+1 i fuck with this hard, as a man that gets into police chases every so often, its boring not getting caught, and its funny to see them find you and chase you after 30 minutes this also adds rp scenarios for alot of things like being late to meetings or meet ups because your car runs out of gas being a taxi and having to fill up your car with gas often while you have passengers etc etc

Last couple times this got shot down, the vehicles were a very different beast. It’s time to implement this since we went this route with vehicles adding cost to character and vibing “realism”.

Looking back, absolutely your actual age shouldn’t affect this concept but it should be a blank slate that stacks up to maybe 150-200 years resulting in a PK. Maybe you can hard mode by setting “prison years” as a character creation dynamic.

As a police main who has to chase after MUTLIPLE vehicles which are hard to pin and stop. I am tired of dealing with 30 to 60 minute police chases. I am hoping we can bring back or add gasoline stations and fuel system. I understand we have a despawner system, but I was hoping we can get a fuel system in place. I think if people spawn their vehicle, and I think their should also be a fueling system to allow players to be responsible to refuel to have the gas gauge full.

this is probably the best way to do it imo. i don't think you can directly add to the age cause it might make some pretty awkward discrepancies - especially since no real way to rationalize people serving multiple year long sentences and having their age be changed when its still 1989. a sort of age 'point system' like this will still discourage repeat offenders.
