I had no idea there was a timer involved with staying after you pk someone. it was my first time killing someone and I did not mean to alt f4. I was reloading in right after. Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated?: I should be unpk'd because I was unaware of the timer set in place for leaving after a pk. I was never informed about that when I was in the situation. this is my first time ever pking someone and I knew I was already doing something wrong. I didnt know leaving was wrong as well. I worked very hard to get my character where it is today and id like a second chance to continue progressing on her. I know the rules in place now and I am sure it will never happen again. At the end of the day, stricter punishments and fairer more patient warnings for less serious rules. No OOC in IC including ads/rumors leading to bans but not on first offense. Warm, warm, gag, then bam. And it has to be real OOC not just a player trying to refer to the meta game with in character terms like Skygods or Simulation, if you catch my drift.

I'd be more susceptible to understand your plight about being stolen from, and potentially maybe even trying to run him over in a brief moment, but driving your car into an actual building to pursue him with the vehicle when you're well established to have at least tried to read VDM rules is indicative that you need to read them again.

You've just described powergame. Making a character with the same name as a lawyer in order to obtain items under the guise that you are actually him. Next time, just get bar certified.

I mean, it sounds like you knowingly created a character to reflect a lawyer's name, then used that to obtain the pin. Sure, it's on the Office for not checking your ID, so I'm 50/50 on this.

I didn't Powergame? The character I may have the same name as, which happens to be someone that was PK'ed on a government char, because staff was trying to find a character like that and said there wasn't, and someone sent a clip of that guy, but that char was never even mine. I never made a char named "James Long" before, the only closest to that was a char I had called "Jeremiah "Private" Long", which was a mob char and I no longer have it. I stole an ABA Pin from the Chief of Staff, yes, but that's not against the rules? It may have seemed a little mingy as I was trying to have fun pretending to be a fake lawyer once I stole a guy's ABA pin, but I really don't get why I got 2 weeks for this and not a warning if anything at all? It is useful, it's rare now because roleplay is often stale, but sometimes people in factions are "not exactly aligned" with it's formal leadership or factions within a faction, and it's imperative to stop metagame via the tab menu in such situations.

+1 delete minge chars that don't have mains, if they do have mains char lock them to their minge chars that way they can't go on their mains and actually rp. lol that would be hilarious.

Remove "Masked individual" from the Tab menu; if people have your name, they know who you are. It isn't useful for anyone, especially when the only people who have your name are your own faction.
