What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I spend numerous hours per day on Diverge in which often is AFK, I can occupy this time by taking tickets, especially during early hours in which other staff members are on. There is many occasions in which I myself will put in a ticket and staff don't respond for prolonged amount of times, even sometimes lasting until server restart or never even responded at all. I know many other people who experience the same problems and is an common occurrence within the server which I wish to help prevent. Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I have though about applying for staff for quite a while and If I were accepted, I would do my best to enforce the rules and take the job as serious as possible, knowing that the staff team is quite a large part of the server and help up keep the rules daily making the server a good experience. Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): None, that I can remember. Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No, I have not. Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I believe I am somewhat known throughout the community and have a reasonable standing with most people that do know me. I don't believe I have any conflictions with anyone on the server - if so they do remain IC and do not get dragged out OOC. What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: Opening up my own Business for the first time, which was Successful within it's running. I also have had great experience in the servers beloved Italian Roleplay as well helping host fishing competitions as of recent. Have any staff members recommended you? Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: Take a clip and make a staff ticket for a member of staff who is currently on-duty to take and help resolve and encourage the person who was RDM'd to do the same using /looc, so the staff member is clear on who was RDM'd. After the ticket is taken and I am dragged, I will then provide the clip to the staff member and explain what happened, in which then the staff member will be able to use the evidence provided as well as my story and the person who was RDM'd, to make a proper judgement of the situation and then do what they believe is fair. You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Knowing that they're diminishing people's time and enjoyment on Diverge. If they continue to abuse, I would take and gather the evidence of them abusing such as clips, messages, etc. And make a staff report which will be resolved by a higher member of staff. A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: No matter if I knew them or not. There should not be any bias as someone has broken a rule and constitutes a punishment and a resolution immediately instead of leaving it to other staff. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: After being in this server for as long as I have been I have never not thought trying out for staff. I think after seeing other staff members operate that I could give it my best shot, do my best and give something new a try. I've also realized that becoming staff looks and sounds quite fun, So why not? Why should you be considered over other candidates?: *I feel as if I have a lot of experience in the more popular rules like minge rules, mugging rules etc. Another reason is because I am able to put in a lot of time and effort into becoming a staff member and also give good advice on the rules and what to do next time. For my final reason on why I think I should be considered over other staff members is because of how I really have no bias toward anyone, If you break a rule you break a rule, and there is nothing more to it. Does it constitute possible bias?: I would take the ticket, there should be no bias, It does not matter if they are my friend or not, If a rule has been broken then a punishment needs to be given.

Hi, banning admin here: You did a PK, chopped up the body into parts, gave said parts to a member of your faction who was on an alt character, who proceeded to then place those body parts into a rival factions storage crate in their store, afterwards whitelisting said alt into your faction and logging off. This is blatant powergaming, and assisting your faction member in character abusing in the process. You also proceeded to log off within the 15 minute PK active timer, so I can now inform you that your character has also been PK'ed. "Powergaming is described as forcing a scenario or roleplay onto someone against their will, usually in violation of the rules. Using other game mechanics to powergame can include, attempting to force players to do things outside of the server, forcing players to commit suicide, forcing players to commit crimes, forcing players to RP or /me's against their will, forcing players to give their f3, etc etc," Hopefully during the duration of your ban you can study our rules page, and then continue enjoying the server within the confines of the rules. I prop flipped multiple cars one night, on a sort of rampage. A mass car flip incident. At the time it didn’t matter much to me that I’ve lost them, I was so busy with life I simply couldn’t be bothered by losing my prop gun. However one night I decide to play the server and went to my ghetto apartment, only to find an empty space that I could no longer make my HOME. An overwhelming wave of sadness washed over me as I stared at this empty room. I am proud of my interior design skills. My ghetto apartments are truly a great area for all players to enjoy. A tsunami of grief washed me away when I realized I could no longer set up my hood drank stand independently. PLEASE FORGIVE ME STAFF TEAM. My actions were reprehensible, maybe I had to be reminded what it was like to play gmod without its essence. It is truly an unpleasant experience. I will not commit such acts again.

Yes, they should let us fight for gun & attachment rackets once or maybe twice a year. Drug rackets are a showcase of activity and power. If your power and activity weakens, your drug racket reflects that, and your weapons racket should too. Why should it not be this way for guns? Because they paid x amount of money in the “glory days”?

I do appreciate the feedback, earlier on I definitely have made mistakes which is why my record looks terrible. But overtime I have taken the server more seriously which is why I haven’t had any bans in almost a year. Not trying to justify but tbf most of my notes are truly accidental mistakes during events or petty stuff not justifiable for a ban (otherwise I would have more bans with that amount of notes)

I just got unbanned about 40 minutes ago for a separate matter, in this appeal, me attempting to log on with an alt account was mentioned and presumably taken into consideration in the deciding to accept my appeal. Though, I am writing this new appeal due to it being a different ban error when trying to access the server. I did indeed try to access the server on an alt account, and I do apologise. As I mentioned in my previous appeal, my perm ban was from 5-6 years ago and after being banned from the server I pretty much stopped playing Gmod. I recently booted up Gmod again and my first thought was this server, I did try to cheat the system, and I do apologise for that. 5-6 years is a long time to mature, and the reason I was banned all those years ago is for something I would not even consider doing now, after all of this time. I really hope I do get given another opportunity to play on this server again, my intentions on this server are not malicious and I do genuinely intend on playing it how it is supposed to be played. (I was told to wait a short while for the ban to be lifted, but the different ban error made me think maybe something went wrong or that I had to make a new appeal. If this is part of the process, please ignore this appeal :). )

gun & attachment rackets, yes. casino no. if a faction with a casino license is inactive enough they should just lose the license as a warning for their activity, and let it go to a drawing/auction. fighting a “war” for it seems kinda silly. especially considering it’s technically a government license.
