  7. Hi i’m the admin that banned you! I kind of waited around 5-10 minutes for you to come back but you sadly didn’t. I went ahead and banned you due to the fact that you kinda just stood there and watched it happen. I do feel partially bad due to the fact that you kinda didn’t mean to but you did kinda stand there and let it happen. I was waiting a while and I thought that you weren’t going to come back so I just went ahead and banned you. You did have quite a few PO’s which had made me make the ban longer.

  18. +1 Kewl has consistently shown maturity, great communication skills, and a helpful attitude in the community. I think they’d make a solid addition to the staff team! Kewl is the ultimate rp master and has spent more time on diverge then in real life.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: My reasons for applying to the staff team again are similar to last time. As shown in my playtime, I’ve spent quite a while on the server in the past two years, racking up over 4 months of playtime. A dedicated staff team that ensures that the rules are being followed is a necessary prerequisite for a server in which everyone can have fun, and I intend on being one of them. I have applied for staff previously in November of 2024, and was accepted. Unfortunately, I had picked the busiest part of the year to finally put that application in, and I wasn’t able to juggle everything I was trying to do at that time for too long. I’ve since gotten a lot more time, some of which I’d like to dedicate to staffing again. Why should you be considered over other candidates?*: I possess a very thorough understanding of the rules and many aspects of the server; a very valuable thing that can assist with staffing. As I stated in my prior application, this thorough understanding is why I have yet to recieve any warnings or bans, as following the rules is something I strive to always be doing. While I have a basic understanding already of how the early stages of being a staff member work, I’m a quick learner and picking up what I have left to learn should be no problem for me. I would also consider myself a very level-headed person, which is a very good quality to have in staffing situations that can be very stressful. I won’t fall for your ragebait! Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): As I stated above, I was a Moderator on Diverge for a very short amount of time. I’m not certain of exactly how long it was, but I’d say it was probably somewhere from a few weeks to a month based on what I recall. I’d need to look back at some things for exact numbers. I had to resign unfortunately due to a long term severe lack of time to dedicate towards staffing; which is no longer an issue. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I would say I’m rather well known within the community, and most people who haven’t ever interacted with me would have at least heard of one of my characters. I’ve held high positions on both the law enforcement and criminal side of things. These positions include multiple Lieutenant and supervisor ranks within the PD, and ranks within the Colombo family from associate all the way up to Don. As for my reputation, I’m not going to assume I know what everyone thinks of me, but I would assume that most people wouldn’t think negatively of me, unless they’re still mad about something that happened IC on one of my chars. I won’t pretend that I get along with everyone, but I’m not actively trying to make any enemies on the server lol. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: I said 6/14 last time, but I think I’m going to say defusing bombs back in ESU. That shit was fun. Have any staff members recommended you? If so, list their names: N/A ------------------------------------------------- Problem Solving Detail step by step exactly the actions you would take. Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: The first thing I’d do is finish whatever RP scenario I’m currently in, as I can’t just disappear randomly mid rp. After I’m finished with whatever scenario I might be in at that time, I’d swap over to my staff character, and take the ticket that was likely made by then, if no other staff member had gotten to it before myself. If there were any more tickets open I’d do them also while I’m already on my staff character. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Assuming I believe that it was abuse, being wrongful action on purpose, I would immediately notify a member of UA of what I believed was going on, and that I will collect evidence of anything I notice and believe is abuse. I believe that notifying a member of UA early is an important part so that they might be able to find evidence that I would not. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: As I said in my last application, I believe it’s important to acknowledge that bias is something subconscious and can be present in decisions even if someone was trying to make a decision in the most unbiased way they possibly could. This being said, if I noticed this ticket was against someone I knew before I took it, I wouldn’t take it unless there was no other way the ticket would be handled. If I took the ticket and then realized it was someone I believe I might have bias towards, I would pass the ticket off to another staff member to prevent any biased decisions from being made. If a scenario were to arise where I had no other options but to take the ticket, I would make the most unbiased decision I can possibly make and send all relevant evidence and information to another staff member for a second opinion whenever I would be able to recieve one. In regards to prior behavior, obviously my opinion of how a member of my faction or a friend of mine is doesn’t mean they can never break a rule, and that is what the staff member handling the ticket is there to determine. There are always the proper means to appeal any decisions made if they are wrongful. In terms of if it would constitute bias or not, I would say that in most situations there would be bias present, even if not on purpose. ---------------------------------------------------------
