Community service and other things mentioned is quite actually a good idea, it could become an alternative instead of serving a sentence/going to court which would help DA office clear some bloat but most people sign off on misdemeanors anyways i dont believe it should be a way to get rid of felonies as it would just entirely ruin the point / risk of felonies and why you should work to avoid them etc Felons obviously dont magically lose their charges nor can lose those charges regardless of what they do (irl obviously) I do believe maybe a potential stretch could be if an arresting officer lets say 3-6 months past the felony can testify before the court arguing the felon is reformed but this could lead to metagame so probably not, if a testify system does however come into place the community service/ride alongs mentioned above can contribute towards proving "Reformity"

There is a sealing record process but with certain restrictions look at I believe judiciary act, removing a felony is just no if plead to a felony or got found guilty then that's on you especially if you take a plea don't get caught

Hey all, I'm taking the time to write out something that has been on my mind pretty much since the last racket event or when I made my last post about punishment scaling in the events. I think the server could really benefit from having some kind of in-character way to get rid of felonies, instead of it just being pardoned or donation-related stuff. Right now if you catch a felony, you’re kinda just stuck with it for a while. It doesn’t really create RP, it just limits what you can do until your either dead or pay father pendred. Stuff that already exists could be used: Doing city jobs / labor work (trash, maintenance, whatever!) Taxi driving for a certain amount of rides or time Fishing at the docks and turning in fish as like a “city quota” Nothing crazy complicated, just tasks that add up over time, and that take a certain amount of time. Add PD Ride-Alongs as a Way to Work Off Felonies Just adding onto the idea of being able to work off felonies, I think it’d be cool if PD ride-alongs were also an option. Not as a main method, but like another path people could take depending on the situation. What I mean Let people with certain felonies do a ride-along with PD and have that count toward reducing it. Nothing crazy just something structured. How it could work You get approved for it (probably by PD HC or a judge) You ride with an officer for a set amount of time You’re expected to actually listen, follow instructions, not mess around etc. If you waste time or troll, you just get removed from this process entirely no retries and it doesn’t count. Again like my last post, these are all suggestions and Im open to hear what the community thinks. Thank you, Baiited.

Just having to be in uniform on patrol isn't enough. require all detectives to wear traffic vests and make their names stand out with neon and show up 100 ft away. This may slightly balance it out

This man is the pinnacle of the Diverge Networks server. I have yet to see him not perform top quality RP among ALL of his characters. I know this man will be impartial to all situations, he would be a great pick for staff and has my +1.
