upon then send a representative in your place, failing to show up to multiple meetings can and will be considered avoiding roleplay. All meetings should be recorded by both parties and/or should have a member of UA present to observe. The contents of the meetings that are agreed upon terms, i.e. any deal you make should be written into a document, signed by both parties and then submitted to UA in a support ticket in order to ratify it, and confirm consequences for whomever breaks it. Meetings can/should include an unbiased mediator. This mediator is a neutral unbiased party who generally provides an objective opinion, neutral meeting ground and sometimes security for meetings between two opposing factions. Both parties should agree on a neutral mediator, it can be the boss of another faction (useful for inter-alliance issues) or if no player can be agreed upon to mediate both parties may request a member of UA to act as the mediator. The mediator can help determine the facts, inform factions of who did what and what transgressions were actually committed as well as assisting in reaching a logical and reasonable settlement agreement. Refusing a sit down is contextual and can lead to further escalations. However, refusing sit downs immediately and making zero attempts to resolve a situation diplomatically is Fail RP. If no attempts were made to have sit downs or escalate through proper RP and were never logged by UA, your request will be denied. Escalation Conflicts that don’t reach an instant resolution can begin to escalate, this is a negative thing for BOTH factions as the longer a conflict lasts, the more it escalates and the more money they both begin to lose. All level escalations must be approved by UA. MAKE A TICKET These are the general ‘levels’ to escalations. Level 0: Transgression is noted One faction recognizes a problem/transgression with the other and collects evidence of the incident, they then create a support ticket to inform UA about the possible conflict and contact the faction they have the issue with to organize a sit down to speak about it. A Mediator is not necessarily required at this stage but one may be required if the issue is quite contentious. [No UA reporting required] Level 1: The first sit-down Provided the transgression is minor and both faction leaders are good at what they do then most conflicts will not escalate past this point. Both factions will have met and discussed the issue and outlined an agreement to resolve the problem. Should they fail to do so they may schedule another sit down with a mediator to hash it out properly. [Should this not be an internal alliance issue then UA reporting is needed] Level 2: The simmer The second sit down will occur with an agreed upon mediator to help hash out the facts of the case and both factions will have support tickets open with UA so they may submit any relevant evidence and keep management up to date on the status of the conflict. During the time between the first meeting to the second the two factions may put their business with the opposing faction on pause, halting trades and other events or niceties until the situation is resolved. 95% of conflicts should be resolved by the second sit down unless the issue is so atrocious that proper settlement terms cannot be reached. [All UA reporting mandatory beyond this point] Level 3: Boiling point A failure of the second meeting is the boiling point and by now bad blood has likely formed, small breakouts of violence are likely to occur, bar fights, obscenities maybe even some road rage or the occasional out of territory mugging. At level 3 or higher sit-downs can occur whenever either side agrees to do one, however the longer the conflict goes unresolved the more money both sides begin to lose. From level 3 and onward either faction can request UA to escalate the conflict in either of their respective tickets. (Failure of sit downs and proof of fault is most effective when requesting escalations) Level 4: Brothers Spat Third sit-down is required. At this level target mugging (on your main characters…) the opposing faction is fair game and barring rivals from your establishments is expected. Loitering or graffiti may also become commonplace but tolerating loitering is also less practised. Both sides will seek to annoy and harass the other to the dismay of both the police and your suppliers. While this stage of escalation allows you to openly harass the opposing faction it also strains your business, as your suppliers don’t want the extra heat your shipment arrival times and shipment costs increase 25%. Business is impacted. Level 5: Wave of Violence Fourth sit-down required. At this level the violence is palpable. Shootings of properties and businesses may become commonplace and will not be considered a raid. Shipment arrival times and shipment costs increase by 50% of the original amounts. More attention from police means your suppliers may request cash or certain amounts of drugs / weapons as payment in order to keep operating, failure to meet these payments could see additional vendor penalties apply and possibly have your faction lose access to selling certain drugs. Individuals responsible for the initial cause of the conflict can have hits (PKs) placed against them. (For instance if the conflict stemmed from a certain member target mugging and the offending faction had refused to hand him over. Seek UA approval for these hits.) Level 6: Defcon 2 This level can be reached if more than 3 sit-downs have occurred and failed. At this level you are basically a few days if not less from hitting the mattresses, your suppliers disappear seeking to wait the impending conflict out. At this level you may firebomb the rival properties to put them out of commission and cause significant financial harm as well as openly target one member of their high command for a PK hit. Level 7: War Level 7 is war. You know how war goes. Your factions are fully blocked from selling drugs to any NPC as the sellers aim to not choose sides. War lasts until one side falters or until an agreed win condition must be met. UA has final say if war is approved or not and can end it at any time. Taxation / Compensation This will be a loose guide on how to consider and value certain transgressions in the event you decide to impose a tax instead of other diplomatic routes. (Tax is NOT your only option, it’s just common) Note that tax can also be labelled ‘compensation’ as the term tax can have a more negative and un-diplomatic connotation. There will also be a max escalation level to help determine the severity of which the transgression can be escalated to, within reason. Every time a tax is refused and the escalation increases a level you may apply an additional 10% to the originally proposed tax amount. (Inform UA!) Disrespect [0 - 10k] - Max escalation Level 1 Disrespect of a boss or made men. No one cares if a group of associates or soldiers are insulted, it’s part of their job. Should someone, capo and above, intentionally go out of their way to insult other made men or bosses a transgression for disrespect can be considered and either a tax or apology demanded depending on the severity of the disrespect [If both men insulted each other it’s also useful to simply squash the beef]. Generally factions you are neutral with or in an alliance with will take this seriously. A faction you are opposed to likely won’t care. Graffiti, loitering, general mischief [1k - 50k] - Max escalation Level 3 People oftentimes like to annoy members of the opposing faction and should this prove to be an action repeated by the same identified members a faction may take issue and ask for those involved to be taxed or disciplined. An annoying enough slight that warrants beatings but nothing worth damaging business over. Muggings / Target muggings [Value of items loss + ~20% | provable loss] - Max escalation Level 5 Muggings or muggings in your territory that you can prove are being intentionally perpetrated by a member of the opposing faction can be a big problem. You are entitled to demand the individual be punished, handed over for punishment or have punishment sanctioned (Especially if they got someone on your side killed - See Manslaughter) or you may ask for an apology and tax the provable and agreed upon value of the items stolen plus 20% as a fee for the trouble. This has the possibility of escalating hard but after a while it is just items and you’re better off solving it than allowing it to affect your entire organization's profit margins. Territory / Business Violations [100k - 500k] - Max escalation Level 5 Territory violations meaning the faction repeatedly violates pre-set rules both sides agreed to OR violated inherent territory (Like literally ON/IN your property) or place of business. From fucking with your staff / customers or marching in your territory with weapons out or on safety to intentionally violate your security and cause a conflict. I.E. Large coordinated flexing. A serious disrespect like this can escalate the conflict but should violence be kept to a minimum it can be resolved in the end. Violation of Contract / Agreement [Depends] - Max escalation level 6 This purely depends on the terms of the agreement both parties signed and UA ratified. Usually the agreement will include what the possible consequences are for breaking the agreement. For example if some faction becomes a district and breaks that or joins an alliance and breaks that alliance they may be taxed a certain pre-agreed upon amount as outlined in the agreement. Manslaughter [up to 2.5 million] - Max Level escalation Level 5 Manslaughter is different from murder as it is technically an accidental killing. For example if your member is target mugging and ends up killing a member of the opposing faction, the murder wasn’t the original intention but it occurred. The opposing faction can request they perform a sanctioned hit as retaliation / revenge or demand he be handed over. Should they decide not to seek blood they may attempt to value the killed man’s life based on his rank in the faction. The higher the position the more it may cost to keep the situation hush hush. The lower the position the less money and likelihood the conflict escalates. Murder [up to 5 million] - Max Level escalation Level 6 Murder is different from manslaughter as it is an intentional killing, meaning the person did something to warrant being killed and instead of having a sitdown with that faction you acted without consulting them and murdered their man. The opposing faction can request they perform a sanctioned hit as retaliation / revenge or demand the killer be handed over. Should they decide not to seek blood they may attempt to value the killed man’s life based on his rank in the faction. The higher the position the more it may cost to keep the situation hush hush. The lower the position the less money and likelihood the conflict escalates. Unpaid Loan [Total Amount of Loan + 10% interest per week unpaid] - Max Level escalation Level 6 Factions with bad management that take out insane loans can be penalized for the amount they owe plus interest via an alliance enforced tax. Should they fail to pay after several weeks the opposing faction may have the right to PK the person who took the loan. (Requires close observation from UA) Other - Consult UA Note that Max escalation can be bypassed with stacking reasons of higher Max level and/or if you reach a level where PK is permitted and is actually carried out. NOTE: Smaller less serious conflicts can maybe take place instead for instances of lower escalation, like instead of a bar fight leading to an all out 5v5 war the two factions can have a 1v1 conflict of firebombing / bar fights for a week. etc etc Subject to future changes or updates

  18. -1 nothing against the leader, you seem more than qualified for the position... but this just seems like a kirov reskin. also, russian larp translates to being pretty mid in the server, especially if it isn't done correctly. wish y'all the best of luck though

  19. -1 i mean pretty much what okyes said, factions wouldn't hire you. No point to hire you when they could just use their own members who they've got trust for. Selling security wouldn't make you money, or if you charged enough to make money nobody would still hire you. Sure there isn't really that much someone can do but you basically just described the standard faction activities, "Initations", "events", "dinners",.

  20. -1 While it would be cool to see a working russian faction, i just dont think this is it. For what you put down as your rp it boiled down to having meetings and doing normal crim stuff. For the legal aspect its just very basic, and security LLC's never work out because ppl would rather use their own. It's just a very basic faction application and i don't see it adding any rp.

  21. Although another Bratva family wouldn't be a bad idea and could go well, I still feel like this won't work the way you think it will. The current Russians on this server, despite being Russian, don't particularly RP as Russian as well as they could. Also, I believe your whole LLC plan wont go the way you want it to. More than likely, you will do security for 1- 2 months, then realize it makes zero money and wastes time when you could be recruiting or processing. (Also, factions particularly around the past few years will mainly trust their own security since the amount of OOC betrayal and soft coups has happened.) I can already smell it going from a russian faction with the intent on security (Same as the current bratva) to either a mini Jewish faction or another fake Italian/Russian group. Though I will +/- and hope you prove me wrong to bring something unique and never seen before onto diverge.

  23. So instead of adding more class ones, give the ones we have access to some more spice. AKA the Revolvers, modify the gun and allow us to fan the six-rounds. People out here straight BITCHING about class 1's, well let us use the least used guns a bit more frequently by allowing for the gun to be swapped to a fanning action, Highly inaccurate and disallow ADS while the option is opted. (Only six rounds, cant really do much harm if you miss ) Also, is the whole Revolvers dropping shell casings on PK's ever gonna be changed, I know it might rely on heavy scripting so it really isn't that deep, but it'd be neat for RP (I don't care which revolvers can do this, just one of them would suffice tbh)

  26. Equipable briefcases with a balanced amount of extra storage space, visible when equipped. This not only gives extra inventory space, but also offers roleplay opportunities and unique player interactions (Briefcase filled with money, guns, drugs, contracts, documents, limbs, etc). Can be placed in crates, lockers, cars, dropped, etc. Purchasable at hardware store or at barge? Will take up perhaps 8 slots of inventory space while offering 10-16 slots? Maybe brief/suitcases of different sizes?
