What server rule or PK rule was violated?: I should not be PK’d because there was no valid RP reason for my death; I was randomly approached and killed without escalation or justification, violating the server’s PK guidelines. The only interaction prior to the event was late night mutual shovel fights for fun between myself and a white shirt—this was not a serious conflict, criminal activity, or faction business. There was no faction involvement, escalation, or police heat tied to any of my actions. Additionally, I do remember having an OOC conversation with someone else earlier in an alleyway, but I clearly stated in voice that everything I was saying was out of character and even dropped my character voice to reminisce about the server in 2022 (OOC). If that conversation was used as a reason for the PK or involved in any way, I require video evidence of the full voice interaction, as I kept that entirely OOC and outside the bounds of roleplay. Also, that was not who killed me. A totally random character who I had never even spoken with killed me publicly. Video evidence also shows OOC communication being used to coordinate the PK, which is explicitly forbidden and should automatically invalidate the kill. I was AFK for over 15 minutes prior to the shooting, so any claim to an ongoing retroactive PK statute does not apply; by that time, all prior fighting had ended and no active RP scenario was relevant. Most importantly, the New Life Rule (NLR) dictates that after a character is killed and respawns (hospital revival), all participants must forget events, grudges, and knowledge leading up to the death—retaliation or PKs based on prior conflicts are strictly prohibited and invalid under server rules. If accusations to the contrary are made, I demand documented video or logs, as server rules require proof of a valid PK. Otherwise, this PK is clear admin abuse, RDM, or fail RP and my character deserves reinstatement. If I broke any rule unknown to me, I request explicit evidence and clarification; but as things stand, and per the server rules, this PK must be overturned. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I have played this server for multiple years and have actually submitted quite a few staff applications, so I have been around this rodeo a few times so to say. I have responsibility on the server in my role with the District Attorneys office and have prosecuted many cases to success. I have very much enjoyed my time there and am thus seeking further satisfaction with what I can do with the server. The next logical step in my eyes without getting promoted in my already very fulfilling role is to apply to Diverge Staff. A server I enjoy playing on with friends that I have made and keep contact with and even talk to outside of the server. Therefore my motivation and reason for applying is to both give back to the server as well as giving myself the satisfaction of having more responsibility within said server. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I am a hardworking and dedicated individual, especially when looking at my track record within my current position. I have a successful position as a Executive Assistant District Attorney with the District Attorneys office and enjoy my job very much. I have prosecuted cases to the end multiple times and have amassed a respectful position amongst my colleagues within the office. I have endeavored to portray myself as a leader and confidant with people everywhere and have attempted quite successfully to stay out of trouble within my time since my return to the server. I have had roles in a couple of small servers, one of which is now defunct...or inactive in my opinion. One was an anime server I was asked onto by a friend that never really took off and thus did not have the experience to staff in the capacity in which Diverge does. The second server is another server that I have been asked to by a friend, but is currently in development and have not had the pleasure to staff as well. If so, why?: I have been banned before, but in my personal opinion it was a different time in my life and I believe my current track record should better reflect this application. That being said my first ban was when I was just new to the server, I thought that roleplaying a rogue police officer was ok and subsequently got banned for mass random death match. The second time I was having a bad night and saw an advertisement posted by some Anti-Semitic individuals and decided to take a shotgun to them. Again I was subsequently banned for mass random death match. The third time I decided to document bomb the bar sheet and rightly so consequently got permanently banned until I got welcomed back many months ago. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I believe that I am well known within both the legal community as well as the Diverge community as well. I try to make myself available to the people within the community as well as a listening ear and enjoyable presence. How do you handle this?: I look to see if a fellow staff member is online at the current time, if they are then I communicate with them and hopefully consider the situation handled. If their is not a staff member online at the time, than I would hopefully have a recording of the incident to make a report to someone who can do something about it. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: The action I would take is to report them to someone who is an either a supervisory role to myself or if higher up than me, a supervisory role to them. I would also document said abuse for evidence to present to presumed further questioning by facilitating staff members. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: The relationship between myself and the reportee does constitute bias. Therefore if another staff member is online, I would attempt to recuse myself from that ticket and allow them to take over the situation. If their is not another staff member online at the current moment, then I would treat the ticket as any other and maintain respect and civility for both parties. Okay, well I'm going to debunk literally everything you've said. 1. I joined your faction and did literally nothing and you unwhitelisted me. 2. You don't even know my characters so idk how you'd know if I am RPing. 3. I've literally mugged 4 people in my whole year of playing Diverge and I don't even minge I at most start some shit talk with people for some fun interactions for people.

Ive dealt with him as a cop, as a lawyer, and as staff. I was the banning admin from last month for the RDM. He does goof off alot BUT, I believe everyone deserves a second chance so idk.. Its a +1 for me.

I'm online most of the time when most of the staff team isn't and I think with this. I can handle a lot of tickets when the server is up during irregular hours.
