Good afternoon, You were killed for disrespecting allies and their property, and general incompetence. While i understand the frustration, simply being forgiven by one of many parties does not clear your name and make you impossible to be permanently killed. Your actions were deemed death worthy by your higher ups (the actions you admit to in your own appeal) and you were killed as a result.

Years ago super super old 1942 I vaguely remember had a camera character and all the TVs he placed would display the POV and audio of the camera as it was actively being held out and when the camera went away it went to a static screen Chance fox may remember this as another POG OG but yeah i think that’d be a neat little system keeping it relevant to the moment of the cameraman and character and it was low key fun to watch the adventure POVs the camera people would go through while being able to stay on property being able to call out "hey guys check out the tv" a lot of good civilian/legal business RP can come from it There was also the option to have personal radios in which people could speak through and host "Radio shows" "talk shows" in you tune into the frequency of the radio and the host has a entity mic that correlates with it etc which could also bring a ton of private civillian/legal business RP and more entertainment aspects of things people can do

If you read it, you would see that it is not. I manually changed the font size and did all bolds and italics/font enlargements/the 1 emoji added. The gaps are from copying and pasting between Microsoft Word and the forum text box which doesn't let you retroactively change the (px) in the text source. I get that your reply is funny but I just want an admin to consider the content of my case, not the paragraph spacing or me being shitty at forums.

This was an amazing feature on the server when it first started and it added a lot of immersion; the news cameras and live TVs should be brought back if properly optimized.

A system where staff can add whitelisted links to a vhs tape in the same way a typewriter works. The tape can then be inserted into a media player. I've read and re-read the rules. My friends and I joined the server 3 Days ago, and began trying to carve our way into the scene. After being harassed, "RDMd" ourselves, and excluded from multiple factions for our personas, we took matters into our own hands and started our own unofficial group of players. During this time it was my job to distract the server, and our rivals from the ongoing schemes being ran in the background. I did this by simply poking fun at players and drawing attention away from the action. This worked but would get me into engagements regularly. Respecting the NLR, I saw to it that i won a lot of these engagements, and in that same light, many players would come back seeking retribution, this led to more encounters and more gun fights. Im not the type of person to report another player for breaking a rule, because it doesn't bother me. What bothers me is when these people get themselves into trouble after taking the bait I'm laying down and use it as an excuse to complain to admins. Also my roomate attempted to join the server but it appears the IP is banned and that changed the ban from 7 day to perm. Ill serve my 7 days, and my roomate would like his Perm ban lifted as well. Why should you be unbanned? Self Defense, Im not responsible for other players threats and loss of self control, the "RDM" accusation comes after players threatened me or engaged in combat with my character. Im not going around random killing. Stayed in Character the whole time, never broke RP. Constantly having to fight my way out of ARDM, which im not reporting because i dont care. It just seems im being punished for winning fights, and if thats the issue ill simply change the direction of my RP character

Just for grammar correction. I have proof read this and can assure you that the ideas are original and directly relevant to the situation at hand. I did't just rip a poorly prompted 1-shot response or something lol. I actually just talk a lot and have published scientific papers IRL, so sorry if I'm overly verbose here. I just wanted to be incredibly thorough and was proof reading this/fine editing between word doc and the text editor/poster here (the reason for the weird paragraph gaps in the HTML/CSS that I can't fix with the current tools and options and inability to edit the CSS paragraph formatting inherent in the forum). I wanted to be thorough to ensure that if my character is gonna die that it's perfectly fair. I think I made a pretty strong case for insufficient evidence and reason for admin authorization (with then new advances in my understanding of the context) which would essentially make this a mistrial. I see that it was hastily approved without sufficient report/documentation/evidence. I don't believe this was done maliciously, but that the newer/ lesser-experienced admin did not totally follow the protocol and contradicted a number of server rules and granted certain necessary criteria where it didn't exist (as i highlighted in the reply). It wasnt the guy who i thought killed me, it was even more unwarranted when i found out what it really was lmao EDIT: Sorry for the verbosity. Just trying to be thorough and make sure that the reply contained every detail that I wanted to state/thought is important and directly references relevant sections of diverge server rules. Calink did a pretty good job explaining the reasons why you were banned, you cannot claim a character has PTSD just to get into shootouts with officers. While there are other ways to incorporate PTSD into a character, using it as an excuse just to engage in shootouts with cops is not allowed but also not a valid form of RP. While reviewing I've noticed that for a couple hours you followed a pattern, engaging cops, dying, rinsing and repeating. Until ultimately you got banned for RDM, you claiming that your character has PTSD may be trying to find a loophole in the rules. If you were to read the first and last sentence of the server rules; Loopholes are not allowed. "Do not attempt to loophole or bypass the spirit of the rules. Inventing reasons or false scenarios in attempt to make yourself immune to the killing/baiting/mugging/any rules is not permitted." It does not matter that a form of RP will have a certain amount of people enjoying it, if it breaks the rules it is not allowed. If we were to allow you to continue this kind of RP, it could encourage behavior we do not want on the server. This would cause many people to follow in your steps and start claiming that their characters have PTSD as well just to avoid proper consequences. At the end of the day staff has final say, we do encourage people to make appeals if they feel that their ban was not justified but in this case it was.
