Goblins
Name of Character: Crhistopher Kinahan Character ID: 174936 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:231340025 Your Discord ID#: Goblins12 Date of PK: 22/08/26 Reason for PK: Unknown Why should you be unPK'd? What server rule or PK rule was violated? I believe this PK should be overturned because the PK was facilitated through OOC communication on Discord, rather than being initiated and carried out naturally through IC roleplay. The person who performed the PK is a member of the same family. I had already left the server before he did the PK. Instead of the situation naturally occurring in-game, he contacted me through Discord and specifically asked me to come back to the server, presenting it as something urgent that required me to return. I trusted what I was told and returned to the server, after which the PK was carried out. This is important because the Discord communication was not unrelated to the situation. It was directly used to get me back into the server so that the PK could happen. Without that OOC communication, I would not have returned to the server at that moment and the situation leading to the PK would not have occurred in the same way. The PK Guidelines specifically state: > “Using OOC means of communication to perform a PK will invalidate it / the evidence for a PK.” Discord is an OOC means of communication, and in this situation it was used specifically to facilitate the circumstances in which the PK was performed. The rule is intended to prevent OOC communication from being used to manipulate or facilitate a character's death through information or communication that does not exist within the roleplay. There is also a separate rule stating: > “You may not bait someone into a PK.” While the rule gives examples such as deliberately starting a confrontation and escalating it, the underlying principle is that players should not manipulate a situation specifically in order to create an opportunity to PK someone. In my case, I was contacted outside of the game and convinced to return to the server, and the result was that I was placed into a situation where I was PK'd. There is also a concern with the evidence itself. In the screenshots provided, the conversation appears to be incomplete. At one point it appears as though I am suddenly responding to myself, which indicates that part of the conversation is missing. The Discord messages leading up to me returning to the server are therefore important context, because they explain why I returned and what I was told before the PK occurred. I am not arguing that a PK can never happen simply because Discord was used at some point. My argument is that Discord was directly used to facilitate this specific PK by getting me back into the server after I had already left. That makes the OOC communication directly relevant to how the PK was carried out. For these reasons, I believe the PK does not meet the intended PK standards and should be overturned. At minimum, I believe the Discord conversation should be reviewed in full before the PK is considered valid, including the missing messages and the circumstances under which I was asked to return to the server. If possible please provide video evidence or photo evidence if PK does not follow the guidelines: By PK GuideLines: Line 203: ■ You may not bait someone into a PK. This means that starting a confrontation in order to escalate it then use that as a reason to PK someone, this is not permitted. This includes mugging or kidnapping to abuse Fear RP PKs 2. Using OOC terms over Mic, (Such as yelling "thats a pk, thats a pk!" After killing someone) may void the PK entirely. Remain in character at all times. 3. Using OOC means of communication to perform a PK will invalidate it / the evidence for a PK. 1 Link to comment
SexaphoneGod
Hello, I am the admin that set your character active as result of orders being written by your faction. When you join any criminal faction, you are met with this prompt: I cannot speak for your fellow faction members, but when you were set active you were on the server, on your character. They ordered your death for bringing heat to the faction, and cited you being arrested several times while with fellow faction members. While I do not believe this PK was unjust, good luck on your appeal. Link to comment

So first of all, regarding my activity on the server, there is no way I did what they claimed here, and that is another issue to look into, and I would also like to see evidence. 2. Using OOC to lure someone back to the server and PK them is illegal, this can be seen in the PK guidelines, and the exact quotes I posted above. Also, you can also see in the evidence that there was a conversation, and suddenly it was deleted, meaning that you can clearly see that he deleted the messages. Link to comment
