Reason for ban: Fail Mug + Mugging Char

Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): I made a ticket report on an unsure PK but realized since it was on a white shirt I thought staff wouldn't care for it. And I was myself very unsure if it was a fail mug due to it being located in the weed alley next to the church. I was informed that it was a fail mug and it was entirely a green zone. I was compliant towards Auxiliary and even agreed I was at some sorts of fault, but he started to bring up a sort of escalation towards a more hefty ban even though it was MY ticket. He started to list off my inventory and my low hours of char time and stated that it was admissible for a permanent ban. 

Why should you be unbanned?: I feel it is unjust to upgrade a small problematic ticket into a possible perma ban AND having my char PK'd, YES I know it was a fail mug and I take full responsibility to whatever punishment comes with it, but trying to make it permanent? I wasn't purposely having a mugging char, and I'm not even FULLY educated on mugging rules, I only know the bare basics and I've skimmed over the map like twice. YES AGAIN, that is also ON ME, but when a small ticket turns into a possible perma ban AND having my char killed, I have to say something...

Hello, I was the administrator involved in both the PK of your character and your ban.

The report you made through the ticket system was, "PK, yes the leading part of the mug was infrong of NPC but I tried to lead him elsewhere". Upon taking the ticket and collecting the clip you provided (the same one provided in the Additional Information section of your appeal), I deemed the situation to be a fail mug considering the entire incident transpired in a green zone (see mugging rules). Upon seeing this, I began to check your character to see if you had a history of similar behavior. Upon looking into your notes, I found notes indicative of NITRP (ERP notes), along with ~5 total notes. Looking into your character, I found several indicators of a mugging character (7 hours of playtime on-character, cheapest pistol available (no gun license), several ties), and upon conferring with other available staff members, they agreed that you would qualify as a mugging character. During the discussion I had with you, you admitted to me that you did not understand the mugging rules but still decided to mug an individual.

Considering the objective rule breaks, previous NITRP-esque notes and the admission of a lack of knowledge in the rules, I felt a 1 month ban would be appropriate. In the sit, I informed you that I would also be forwarding the information to higher staff for consideration of an increased ban time.
