That is quite literally a zip, Im not entirely sure how much you know about the mafia but zips that carry out hits DONT stay around to get caught, they more than likely never return. Their whole purpose is to be an unknown, they have no records or finger prints and that is for a reason, so the family they just killed for doesn’t A. Get tied to the murder or B. Get caught doing the murder. It’s fairly simple to comprehend, in my opinion there isn’t many ways you can spin a suggestion to make zips sound like a bad idea

Just want to add the room was seized! This is more proof that this was all allowed and within the rules! The warrant was for the location I also want to add! You also willingly opened fire on cops like it was said before.

Good point and thank you for the reference, however, in real life those individuals were still part of the organization or directly tied to it, and there were real consequences if something went wrong. On the server, however, what often happens is players use disposable characters whose only purpose is to log in, PK someone, and then disappear for weeks or switch back to another faction’s character.

That could very well be a good alternative to my original suggestion. What I’m suggesting would apply to everyone. Even if you are PK’ing an associate or an intern, the person doing it should still be taking some risk themselves. As an enforcer or senior member, it shouldn’t just be outsourced to a random player who mainly plays a different faction, logs on to kill someone, and then immediately switches back to their main character.

If you're gonna pk someone's (potential) main, you ought to have the same amount of skin in the game.

I feel like instead of it being Main locked it should be a minimum amount of char play time. Locking it to main would suck for those that don’t get to enjoy those mechanics or certain types of rp that they may not be able to do on their mains. Having a minimum amount of play time on a char would force individuals that try to abuse to actively put effort into their char and that faction.

Like for Italians they had zips from Italy come to America to murder somebody for them if they didn't want to risk their own men getting pinched or whacked, take The Tailors from the Sopranos for an example they were zips brought from Italy to be hitmen , when the war between the two families was happening they sent an Asian zip to go take care of a guy. It's just part of the roleplay and I honestly think taking away that aspect of the Italian Mafia it closes a lot of doors. As many of you may already be aware, there has been a noticeable influx of “hitman” characters among various factions on the server. I would like to suggest that players should only be allowed to PK someone within a faction if the character performing the PK is set as their Main Character. The intention behind this proposal is to discourage players from freely cycling through disposable characters or creating new ones solely for the purpose of PK’ing others. When characters are treated as expendable tools, it undermines the risk and consequences that PK is meant to carry. Currently, some of these hitman characters do not even bother to pick up their own bullet casings or take basic precautions, because there is little to no fear of losing the character if they are identified or killed in the process. This ultimately weakens the purpose of Counter-PK mechanics, as the individual carrying out the hit has no meaningful attachment to the character being used. Requiring PK actions to be carried out only by a player’s Main Character would restore a sense of risk and accountability, ensuring that those involved have something meaningful at stake. For clarity, this rule should only apply to faction-related PKs. It would not apply to fail-mug situations or other forms of PK outside of faction conflicts.

Yeah I agree with that. If someone is actively lockpicking a car in front of the owner they’re obviously putting themselves at risk. Most of the time though I imagine this happening when the owner isn’t around and the car is just parked somewhere, which is why I was thinking more about the longer process after the car is stolen (tracker removal, stripping parts, etc).

Hi. Unless these "multiple people" have a warrant as well then the search warrant (only naming Antonio DeCavalcante and Calogero Capone) should not apply as both parties have been arrested (shock!) and are on bail, making the search warrant no longer valid. Thanks for the reply!

As stated in my original post, the warrant was for Antonio DeCavalcante, a man who has already been arrested since the warrant was issued. are you implying that a warrant is still valid after a person gets arrested and the conditions of the warrant are fulfilled? because if so then I guess the PD has several warrants for every property in the city at this point and should just start kicking doors down. Once Antonio was arrested the officers investigating the building should have been recalled and the raid should have not happened, hence the raid being invalid I opened fire on an unknown and armed person opening the door to my apartment when I was the only member of my faction online at the time. If Captain John Gordon would like to prevent the shooting of officers then it should stand to reason that he update the PD SOP to ban no-knock raids. Cops IRL rarely just kick a fucking door in for this exact reason and its nonsensical that this was an explicit instruction in the warrant. A lawful raid to catch an nigga that is already facing charges and is out on bail? the only reason that you would need to go looking for him now that he has been formerly charged is if he doesn't show up for his appointed court date. the warrant has been fulfilled and should no longer be valid. thanks for the reply!

Hello, PK Admin here. Your building was raided pursuant to a warrant. The claim that the raid was invalid does not align with the circumstances of the event. During the execution of the warrant, law enforcement entered the building and you opened fire on officers. Officers returned fire in response, and you were killed as a result of that firefight. Because your death occurred during an armed engagement that you initiated against law enforcement during a lawful raid. Hence why you were PK’ed.

I understand, I should not have been dishonest on this forum. My record is long with bans for a multitude of things, and I must admit I was wrong in those times. My decisions were within a flawed mindset and my two wishes is for your forgiveness as well as others forgiveness for this action and perhaps a reduction on my ban. I understand my behavior might not exhibit those of someone who wishes to actually Role-Play within this server but I can promise you my intentions are pure and I have no malicious intent regarding this server or its playerbase.

Hi You transferred multiple items to a friend on your old character, were pk'd and then 1 month later at the Little Italy ATM asked your friend to let you attempt to take the items back. He complied, allowing you to take the items. He was banned for a time for his role in your Item Transfer as a middleman. The Crazy Suit was the item I used to track the transfer, and it is perfectly visible and validated via our server logs. I have the entire interaction between the 2 of you clipped, and you openly acknowledge the fact that the items were provided to the middleman by you, on another char, and that you'd like to take them back on your new character. Item Transfer is simply just not allowed: Likewise you may not transfer money or items between any of your characters in anyway. Nor are you allowed to act as the middleman for someone else's item or money transfer. Transferring items or money between two of your characters is not permitted under any circumstance. (For your information, your character has also been pk'd)

What server rule or PK rule was violated?: The Police did not have a valid reason to raid the apartment and this situation should be voided as a result. As seen in the search warrant the stated purpose of the raid was to arrest Antonio DeCavalcante, however after the search warrant was filed and before the raid took place Antonio DeCavalcante was arrested and charged with the crimes described in his arrest warrant. I personally posted his bail for him and while he is out on the streets he has already been arrested and charged, fulfilling the intent of the warrants. Additionally, the admin that took the Officers PK ticket (Animator) is a PD main. This calls into question the Legitimacy of the PK as not only does he have a conflict of interest but he also didn't look at my clip of the situation. Quite frankly I also find it odd that the Officers involved made no attempt to identify themselves as they entered my apartment, I genuinely believed that I was being robbed and as I already had my gun out I shot as soon as I could (an outcome that would have been prevented if they had yelled through the door) also the guy wearing the nonstandard ESU navy blue uniform delayed my ability to realize the guy was a cop significantly. Hi banning admin here. I was asked to weigh in on, and then enact your ban during a conversation with at least 6 other staff members, including staff higher ranking than myself. Looking through your logs, it is blatantly apparent to me, as well as the other staff, that you don't intend to roleplay. In your previous appeal, you said: "If I get unbanned, I plan to roleplay and add to the servers experience instead of take away from it. If I come back to the server I won't be mugging at all, shouting at people for no reason, or breaking any rules." So far you have spent most of your time mugging, outside of that AFK'ing at your property, and making negative and cringeworthy Underground Advertisement endlessly. It's worth noting that hiring a few people and ordering oil is not what constitutes roleplay. Your provided evidence of roleplay is also pretty sub-par. You have been known to mug various people who blatantly have nothing of value on their person, which to my eye is likely PK hunting. You make the core of your character, down to his nickname, about mugging. You post a large number of rumours per session gloating about your muggings, and announcing plans for your next muggings. All of this adds up, as well as your previous bans and reputation - to show that you are just a mugging character, who can provide little to no valuable roleplay to the server. The testimony of a small handful of Takahashi players that you "have been helpful in the 1 week you were there" is not doing much to disprove that, either. PK hunting, most failmugs (which you have done at least one) and NITRP are all bannable offenses. Referencing Canadian's judgement on your perma ban appeal: "If you are banned again it will be extended to permanent once more." Thus I extended your ban to permanent. TL;DR - I was asked to ban you if I believed your actions constituted a ban, I did, as did numerous other staff. You had a 1 strike, you're out policy laid out to you when you were unperma'd. Good luck on the appeal.
